C50 He Finally Knew Wang Tian's Past.

After Wang Tian finished eating, he noticed Jiang still engrossed in his book, which stirred a twinge of envy within him. He was eager to advance to the Foundation Stage because then, he wouldn't need to eat; cultivation alone would suffice.

He realized he needed to make a breakthrough soon. The Body Cultivator books from Master Yang Shuang were still somewhat of a mystery to him. With Jiang buried in his own reading, Wang Tian was reluctant to interrupt too much—Jiang had already done so much for him.

"I almost forgot to give this to you," Jiang Su said, setting aside his book to retrieve the plan he had written for Wang Tian the previous night from a corner of the desk and handing it over.

Wang Tian scanned the document. As a child, he had the good fortune of living with an old chef who had struggled with learning due to a lack of formal education in his youth. Consequently, the chef had taught Wang Tian to read, which explained how he could understand the text despite never having attended school or been under the tutelage of a master.

Instantly, Wang Tian recognized the plan as a comprehensive strategy tailored to his abilities by Jiang. If he adhered to it strictly, he could master the Divine Body Forging Spell in just one month.

"Jiang, I can't thank you enough!"

Jiang Su chuckled, then inquired, "Why do you harbor such animosity toward Rong Yu? You've just met him."

Caught off guard, Wang Tian replied, "Jiang, even though it's our first encounter, I can't stand him. Maybe we were enemies in a past life."

He offered an awkward smile after speaking, while Jiang Su's skeptical gaze lingered on him, clearly unconvinced by the excuse.

The situation would have been exceedingly uncomfortable had there been a third person there.

With a forced grin, Wang Tian added, "Well, the truth is, Jiang, I wasn't always this heavy. I was quite slim before. But as a child, I was whipped by the son of a powerful figure from the Devil Domain. I'm not sure what injury I sustained, but I started gaining weight afterward. That young master, much like Rong Yu, had an air of refinement about him."

The room lapsed into a heavy silence.

"Who was it?"

Jiang Su's voice carried a chill that seemed to lower the temperature of the room itself.

Wang Tian was typically upbeat, but his words now came with an unnatural halt, signaling a deep-seated pain.

Seeing Jiang's stern demeanor, Wang Tian couldn't hide his alarm. He quickly assured, "Jiang, I'll dedicate myself to my cultivation and confront him myself."

Besides, tangling with that power from the Devil Domain was no small matter.

Understanding Wang Tian's reluctance to name names, Jiang Su let the matter rest.

Revenge was a dish Wang Tian had to serve on his own.

"Very well, you must focus on your cultivation. Let's head to Dangerless Peak."

Wang Tian's face lit up. "Great! I get to ride on Jiang's sword again!"

"However, I won't be able to perform Sword-riding Flight for a while, not with Rong Yu around."

Wang Tian's response was laced with resentment. "One day, I'll send him packing!"

Together, they made their way to Dangerless Peak.

As they traveled, throngs of female cultivators cheered for their Eldest Senior Brother.

Wang Tian chattered away, while Jiang Su simultaneously conversed with the system.

"System, send me the profiles of the Ten Devil Domains' Domain Lords."

"Understood, the information is now in your mind."

Jiang Su scanned the data on the Domain Lords. Each had either children or disciples. Pinpointing Wang Tian's tormentor wouldn't be easy.

When the time was right, Wang Tian would surely confide in him.

He noted that the Domain Lords' peak cultivation level was the Late Period of the Nascent Infant Stage. Jiang Su knew his next steps.

In one year, he aimed to advance to the Nascent Infant Stage and stand toe-to-toe with one of these Domain Lords!

Wang Tian would handle his own adversary, while Jiang Su would take on the Domain Lord backing him.

"Jiang, what's on your mind? Shall we ascend the peak?"

Jiang Su's faint smile returned as Wang Tian's voice anchored him back to the present. "Let's proceed."

Despite the midday sun, Lin Tian stood in the courtyard's open space, soaking up the rays without feeling the heat. Before him lay an array of intricate formations.

He paced back and forth, clearly waiting for someone.

From the base of the mountain, he spotted two figures making their way up. One was clad in white, the other in gray – they were Jiang Su and Wang Tian.

Lin Tian had been waiting for them for quite some time.

He stepped beyond the formations and positioned himself at the mountain's base to greet Jiang Su and Wang Tian.

"Hello, Martial Uncle Lin."

"Hello, Elder Lin Tian!"

Lin Tian passed the pen to Jiang Su with a hint of reluctance in his eyes.

Today might be the last time he ever held this pen, and after having used it, no other pen in the Cultivation World could compare.

Jiang Su carefully placed the pen into a specially prepared box in his sleeve, then transferred it into his storage space.

Looking up, Jiang Su caught the intense gaze of Lin Tian and felt an uneasy premonition.

"Could you help me figure out how to unlock these formations?" Lin Tian asked, pulling Jiang Su toward the formations without delay.

Jiang Su gave them a cursory glance. Some were from the Archean Array Records, while others were beyond his understanding. But why was Lin Tian asking for his help with these formations?

With a sigh, he crouched down and scrutinized the complex runes. The symbols swirled in his mind, and within seconds, he discerned a method to dismantle the formations.

Preferring not to use a pen, he simply pointed at the key areas of the formation with his finger. Lin Tian immediately followed suit, writing down Jiang Su's instructions with the pen.

Jiang took on the role of a teacher, guiding Lin Tian through the process of unraveling the formations – a serene tableau.

Meanwhile, Wang Tian ventured off to Dangerless Peak on his own.

Wang Tian didn't find it odd, in fact, he considered it quite normal.

Had there been a fourth witness, they would have been astounded. Lin Tian was one of the four elders of the First Devil Sect!

And here he was, seeking advice from an Inner Sect disciple!

Yet, both the disciple and his friend maintained their composure, seeing nothing out of the ordinary.

Jiang Su was familiar with certain formations, yet he found himself unable to dismantle them. He had considered consulting Shangguan Yue, but Shangguan Yue was deep in slumber.

Waking him risked his ire, so Jiang Su refrained.

Meanwhile, Lin Tian expressed his gratitude to Jiang Su with great enthusiasm before diving back into his study of the formation.

His concentration was palpable—a testament to his prowess as a Talisman Cultivator, utterly enchanted by the intricacies of formations and runes.

As for Jiang Su, he stood in the breeze, embarking on the cultivation of a new sword technique. Despite lending a hand to Lin Tian, he received no compensation for his efforts.
