C7 To be Neighbors with Teacher Beauty
Xiao Ge was momentarily taken aback before he recognized the striking figure before him and quickly shook his head. "Uh, Teacher Su, I'm not here to see you."
Teacher Su, or Su Yunman, was the first instructor Xiao Ge had encountered upon his arrival at Ningcheng University earlier that day. As his class counselor, they had already met during the afternoon's enrollment process, though she hadn't been dressed quite like this at the time.
"What are you doing here, then?" Su Yunman asked, her brow furrowing slightly. They were in the teachers' dormitory, after all. What business could a student possibly have here other than seeking out a teacher?
Before Xiao Ge could respond, the door to Room 604 across the hall burst open. A muscular man, bare-chested, stood at the threshold, his eyes blazing with anger as he scanned the scene before locking onto Xiao Ge. "Were you the one knocking on my door just now?"
"It's you who's the bastard! Your whole family are bastards!" Xiao Ge retorted, his temper flaring. He had been insulted out of the blue and wasn't about to take it lying down. His master had always preached that a disciple of Tang Men should remain inconspicuous, specializing in stealth and surprise attacks. Yet, Xiao Ge believed that discretion didn't mean cowardice. If he let this man insult him without a comeback, he'd be the real fool.
"Looking for trouble, are you?" The burly man, already seething, grew even more enraged by Xiao Ge's comeback. He lunged forward, his massive fist aimed squarely at Xiao Ge.
"Stop!" Su Yunman's voice rang out sharply, "Teacher Zhu, you can't hit a student!"
At the sound of Su Yunman's command, the man's movement halted instinctively, his fist freezing just half a foot from Xiao Ge's face.
"Enough, Gang!" A sultry voice called out as another attractive woman appeared at the doorway. She was certainly appealing, with a voluptuous and sensual figure. Yet, standing next to Su Yunman, the contrast was stark. Her sole advantage over Su Yunman was her current state of undress.
The seductive woman's eyes brimmed with allure, her cheeks flushed with a telltale crimson. Clearly, she and her companion had been engaged in adult activities, and the interruption at their door was an unwelcome surprise. No wonder the muscular man was visibly frustrated, his face contorted with unsatisfied desire.
Upon hearing the woman's voice, the muscular man reluctantly lowered his fist. He shot Xiao Ge a menacing look and growled, "You got lucky this time."
His eyes greedily swept over Su Yunman's graceful figure before he turned and stomped back into his room, slamming the door shut with a resounding thud.
"It's you who's lucky," Xiao Ge muttered, eyeing the closed door with a hint of scorn.
"Xiao Ge, when did you get here?" Su Yunman asked, her expression a mix of curiosity and suspicion. The ruckus Zhu Gangqiang had stirred up in the room was nothing short of thunderous, prompting her to reconsider her plan to stay in and instead head for the office. Now, she couldn't help but wonder if Xiao Ge had been snooping on sounds he shouldn't have.
"Teacher Su, I've just arrived and was about to unlock my door," Xiao Ge responded swiftly, then proceeded to unlock and enter Room 601, closing the door behind him.
Staring at the closed door, Su Yunman was taken aback. Xiao Ge lived here? But this was the faculty dormitory. How could a student like him reside in such a place?
"He's certainly an odd one," Su Yunman mused quietly, then shook off her thoughts, closed her door, and made her way to the elevator.
Unbeknownst to Su Yunman, Xiao Ge indeed had his abode there. And Xiao Ge himself had only recently discovered he was neighbors with Su Yunman. Despite her being a beautiful teacher, he wasn't sure if living so close to the counselor was entirely advantageous.
The apartment was in fact a studio, complete with a bedroom, living room, kitchen, bathroom, and a tiny study, totaling about forty square meters. It was undeniably lavish for a student to occupy such a space, which was typically reserved for single faculty members.
Xiao Ge had been admitted to Ningcheng University under the guise of a special admissions program, a setup orchestrated by his master. Xiao Ge was clueless about how his master managed it, but he knew one thing for sure: upon arriving at school today, he headed straight for the principal's office. The principal was remarkably accommodating, fulfilling all his requests. When Xiao Ge needed a separate dormitory and found none available in the men's quarters, the principal arranged for him to stay in a single apartment within the faculty housing, making him neighbors with the likewise single Su Yunman.
"It seems I might end up living here for the next four years," Xiao Ge mused. If he couldn't get out of the marriage, leaving was probably off the table.
Surveying the spotless room with its fresh bedding, the pristine sofa, television, fridge in the living room, and the new laptop in the small study, he found everything he needed was already in place. This realization brought a sense of contentment to Xiao Ge; the place wasn't half bad after all.
The old adage "bloom where you're planted" came to mind, and he decided to settle in for now. The engagement cancellation could wait—there was no need to rush.
Suddenly, a cool sensation brushed against his chest. Sensing something, Xiao Ge's face lit up with a radiant smile. "Huahua, you like it here too, don't you?"
No reply came, but in an instant, a white light darted from the neckline of Xiao Ge's t-shirt.
He extended his right hand, and the light settled into his palm, revealing itself to be a spider. It was tiny, just a bit smaller than a pinky finger, with a snow-white body and, upon closer inspection, fourteen transparent legs.
"Flower, you were prettier with your colorful look before. Now you've turned all white. Maybe I should call you Little White?" Xiao Ge murmured to the spider resting calmly in his hand. "But the name Little White is so common. How would it highlight your uniqueness? Hmm, your legs have turned transparent, making you quite the little phantom. How about Little Ming? That name has a certain renown and grandeur... Oh, you're not a fan? Well then, Huahua it is."
The colorful little spider named Huahua suddenly stood on two legs, leapt into the air, performed a mid-air somersault, and then descended. Following its landing, it transformed into a speck of white light that darted towards Xiao Ge's chest and vanished in the blink of an eye.
"Uh, you're ignoring me now?" Xiao Ge reached to his chest and extracted a jade pendant. Though his neck appeared bare, a tug revealed two transparent threads, actually a unique necklace, from which dangled not only a thumb-sized jade pendant but also a gleaming golden key! A moan of ecstasy pierced through the succession of doors, leaving Xiao Ge momentarily dazed before he realized the sounds were emanating from Room 604.
"Flower, let's be naughty," Xiao Ge said with a mischievous grin. He tucked the jade pendant and golden key back into his shirt, stepped out of his room, and closed the door behind him.
