C2 Ancient Tomb Fortuitous Encounter
Zhang Xiaojian still did not understand what happened as he felt his body rolling down a slope. He wanted to grab onto something, but everything around him was bare and there was nothing around.
An earthquake, a landslide, in that moment, Zhang Xiaojian fearfully opened his eyes wide, trying to see what was happening, but, he could not see what was happening around him, he could not see anything.
The air was suffused with a suffocating dust that was extremely uncomfortable to the throat, causing him to cough violently.
Bang, his head knocked against something, and his body finally stopped. After a moment of dizziness, Zhang Xiaojian unwillingly closed his eyes.
The entire world quieted down. No one knew how much time had passed, or whether it had been one or two days …
When Zhang Xiaojian opened his eyes in a daze, he felt pain all over his body, and couldn't pinpoint where he was.
Two huge rocks were placed together, forming a space that could hold him.
He couldn't open his eyes because of the glimmer of light. It took him a while to get used to the sunlight.
When he saw the light of day again, he felt much more at ease.
A flight of broken, broken, and broken stone steps extended from his feet into the distance. Sunlight spread across the stone steps, giving off a very intimate feeling.
His arm wasn't broken and he could move it, but his legs couldn't. It was a heart-wrenching pain.
His lips were cracked and dry. The blood on his head had congealed, mixed with the dust, turning into a dark red color.
He didn't know how long he had been in this damned place. He punched the ground and wanted to curse, but waves of pain made him cry out. His dry throat didn't emit any sound.
With great difficulty, he turned his head and saw a very ugly looking ring lying there.
It was very dark and he couldn't tell what it was made of. If he threw this ring on the street, no one would pick it up.
Blood dripped from his hand and dripped onto the ring. The red blood did not flow down the ring, but seeped into it.
He struggled to throw this terrifying object, but he suddenly realized that he couldn't move his hand. His left hand couldn't move it, neither could his right hand. The only thing that could move about was his eyes.
Because the ring had absorbed his blood, it had already turned into a bright red colour, like a transparent ruby.
Upon closer inspection, it seemed to be a huge bronze cauldron, with words flowing rapidly on it.
Just as he was about to focus and see what it was, a huge attraction force came over from the ring. Zhang Xiaojian felt that his body had instantly become light and light, and fainted.
When he opened his eyes again, he found that he was in an empty place. He couldn't see too far out, around 100 square meters. If he wanted to look further out, he wouldn't be able to see it.
The green grass beneath his feet was green, and there were even flowers that he could not identify blooming.
It was extremely tranquil. Even though it was not very far away, it gave people the feeling that it was a small courtyard for an otherworldly expert to cultivate.
Beside him was an ancient bronze cauldron, almost a meter tall. Inside was water. It was crystal clear and there was a faint fragrance coming from it.
Not too far away, there was a stone table and a bluestone chair. On the table, there were three books. There was no name on them, so Zhang Xuan casually flipped through them, but there were no words on them.
Zhang Xiaojian frowned, he looked around again. Ten metres away, there was a milky-white fog, he could not see what was inside.
He walked to the edge of the mist and tried to enter, but he couldn't. It was as if someone had cast a spell on him.
A crisp laughter came out from the depths of the fog, making Zhang Xiaojian feel creeped out.
"Who is it?" Zhang Xiaojian asked.
The laughter suddenly stopped, and the surroundings returned to silence.
There was no one, it must be an illusion, Zhang Xiaojian frowned.
"They call me the Overlord, the Overlord." A very pleasant voice.
Zhang Xiaojian felt that this girl must be peerlessly beautiful.
"Are you a deity?" Zhang Xiaojian asked with his eyes wide open.
"I am a princess of Ancient Moon Country." The girl giggled.
searched through the entire Ancient Moon Country in his mind. He had never heard of a nation like this one.
"There are two choices. The first is to accompany me here for the rest of my life.
Second, I will help you earn money, and you will be the master here to take me out of the ancient tomb. " "Yes," she said.
Eternal life? Zhang Xiaojian repeated in his heart. It wouldn't be a bad thing if he didn't die with a peerless beauty, but if he could earn money …
Zhang Xiaojian hesitated for a long time before choosing the latter.
"But, I am trapped here. How am I going to get out?" Zhang Xiaojian was pitiful.
A light purple light flashed and a glass of water appeared out of nowhere on the table.
"Just drink it." Qingguo giggled.
The water had a faint fragrance, just like the water in the bronze cauldron.
"Goddess Sis, this can't be the water from the bronze cauldron, right?" Zhang Xiaojian asked.
"Yes, but it's not ordinary water. It was refined by that Five Elements Golden Tripod." "Yes," she said.
Zhang Xiaojian was flabbergasted. How much would such a big guy sell for? Wouldn't he be rich?
As he lifted the cup, he suddenly thought of something. Didn't he say he couldn't move his legs? How could he leave now?
"You came in with a soul." A smug smile.
"I …" Zhang Xiaojian couldn't believe it.
Another wave of laughter came out.
Zhang Xiaojian picked up the cup, and took a sip, a warm feeling rising from within his dantian, and then quickly surrounded his entire body.
After drinking all the remaining water in one go, Zhang Xiaojian felt that the blood in his body was circulating crazily in his big and small cycles.
"You can leave. "We can leave now." She was obviously very happy.
"Get out, how are we going to get out?" Zhang Xiaojian asked, somewhat reluctant to leave.
"If you want to go out, you can." A faint smile.
Zhang Xiaojian thought for a moment and then went out.
He was still lying on the ground, rubbing his eyes.
He no longer felt hungry, but was filled with strength instead.
The wound on his leg was healing at a speed visible to the naked eye, and his bones seemed to be healing continuously.
"Big sister goddess, you're too great." Zhang Xiaojian was telling the truth.
From the ring came the sound of laughter like a cacophony.
After about half an hour, Zhang Xiaojian tried to move his legs again, but they had already recovered and he seemed to still have more strength left.
"Where the hell did grandpa go?" Zhang Xiaojian made a face.
Who knew that before his boastful voice could fade away, another rumbling sound could be heard. For a time, rubble flew everywhere.
