C15 One Punch for One
Soong Kaifei didn't pull any punches. He put his full force into that kick, and had it connected, it would have done more than break bones; the recipient would have been bedridden for well over ten days, maybe even a month.
It was a brutal move.
Lin Feng let out a cold laugh and, without a moment's hesitation, threw a punch straight at Soong Kaifei's leg.
With his perfect-level speed and divine-level strength, Lin Feng could easily strike his opponent anywhere. The attack was so swift that he could hardly see his own movements.
Using these two skills, any combat technique he employed would be amplified to near invincibility. It was an absolute display of overwhelming power, crushing all opposition.
The special forces could only catch a glimpse of Lin Feng's figure before Soong Kaifei was sent flying, slamming into the nearby white wall with such force that he was momentarily embedded in it before collapsing to the ground seconds later.
There it was, that terrifying speed.
Tang Xinyi watched Lin Feng, whose figure seemed to have barely flickered from start to finish, her face awash with admiration.
This kind of speed was a total domination over the Red Cell. They didn't stand a chance to retaliate. She doubted there was anyone in the Red Cell capable of going toe-to-toe with Lin Feng for even a single round.
There was no denying it; Lin Feng was simply too powerful. In terms of both speed and strength, he was unlike anyone Tang Xinyi had ever encountered.
And it was precisely this formidable power that had begun to crack the pride she had held since childhood, albeit subtly.
"Chenbu, did he just move?"
"My eyes must be playing tricks on me. How did Soong Kaifei end up flying out on his own?"
"Is this guy really a new recruit? He's like a monster."
The onlooking special forces were left speechless, struggling to process the scene they had just witnessed.
They hadn't even caught a clear view of Lin Feng's actions before Soong Kaifei was airborne. It wasn't a case of him flying out on his own; Lin Feng's speed was simply too fast for them to track.
A monster, an absolute monster.
They had never encountered someone so fearsome. His speed was blinding, and his power was such that he sent Lee Erniu, who weighed nearly 150 Jin, flying. It was beyond human.
These were just the new recruits. If they were to train for a few more years, who knows what they could become? They'd probably be unbeatable.
Their faces registered shock, almost to the point of being stupefied.
Xu Tianlong and Hee Chenguang rushed to assist Soong Kaifei, only to find that he had already passed out.
"Damn it, this guy is way out of line," Xu Tianlong swore furiously. Two serious injuries in a row were a direct affront to the Red Cell's reputation.
The Red Cell was a newly established unit, still green and in dire need of building its reputation to secure training resources.
Now, if Red Cell didn't retaliate against Lin Feng, their entire team would be disgraced. They wouldn't be able to hold their heads up in the Wolf Fang ever again, let alone vie for better training resources. Even continuing to recruit would be in jeopardy.
"We absolutely can't let this slide," Hee Chenguang said through clenched teeth.
They couldn't just let this go; they had to get even.
Xu Tianlong stepped forward and addressed Lin Feng, "I'm Xu Tianlong. Let's see what you've got."
"Is this ever going to end?" Lin Feng scratched his ear nonchalantly. "Just come at me. I'll hit you with the same force. If you can take it, you win."
"Don't underestimate me!" Xu Tianlong bellowed. But as he lunged forward, he was sent flying.
Lin Feng didn't waste a moment and knocked out his opponent with swift precision.
He had wondered if Xu Tianlong had some special skill, but it turned out he was just a bit tougher than most, barely making the grade as a punching bag.
"Tianlong!" Hee Chenguang's eyes reddened as he saw his teammate hurled through the air, and he charged at Lin Feng.
But Lin Feng was quicker. Before Hee Chenguang could advance, Lin Feng closed the distance with perfect-level speed and sent him flying with a punch.
As the dust settled, Lin Feng was back where he started, leaving only a trail of afterimages. Hee Chenguang felt a sharp pain, his body suddenly weightless, and then, as fate would have it, he landed right on Xu Tianlong's forehead.
Tang Xinyi was doing alright. Though she was internally stunned, she had grown accustomed to such displays. With her mouth slightly agape, she gazed at Lin Feng with unabashed admiration.
For the other members of the Red Cell, those brief minutes seemed to stretch into years.
What they witnessed was as incredulous as a scene from a movie. Their expressions said it all, their mouths agape in utter shock.
Five people, five punches—no fancy tricks, just straightforward blows that had the Red Cell's finest reeling in disorientation.
Was he even human?
"How about it? Are you convinced now?" Lin Feng spoke from a position of superiority, clearly unimpressed by the Red Cell members. He had never truly regarded them from the start.
With perfect-level speed, divine-level strength, and combat skills bordering on invincible, these people were simply inviting trouble by challenging him.
"Who are you, and what did you do before this?" Xu Tianlong demanded, clutching his chest as he stood up.
"Why should I answer to a bunch of losers?" Lin Feng retorted with a sneer.
At that moment, Tang Xinyi stepped forward. "Since Lin Feng has already bested you in combat, let him proceed to report in. There's no need for further complications."
But the five men from Red Cell were desperate, unwilling to let Lin Feng off the hook. Without regaining their honor, how could they face anyone in the Wolf Fang?
Hee Chenguang protested, "No way! The hand-to-hand combat is over, but there's still marksmanship. Let's see who can shoot more accurately!"
"Marksmanship..." Tang Xinyi glanced at Lin Feng, momentarily at a loss for words.
Challenging Lin Feng to a shooting contest was tantamount to suicide. The man could hit a bullseye from a hundred steps away with an enemy in tow. His marksmanship was as invincible as his combat skills. Competing against him in either was an exercise in futility.
She couldn't fathom what the Red Cell team was thinking, seemingly intent on their own discomfort.
Still, this promised to be quite the spectacle.
"You're sure you want to challenge him in marksmanship?"
Lin Feng gave Hee Chenguang a peculiar look. It was less about helplessness and more about pity.
He was somewhat concerned that he might demoralize these special forces soldiers to the point of them giving up entirely.
After all, his marksmanship was world-class. Saying he could hit a target a hundred steps away with unerring accuracy was an understatement; he could even pinpoint targets by sound alone.
With such prowess, what could the Red Cell possibly bring against him? Even using their heads would be futile.
"We're certain!"
Hee Chenguang declared confidently, but then he noticed something off in the expressions of Lin Feng and Tang Xinyi. However, he didn't dwell on it.
Their combat skills had already been a source of embarrassment; now, they had to redeem themselves through their shooting abilities.
"Let's skip the marksmanship; it's not that interesting."
Lin Feng shrugged, indicating his desire to decline. The idea just seemed tedious to him.
