These were his Level 0 stats — others would be stunned to learn of them.

Monsters slain in the wild could be harvested for food and wouldn't respawn. But those that perished within a Lord's territory would eventually regenerate.

After dispatching the rabbit, they resumed their exploration.

Zhou Yan's Rainbow Lord Space featured a mobile storage area, essentially a spatial warehouse. At present, it was a mere ten square meters and required spirit coins for expansion.

The local monsters were sly, adept at using the terrain to conceal themselves. It wasn't long before Diaochan and Zhou Yan faced another assault, this time from a Black Scaled Snake.

These creatures were no match for them and were quickly dispatched.

In addition to the snakes and rabbits, they encountered several other Level 1 monsters.

These low-level adversaries posed no threat to Zhou Yan. Diaochan didn't even need to lift a finger as he dispatched them with ease.

His real-world combat experience was growing at an impressive rate.

His attributes were solid; it was only the lack of real combat that held him back.

With Diaochan by his side to ensure his safety, he was determined to grow stronger as quickly as possible.

As his combat experience accumulated, Zhou Yan noticed a significant increase in his perceptiveness.

Their only disappointment was the lack of equipment in the wooden chests they found; the drop rate for gear was frustratingly low.

Diaochan typically had better luck with chests, whereas Zhou Yan often ended up with just a single spirit coin. So, he left the chest-opening to her.

Diaochan's good fortune didn't disappoint, and nearly every chest she opened contained Soul Coins.

Later, Zhou Yan found a spot to rest and offered some food to Diaochan, "Try this."

As he explained, Zhou Yan showed Diaochan how to unwrap it.

Diaochan's manner of eating was graceful, nibbling at the bread in small bites.

A blush crept onto Diaochan's cheeks. She was irresistibly adorable. Zhou Yan yearned to embrace her but refrained.

Despite her shyness, no one could guess how decisive she was when slaying monsters.

He now had 98 Soul Coins and 172 Spirit Coins but still lacked any equipment.

Even with Diaochan's luck, obtaining gear from low-level monsters was a rare occurrence.

Zhou Yan and Diaochan moved on, spotting a towering creature in the distance. Upon closer inspection, it was a Level 5 Worgen.

Her grace was unmatched; even from behind, she resembled a celestial being.

The werewolf was slain by Diaochan before it could even react.

"Diaochan has vanquished a Level 5 Elite monster, the werewolf. You have earned an additional reward of 10 Soul Coins."

"We've been awarded a total of 10 Soul Coins!"

Zhou Yan was astounded. Defeating higher-level monsters clearly yielded greater rewards. With Diaochan's defeat of a Level 5 Elite monster, he had earned 10 Soul Coins, a far more efficient gain than from their lesser foes.

Of course, this was possible due to Diaochan's formidable strength.

Now, with his Soul Coin count at 108, he had enough to level up.

Zhou Yan believed that using 100 Soul Coins for his own advancement would have a minimal impact.

He swiftly accessed Diaochan's attribute list to upgrade her.
