Shen Ruxue, one of the most hopeful students at Domesticated Beast High School, was notoriously rigorous in her self-discipline.

Even with her spot at the Center First Class College secured, she opted to train in the Lost Jungle to further hone her abilities.

Her ambition was to become a distinguished Beastmaster, not merely to pass an exam.

Ye Fann, however, had different motivations.

His Divine Pet was of meager strength. His visit to the jungle was a last-ditch effort to improve.

"Yet your elf apprentice is merely a Low Rank Class E, and the shadow armors here are a solid Intermediate Class E. Given your circumstances, I'd advise against coming here," she cautioned.

Shen Ruxue wasn't underestimating Ye Fann; it was just that his Divine Pet seemed far too feeble.

It couldn't even meet the basic attack threshold, not to mention taking on a higher-level shadow armor.

"So?"

Ye Fann simply smiled and shrugged it off.

He had no interest in elaborating and instead turned and strode into the fray.

"Why won't you heed my advice?"

Watching Ye Fann's retreating figure, Shen Ruxue felt a surge of anxiety.

They were, after all, classmates. She couldn't stand by and watch Ye Fann walk into certain doom.

Her only hope was to make Ye Fann realize his vulnerability and convince him to retreat when faced with danger.

With that thought, she summoned her Divine Pet and followed him.

Minutes later, deep within the Lost Jungle, amid the clanking of armor, Ye Fann finally encountered his mission's target: the shadow armor.

It may have appeared as an empty suit of armor, but it was animated by a powerful psychic force.

Clutching a massive broadsword, it exuded an aura of intimidation.

"Gale, attack!"

At Ye Fann's command, Gale sprang into action.

Drawing its sword, Gale launched an attack on the shadow armor.

Gale's agility clearly surpassed that of the shadow armor.

The shadow armor's broadsword was bisected by Gale's swift strike.

Without giving it a moment to react, Gale delivered a swift horizontal slash.

The shadow armor was cleaved in two and collapsed to the ground.

"Oh my God!"

"Am I hallucinating?"

Shen Ruxue was utterly astounded by the sight before her.

Could it be that the elf apprentice, ranked lowest in strength, had just slain a Class E Intermediate shadow armor?

The Divine Pet, once deemed the weakest, had effortlessly vanquished a labyrinth monster that even seasoned Beastmasters found challenging.
