C12 It Was Not Good to be too Accurate! Master of Versailles!

"Huh? This world-class man has quite the presence; he seems pretty impressive," Lin Feng mused, visibly taken aback by the sight before him.

He gazed at Tang Xinyi standing there!

Where was the image of the powerful businesswoman now?

She looked nothing short of a gentle and endearing kitten.

"Strike while the iron is hot!"

Seizing the moment!

Suddenly!

With a single thought!

In a flash, Lin Feng released all the power within his body, achieving perfect-level speed!

In the blink of an eye, Lin Feng transformed into a streak of lightning, zipping across several meters to appear right in front of a bewildered Tang Xinyi!

"How is this possible?"

"How can he be so fast?"

Tang Xinyi was still reeling from Lin Feng's domineering aura when, a second later, she was once again astounded by his frightening speed!

"His speed must be even faster than an Olympic champion's!"

Tang Xinyi had just enough time to make that comparison!

Boom!

In the next instant!

She felt a solid punch land squarely on her chest!

The formidable speed created massive inertia!

Thud!

Tang Xinyi hit the ground with a heavy thud!

"Hmm? His strength doesn't seem all that great?" After a moment of careful consideration, Tang Xinyi realized she wasn't injured and let out a sigh of relief. She couldn't help but look at Lin Feng with eyes filled with gratitude, "Thank goodness he didn't really lose his temper with me. Otherwise, with his strength, a full-force strike from him would have left me either dead or severely injured."

Scrambling to her feet, Tang Xinyi didn't bother to brush off the dust; she approached Lin Feng with great respect and offered a heartfelt apology, "I'm sorry, Lin Feng. Thank you for your mercy and for sparing me. Otherwise... it would have been a disaster for me!"

"Now, I want to formally apologize for my earlier rashness and arrogance."

With that, Tang Xinyi bowed deeply at a 90-degree angle, pleading for Lin Feng's forgiveness.

"It shouldn't be like this! It just shouldn't! My full-force punch didn't inflict any real harm on her?"

Yet, as Lin Feng watched Tang Xinyi bounce back, virtually unscathed, he was utterly dumbfounded!

He was determined to give Tang Xinyi a harsh lesson!

But...

It seemed his strength was insufficient?

"Alright, since you've apologized so earnestly, I'll forgive you." Lin Feng clapped his hands, feeling utterly frustrated!

He had expected Tang Xinyi to be unable to rise.

He imagined her kneeling and singing 'Conquer'!

But he never anticipated this.

Lin Feng had overestimated his own strength!

It was like a three-year-old trying to take on a muscular heavyweight boxer. No matter how hard the child tried, he couldn't inflict any damage on the boxer.

Lin Feng was in the same predicament!

His strength was too feeble to cause any real harm to Tang Xinyi.

"It seems I need to find a way to boost my strength."

Lin Feng recognized the gravity of the situation!

To become a formidable soldier, one must possess not only world-class marksmanship but also perfect-level physical fitness.

In the special forces, everyone's marksmanship is strong, capable of hitting the target with precision from a hundred steps away. Within the effective range of their firearms, they could almost always hit their mark.

What remained to be compared was their physical fitness.

However, for the moment, it was quite an achievement to have earned Tang Xinyi's gratitude.

"Thank you." Tang Xinyi smiled, visibly relieved.

"Director Tang, you're too kind." Lin Feng replied with a gracious smile, waving his hand.

Soon, they were back in the car, speeding along.

The wind whistled past their ears, a pleasant sensation.

Yet Tang Xinyi's expression was stern as she drove in silence!

In that moment, her view of Lin Feng had completely transformed!

She could never have imagined that Lin Feng's burst of speed would be so incredibly fast!

So fast it was astonishing!

Even she, a 9th dan Taekwondo expert, couldn't react quickly enough.

"Truly, appearances can be deceiving! Who would have guessed that a seemingly harmless high school student could be such a formidable top-level master?"

Tang Xinyi stole a glance at Lin Feng, who was admiring the scenery, her heart a tumult of emotions.

All of a sudden!

Lin Feng stood up and pulled Tang Xinyi into his arms.

Ding-dong ~ He remained vigilant even in his sleep, detecting the presence of an enemy and mastering a proficient-level sense of danger. This sense of danger allowed him to feel an intense killing intent!

Simultaneously, the front windshield of the car shattered violently, and a bullet pierced the driver's seat where Tang Xinyi had been sitting moments before.

From the woods behind them, two off-road vehicles burst forth, machine guns protruding from their roofs, and began spraying the jeep with bullets.

"Be careful, we've got enemies," Lin Feng warned as he held Tang Xinyi. With swift coordination, he pressed the brakes with his feet and maneuvered the jeep to pick up speed.

Tang Xinyi, nestled in his embrace, heard his words and felt the warmth of his breath on her neck, causing her cheeks to flush with color. She felt a comforting sense of safety with Lin Feng, making her want to stay curled up in his arms.

"Enemies?"

"What's happening?"

"Have they been ambushed?"

Tang Xinyi braced herself as if preparing for a major confrontation.

After some struggle, Lin Feng managed to carry Tang Xinyi to safety and took his place in the driver's seat.

Gripping the steering wheel, he was overwhelmed by a strong sense of crisis. His only desire at that moment was to master the art of driving.

Ding-dong ~ Sensing the host's intense determination to improve, the host's driving skills became invigorated and automatically advanced to proficient-level, grasping the essential techniques of proficient-level driving.

These classic driving techniques weren't particularly complex, but they were certainly better than nothing given the current circumstances.

Lin Feng floored the accelerator, and the vehicle surged forward.

The assailants behind them saw the car still in motion and, realizing the driver was alive, resumed their barrage of gunfire.

However, Lin Feng's driving was exceptional; the jeep weaved in an S-pattern, making it impossible for them to land a shot. To their dismay, they found they couldn't even keep up.

"With that kind of shooting, my grandma could aim better than you," Lin Feng taunted with a cold smile, his hand finding its way to Tang Xinyi's waist.

"Hey, what are you doing?!" Tang Xinyi exclaimed, nearly leaping out of her skin, but then she noticed Lin Feng drawing her handgun and aiming it outside.

"You wanted to see what I'm really capable of, right? Keep your eyes peeled!" Lin Feng said with a mischievous grin, peering into the rearview mirror as he pulled the trigger of the handgun he was holding in reverse.

Bang! Bang! Bang! Three consecutive shots rang out, followed by three orderly screams of agony from behind.

Tang Xinyi's face registered utter disbelief as she watched the off-road vehicle behind her spiral out of control and smash into a tree.

"Oh my God!"

"How did you manage that?"

Her eyes widened as she exclaimed in shock.

Glancing in the rearview mirror, she saw Lin Feng, still driving, expertly take down the three individuals in the pursuing off-road vehicle with his handgun.

This was beyond human!

"Did you serve in a different unit before? Was it Advisor Fan who brought you over?" Tang Xinyi inquired, considering it the only plausible explanation.

Lin Feng shook his head, "I'm new to the military. Advisor Fan recruited me specially. Honestly, I was reluctant, but he was so insistent that I eventually agreed to do him the favor."

Tang Xinyi was utterly astounded by his admission. Advisor Fan had to employ a special recruitment and persuade him at length before Lin Feng would begrudgingly consent to join the Wolf Fang Special Combat Brigade?

She would have found it impossible to believe just ten minutes earlier, but having witnessed Lin Feng's marksmanship and his unflappable demeanor, she was convinced of his formidable prowess.

These weren't just tough individuals; they were more akin to wolves, a step beyond mere toughness.

Reflecting on her earlier underestimation of him, Tang Xinyi could almost hear the figurative slaps to her own face.

Lin Feng kept driving as the second off-road vehicle, driven mad by the death of its companion, began firing wildly. Yet, he remained unflustered, skillfully maneuvering the car.

When the machine gun fire from the off-road vehicle ceased, Lin Feng repeated his earlier feat, firing his pistol in rapid succession and striking the driver in the chest.

The vehicle immediately veered off course, tumbling into a ditch beside the road.

"I'm curious to see who's after my life, Lin Feng," he mused, already harboring a suspicion.

He could think of only two adversaries: the organization of Fatty Liu, Anran's undercover agent, and the folks from the Macao Casino.

Lin Feng swiftly approached the wrecked off-road vehicle for a brief inspection and discovered both assassins with fatal shots to their foreheads, their shocked expressions frozen in death. They were beyond saving.

"Sometimes being too accurate with a gun isn't such a good thing after all; I can't even leave a witness alive," Lin Feng lamented.

Upon hearing this, Tang Xinyi felt a surge of frustration almost overwhelm her once again.

Complaining about being too accurate?

That's just showing off!

Do you have any idea how many people are desperately trying to become sharpshooters?
