C87 Jiang Su Was like a God That Had Descended to Save His Junior Brothers.

"What do we do now? This Secret Realm is horrifying. Xi Junrong is only in the Body Forging Stage. What chance does he have against those vines?"

Murong Qi struggled to maintain his composure. Lee Shiyan was unreliable, which meant Murong Qi had to depend on himself to locate Xi Junrong.

"Follow me."

They took off in the direction opposite the menacing vines. The moment the Barrier Bead was withdrawn, the vines resumed their wild assault.

It wasn't until they reached a certain area that the vines ceased their pursuit.

Lee Shiyan was gasping for breath. It had been ages since he'd experienced such terror. He told Murong Qi, "We can stop. The vines aren't following us anymore."

After catching his breath, Lee Shiyan surveyed their surroundings.

They found themselves in a starkly different forest than before. The previous area had at least boasted withered leaves, but here, only bare branches remained.

A crow with blood-red eyes swooped past the branch tips. The sight of its eyes sent a shiver down Lee Shiyan's spine.

"Is that crow alive or dead?" Lee Shiyan wondered aloud.

Murong Qi, with his superior cultivation, frowned and paled, positioning himself protectively in front of Lee Shiyan.

They were safe from the vines for the moment, but it was clear that something far more sinister lurked in this place.

"The fog's thickening again. Hold onto my clothes," Murong Qi commanded.

Lee Shiyan nodded and clutched the hem of Murong Qi's garment.

Truth be told, Lee Shiyan couldn't fathom why the three of them had ventured into this Hidden Space. One at the Body Forging Stage and two at the Early Foundation Stage – what bad luck they had.

Lee Shiyan contemplated penning a final message, so future explorers of this Hidden Space would know that a remarkably handsome Fire Spiritual Root cultivator had once passed through.

Then, out of nowhere, he heard his name being called.

"Lee Shiyan."

"It sounds like Xi Junrong," Lee Shiyan thought. "Is he okay?"

Lee Shiyan nearly whipped his head around on impulse, but Murong Qi forcefully redirected it. Murong Qi's grip was so strong that Lee Shiyan felt his head might be twisted right off.

Without a word, Murong Qi pulled Lee Shiyan along, quickening his pace as the surrounding fog grew denser. Eerie voices trailed after Lee Shiyan, their calls growing increasingly bizarre and unsettling.

The sounds morphed into the chilling ring of metal, heightening the tension for both Lee Shiyan and Murong Qi.

As the fog thickened to the point where Lee Shiyan could no longer make out Murong Qi's figure, the voices behind him escalated into hysteria, occasionally breaking into mocking laughter.

A shiver ran down Lee Shiyan's spine, and a dreadful thought crossed his mind: "Has Xi Junrong been devoured by the creature behind me?" The mere possibility left him feeling a profound sense of despair—as if life itself had lost all meaning at the loss of a living soul.

If Xi Junrong could have heard Lee Shiyan's inner turmoil, he would have reassured him, "I'm still alive. Don't jinx me."

Meanwhile, outside the Water Mirror, the air was heavy with solemnity.

"Elder Chiu Yue, all qualified disciples from the Outer Sect are assembled," announced Hsu Feng, one of the four black-clad disciples from the sect's entrance and the leader of the Outer Sect disciples.

A line of young men and women, all clad in somber attire, stood behind Hsu Feng.

Jiang Su took his place beside Hsu Feng, with Yang Tian and two other disciples of Bai Yih positioned behind him. Shen Yunqing, having been briefed on the situation, had also made her way there swiftly.

"The Inner Sect disciples are ready," she reported.

Shen Yunqing's gaze lingered on Jiang Su's back, filled with unspoken affection. But something seemed to dawn on her, and she quickly reined in her emotions, her eyes betraying a poignant beauty.

She was convinced that Jiang Su, upon learning that someone had ventured into the Hidden Space, would brave any peril to rescue the trapped disciples.

Elder Chiu Yue remained silent, as did Su Wuyou. Only Bai Yih's eyes sparkled with an eager glow, unnoticed by the others in their midst.

When Bai Yih called out "Lin Tian," it seemed to snap Lin Tian out of a trance. Without hesitation, Lin Tian bent down and swiftly drew a formation on the ground. The formation glowed with a pale blue light, spreading out before him.

In mere moments, Jiang Su and his companions were transported to the Myriad Origin Secret Realm.

Then, the massive Water Mirror before them shattered, its fragments falling to the ground and leaving a deep wound in the hearts of all present.

"What's going on?" Su Wuyou exclaimed in shock.

"Why did the Water Mirror suddenly break? I must go to the Domain Lord Palace and report today's events to the Female Ruler myself."

Elder Chiu Yue's complexion blanched. The thought of any harm coming to Jiang Su was unbearable; he couldn't even fathom the consequences. With the Female Ruler in mind, he forced himself to stay calm.

As Jiang Su found himself enveloped in fog, he was certain these three young men were the ones he was sent to find.

Clutching his Life Sword, Jiang Su's silhouette flickered through the mist, which was proving to be a nuisance.

He extended his hand, channeling the vast spiritual energy within him to his palm. With a single sweep, the fog was scattered by the force of his potent spiritual energy, clearing his vision significantly.

Using his divine sense, Jiang Su detected Murong Qi and Lee Shiyan close by. He closed his eyes, his consciousness roving through the powerful sea within.

He had located them.

Eyes opening once more, he executed the Shadowless Step and in an instant, was standing beside Lee Shiyan and Murong Qi. His arrival caused the dense fog encircling them to thin out.

The pair sensed a spirit breath indicative of the Foundation Stage and initially thought it was a mere illusion. However, upon closer inspection, they were astounded to find Jiang Su standing before them.

The Eldest Senior Brother of the Devil Sect, the prodigious Jiang Su with a Thunder Spiritual Root, had come!

They were actually going to be rescued!

Seeing Jiang Su descend before him like a deity, Lee Shiyan was overwhelmed with emotion, barely able to contain his excitement.

Jiang Su is my savior! I want to live. Please, take me from this place! Lee Shiyan silently pleaded.

"Lee Shiyan." Just then, another voice echoed from behind him.

Jiang Su was positioned directly across from the pair, giving him a crystal-clear view of the object. The sight was so revolting he felt nauseous.

Shangguan Yue caught a glimpse of the item and nearly retched, finding himself at a loss for words.

As Lee Shiyan approached, Jiang Su issued a stern command: "Stay put."

Shrouded in mist, Lee Shiyan's vision was obscured, but the sound of a blade slicing through the air drew his keen gaze to his right. A dark green sword whistled through the air, targeting something behind him.

Following the sword's thrust, Jiang Su dashed past Lee Shiyan, weaving a formation mid-air. Lee Shiyan spun around to see an ancient golden array materializing. Its brilliance was so intense that it completely scattered the dense fog around them.

"Eldest Senior Brother is incredibly skilled! To think he's mastered an ancient formation while only in the Mid Period of Foundation Stage," Lee Shiyan marveled internally.

Lee Shiyan shook his head, pondering, "Yet, I've heard Eldest Senior Brother isn't a Medical Cultivator and has barely begun his journey as a Sword Cultivator. He truly is a prodigy!"

A mix of awe and envy washed over Lee Shiyan.

As he applauded, his curiosity piqued, Lee Shiyan turned his attention to the mysterious object behind them.
