C14 The Ranking List Opened!
Before the crowd could fully process their amazement at Chen Guo's rapid leveling, the system broadcast a fresh announcement:
"The Whole Heaven Battlefield is now open for a full 24 hours, and the leaderboards are live!"
"There are three categories of leaderboards: Global, Regional, and Beginner Village!"
"Each category features Level, Combat Record, and Battle Strength rankings!"
"Generous rewards await the top ten in each leaderboard. We encourage all trial challengers to give it their all!"
"Trial challengers may view the leaderboards within the data module."
This announcement sent waves of excitement throughout the community.
Though it was clear the intent was to spur competition, not a single person lacked the desire to climb the ranks.
Almost instantly, everyone accessed the leaderboards to pore over the details.
Most weren't looking for their own names, knowing they weren't likely to make the cut. Instead, they were curious about the gap between themselves and the leaderboard's top contenders.
Their first stop was the Beginner Village rankings, the most relevant to their current standing.
The Regional and Global rankings seemed out of reach for now.
"Beginner Village Level Rankings"
First place: ??, Level 7
Second place: Wang Shaoyun, Level 4
Third place: Zhou Tao, Level 4
Fourth place: Lu Bufan, Level 4
...
Tenth place: Pi Yixing, Level 4!
The top ten were predominantly Level 4, with the exception of the enigmatic Chen Guo, who stood alone at a staggering Level 7.
"How on earth did the first-place boss do it? I don't even have an option to hide my info. You can't hide your details on the leaderboard!" Zhou Tao, ranked third, was baffled.
He attempted to conceal his details, but while channel messages could be hidden, leaderboard information was utterly unobscured.
The fact that the top player managed to hide their identity was nothing short of astonishing.
"Big bosses are big bosses for a reason—they possess means beyond our comprehension!"
With no explanation in sight, they were left to speculate.
"Speaking of which, if they're all Level 4, how are the rankings determined?"
"It must be by the speed of leveling up. Wang Shaoyun, I believe, was the quickest to hit Level 4, with Zhou Tao right behind. That's likely how they're sorted!"
"The leaderboard for battle achievements, combat power, and levels might as well be carbon copies of each other. But can you believe the top player has a whopping 1296 power points? Isn't that just over the top?"
"Seriously, Wang Shaoyun in second place has only 594 points. Is the gap between level four and seven really that huge?"
"Well, that's the big boss for you—the one who single-handedly annihilated the Hunting Dragon Squad!"
The trial challengers in Beginner Village noticed that the leaders of small teams dominated the top ten spots on the leaderboard. While killing points were distributed among team members, the allocation often reflected individual contributions—the greater the contribution, the more points awarded.
As a result, team leaders were usually the first to level up. Each person in the top ten signified a significant power, except for Chen Guo, the enigmatic loner in the first place.
...
Chen Guo, too, received the notification about the leaderboard going public.
He was then greeted with a pop-up message:
"Standard information cannot be hidden from the leaderboard. Trial challenger Chen Guo, you possess the Guangcheng skin. Would you like to activate Guangcheng's stealth feature to conceal your personal information on the leaderboard?"
"Yes."
"No."
After a brief consideration, Chen Guo confidently selected "Yes." It wasn't that he was avoiding trouble; he simply saw no benefit in fame.
Fame brings nothing but trouble and countless prying eyes.
Securing any advantages in the future would only become more challenging.
Besides, his cloning talent was exceptionally powerful—if it caught someone's attention, who knows what issues might arise.
And so, Chen Guo's information remained hidden on the leaderboard.
Chen Guo didn't bother checking the Beginner Village rankings; he didn't need to—he was well aware he was at the top.
With such a formidable head start, having devoured the largest resources of Blackwater, including Yin Susu and Old Master Zhang, not claiming first place would be a disgrace.
Chen Guo was curious about his ranking both regionally and globally.
Belonging to the East Asia region, he could only access its rankings.
East Asia Region Leaderboard:
First place, Lei Kun, level 9
Second place, Zhou Tao, level 7
Third place, Gao Chao, level 7
Fourth place, Lin Dong, level 7
Aside from the formidable Lei Kun, the top four were all level seven, followed by a uniform field of level six.
Chen Guo held the second spot on the East Asia Leaderboard, just behind Lei Kun. However, in the East Asia Power Rankings, Chen Guo was unmatched:
First place, ???, with 1,296 points of power.
Second place, Lei Kun, with 998 points of power.
Third place, Gao Chao, with 875 points of power.
Fourth place, Lin Dong, with 872 points of power.
Chen Guo's power was off the charts due to the numerous attributes she had duplicated, making her actual power even more formidable.
Lei Kun's power, however, had yet to break the thousand-point mark.
The other two level seven trial challengers had over eight hundred points of power.
Those at level six varied, with power points ranging from 690 to 750.
Chen Guo wasn't particularly surprised by these standings. With billions of people in East Asia, not securing the top spot was to be expected.
In such a vast population, there's always someone with Heaven Level talent, and if they're not concealing their abilities, it likely means they're part of a team.
Team mode, despite dividing experience, offers high efficiency—an advantage Chen Guo, as a solo player, doesn't have.
Chen Guo's edge lies in her ability to monopolize opportunities and duplicate items, which is why her actual combat strength is unrivaled in East Asia.
Globally, the level leaderboard looked like this:
First place, Lei Kun, level nine.
Second place, Blues, level eight.
Third place, Puluo, level eight.
Fourth place, Yamamoto, level eight.
Fifth place, ???, level seven.
Chen Guo dropped to fifth place in the global level rankings.
She also occupied the fifth position in the global battle rankings.
Considering battle records are based on the number of kills, Chen Guo's solo performance to reach fifth place is quite impressive.
When it comes to the power rankings, Chen Guo continues to reign supreme:
First place, ???, with 1,296 points of power.
Second place, Lei Kun, with 998 points of power.
Third place, Puluo, with 997 points of power.
Fourth place, Yamamoto, with 994 points of power.
Fifth place, Blues, with 989 points of power.
Chen Guo's power towers above the rest.
Those with higher levels or rankings than Chen Guo pale in comparison to her combat prowess.
Chen Guo was in a league of her own; any challengers would be completely outclassed.
"Secure a spot in the top ten of any leaderboard and be rewarded with a golden treasure chest."
"Rank first across all combat power leaderboards and receive a Cosmos Bag."
"The Cosmos Bag offers ten square meters of storage space, perfect for personal belongings."
"Given your ranking as an oppressor of all beings, you've earned the title 'Suppressor of All.' With this title equipped, your damage increases by 2% in battles against trial challengers."
Chen Guo's multiple leaderboard placements netted her a string of rewards.
The golden treasure chest was a prize beyond compare, and with Chen Guo's ability to replicate it, she effectively had two at her disposal.
