C33 Divine Body Forging Spell.

At dawn, a blanket of morning mist enveloped Sword Wing Peak.

Occasionally, the soft chirps of cute Demon Birds could be heard as they flitted across the sky.

Jiang Su had managed only four hours of sleep when the system's mechanical voice roused him.

Mission issued.

Location: First Devil Sect's hot springs.

Time limit: None.

Registration Reward: The ancient Body Cultivator's Immortal Book, "Divine Body Forging Spell."

Jiang Su snapped to alertness, his drowsiness vanishing.

The Divine Body Forging Spell?

Legend had it that gods and devils, amidst primordial chaos, devised a cultivation technique. Mastery of this technique bestowed upon the practitioner the formidable physique of gods and devils!

The more advanced the cultivation, the mightier the body!

Cultivators beyond the Nascent Infant Stage could render their bodies invincible!

Crucially, this ancient tome imposed no cultivation level restrictions on its readers. It was perfectly suited for Wang Tian, who was in the Body Forging Stage!

Jiang Su had planned to search the Devil Sect's library for body cultivation techniques for Wang Tian to study. He couldn't afford to let Wang Tian's progress stall before he might reconsider.

Now, the Divine Body Forging Spell had arrived at an opportune moment.

Elder Chiu Yue's spirit breath was absent; the elder likely hadn't returned. Silence reigned outside, and Wang Tian was still asleep.

The day was still young.

Jiang Su dressed swiftly and, after freshening up, he instructed the system, "System, take me to the Devil Sect's hot springs."

"Understood, I am guiding you now."

As the early morning unfolded, many diligent disciples of the First Devil Sect had already begun their focused cultivation. A white figure soared through the sky on a sword, drawing envious gazes from numerous Sword Cultivators.

This figure originated from Sword Wing Peak, yet unexpectedly, he was the elder's Head Disciple. While his exact potential was unknown to them, and despite Elder Chiu Yue's favor, his cultivation level was merely at the Qi Sensing Stage.

In the Cultivation World, the privilege of sword-riding flight was reserved for Sword Cultivators of the Golden Core Stage and higher.

Jiang Su soared through the air with his Sword-riding Flight, swiftly reaching the Devil Sect's hot springs.

"Your check-in is complete. The Divine Body Forging Spell has been added to your storage space."

He found himself in a courtyard, its center graced by a sprawling hot spring, partitioned into several areas by artificial stones, with steam rising continuously from the water.

Plum blossoms thrived around the hot spring, their beauty unfettered by the summer, their branches greedily absorbing the mist from the air.

It seemed as though, despite the changing seasons of the world, nothing here would ever alter.

The courtyard was deserted, save for the gentle dance of curtains in the breeze along the walkways.

Gazing at the corridor near the hot spring, a corridor that felt strangely familiar, a thought struck Jiang Su.

This was the location of the Female Ruler's private chambers.

Yet, they were a good distance from the hot spring.

Since Murong Yan, the Female Ruler, had taken him by force from the Carefree Sect to the First Devil Sect, he had spent some time living here, and the memories lingered in his mind.

"Descend."

A voice, icy yet melodious, cut through the air.

In the next moment, a gust of wind struck the sword beneath Jiang Su's feet, and he found himself sliding downwards, plunging into the hot spring.

Truth be told, he had achieved the unity of Man and Sword as One. The gust was gentle, devoid of any lethal intent; he could have easily maintained his stance.

But his focus had faltered.

Water splashed, showering the nearby plum blossoms and making them appear even more vibrant.

Jiang Su's damp hair clung to his face, and the surrounding mist blurred his vision.

A pair of delicate, fair feet came into view as the woman approached Jiang Su, who was now submerged in the hot spring.

Murong Yan was clad in a simple white muslin dress, her hair slightly disheveled, suggesting she was about to enjoy the hot spring herself.

He realized then that he had inadvertently interrupted his wife's private moment.

Jiang Su spared Murong Yan only a brief glance before turning away, his slight movement sending ripples across the hot spring's surface.

Murong Yan's laughter bloomed as she watched him, her beauty outshining even the plum blossoms in full bloom. Yet, Jiang Su missed her smile entirely.

Inwardly, he pleaded with the system, "System, can we strike a deal? If there's a check-in task involving my wife, could you give me a heads-up?"

The system, at a loss for words, retorted, "If I tipped you off, how would I ever spur on your romance?"

Jiang Su, oblivious to the system's response, stammered, "I stumbled in here by mistake. I'll be on my way now."

"You've mastered Sword-riding Flight already. Your aptitude is quite impressive," Murong Yan murmured, her voice barely above a whisper, yet Jiang Su caught every word.

Had his wife just complimented him? His ears blushed a fiery red. Any male cultivator in the Cultivation World would be ecstatic to earn even a sliver of praise from the Empress of Devil Sect.

"Farewell," he said, and with no further ado, Jiang Su grasped his sword, leapt from the hot spring, and soared away on a blade of wind.

Murong Yan made no move to stop him.

The morning chill should have seeped into his bones, especially with his wet clothes and the brisk Sword-riding Flight, but Jiang Su felt an inexplicable warmth instead.

This check-in mission was deviously cunning.

Back in the storage space, the little Kylin was a bundle of energy, bounding about and toppling the elixirs Jiang Su had stored. It even flung some of the top-tier immortal pills to the floor.

Jiang Su pondered whether to gather more Sky Heart Grass. The little Kylin was a handful, but the herb could soothe it for a good while—a truly beneficial item.

He lifted the little Kylin out of the storage space, and it seemed to sense his intentions, baring its teeth and yowling in protest.

"I am the Demonic Blood Kylin! How dare you treat me this way?" it seemed to say, though it looked more pitiful than intimidating, more comical than fearsome.

Upon his return to Sword Wing Peak, Jiang Su found Wang Tian tidying up. Wang Tian's excitement was palpable at the sight of Jiang Su's return.

Wang Tian noticed Jiang Su was soaked through and called out, "Jiang, where did you go to train this morning? Why are your clothes all wet?" He then spotted the little Kylin cradled in Jiang Su's arms and questioned, "Did you let it out?"

Jiang Su headed straight for Wang Tian, handed off the little Kylin to him, and murmured, "I'm going to change into some dry clothes."

With that, he dashed into the room on the left, leaving Wang Tian and the fussy little Kylin exchanging puzzled looks.

Jiang was acting so oddly today.

He had left early in the morning, and now he was back, his clothes completely drenched. The little Kylin appeared to be upset. What on earth had happened?

Could it be that Jiang had finally found a woman he was interested in?

Had he gone on a date this morning?
