C1 The Underground Space Is Connected to the Three Realms

"Thankfully, with a bit of cleaning, it's still livable."

Yaen Feilong returned to the old house.

Since his parents had found success and moved to the city, the old house had been nearly forgotten, leaving the hundred-square-meter cottage blanketed in dust.

He spent the whole afternoon tidying up, and it wasn't until after one o'clock that the worn house began to resemble a home again.

"When did a door get added to the basement?"

Yaen Feilong, while cleaning the basement, stopped short, puzzled. He didn't remember there being a door there.

The door's lock was corroded with rust. Yaen Feilong picked up a brick and effortlessly broke the lock.

He opened the door and stepped inside, only to be completely taken aback the next moment.

Inside the room, there were rows of neatly arranged wooden shelves that looked rustic yet elegant, likely quite valuable.

But what was most striking was that the shelves were completely free of dust, appearing brand new, as if they hadn't been storing items for over a decade.

"How did these get here?"

Yaen Feilong's brow furrowed in confusion as he set down the ham sausage and began to examine the items, which were all pristine goods from his childhood.

*Ding-a-ling!*

"Your delicious takeout is here, please come out and collect your order!"

Just then, Yaen Feilong's phone rang. After answering, he heard the delivery person's voice, tinged with urgency.

The takeout had arrived?

After a morning of hard work, Yaen Feilong was ravenous. At the news, he quickly put the ham sausage on the shelf and hurried out.

After enjoying his meal, he made sure to leave a positive review for the delivery person.

But upon returning to the basement and pushing open the rusty door, he was shocked by what he saw.

The ham sausage on the shelf was gone, replaced by a dazzling blue bead!

The radiant bead shone brilliantly, resembling an eye.

Though Yaen Feilong was no expert, he could sense the bead's value.

"I took a liking to those little snacks. Consider this Spiritual Eye a down payment. If it's not enough, I'll add more next time!"

"Who's there?!"

Yaen Feilong had barely approached the bead when a voice echoed in his ear.

Startled, he leaped to his feet, his eyes darting around the deserted basement as sweat beaded on his forehead and the hairs on his back stood on end.

Yaen Feilong eyed the blue Spiritual Bead within arm's reach. Faced with the choice between fleeing and succumbing to temptation, he ultimately succumbed.

Swish!

But the moment Yaen Feilong's palm brushed against the Spiritual Bead, the dazzling blue bead transformed into a warm flow, merging back into his body!

In that instant, Yaen Feilong felt as though his eyes were enveloped by an invisible force, plunging him into temporary blindness.

"Am I blind?"

Yaen Feilong yelled out loud.

But before panic could set in, his vision cleared.

And as it did, Yaen Feilong discovered he had gained a special ability!

X-ray vision!

Yes, x-ray vision!

Beyond seeing through objects, Yaen Feilong noticed the once barren basement now revealed a mystical world shrouded in immortal mist behind the wooden shelves.

Occasionally, he could spot deities and demons soaring through the air.

"Could it be that my basement connects to other dimensions!"

Yaen Feilong exclaimed, overwhelmed with excitement.

Indeed, when one's luck bottoms out, it's bound to turn around!

"I've really hit a stroke of luck, but why do I feel so lightheaded..."

Yaen Feilong staggered, his head spinning, nearly collapsing to the floor.

"It seems this x-ray vision isn't something to be used lightly; my eyes can't take it!"

Exiting the basement, Yaen Feilong stroked his chin, pondering, "Or perhaps this is my opportunity to rise. I can't just sit around waiting for my parents to return. I must take action!"

Resolved, Yaen Feilong dashed out of the old house, determined to raid the mall and purchase everything that might catch the eye of the immortals.

Not far from the mall lay Antique Street in Yunling City, a place known for its name but infamous as a haven for counterfeits.

As Yaen Feilong walked by, he glanced casually in that direction.

That's when he made a discovery.

His Spiritual Eye seemed like it could be used for gambling!
