"Is that all?" Gao Mu was utterly astonished.

"That was too quick! Has my level not even gone up by one?"

Pondering this, Gao Mu accessed the system to check his skills.

Upon opening it, he was astounded.

"What's happening here?"

He had assumed his language skills might only advance by one level, but they had skyrocketed to level 999.

An incredibly surreal sensation kept surfacing in Gao Mu's mind.

Ten minutes later, he surveyed the completed papers, dumbstruck.

"I've actually finished an exam paper in just ten minutes!"

Gao Mu then began to compare the answers with his textbook.

Aside from the essays and reading comprehension, which he couldn't check, everything else was correct.

"I'm on the verge of success."

After some thought, Gao Mu collected the remaining language papers and tackled them with determination.

He breezed through the five papers in under an hour.

Upon review, his answers were all correct, essays and reading comprehension aside.

Gao Mu inhaled deeply, steadying his exhilarated emotions.

Truth be told, the sensation was exhilarating.

"Based on the minimum, I have the opportunity to level up once a day. That means I can level up again tomorrow!"

With this thought, Gao Mu's spirits lifted.

With one month left until the college entrance exam, he had ample time to max out his skills in all subjects.

Contented, Gao Mu drifted off into a blissful sleep.

The following morning, he awoke.

The instant his eyes opened, he replicated the previous day's method and summoned the system.

"This is real; I'm not dreaming!"

"This doesn't feel real." He gave himself a firm slap.

Standing in the bathroom, Gao Mu stared into the mirror at his increasingly lively eyes and made a silent vow: he would astonish those who had once underestimated him.

"I'll make them all take notice of me!" Gao Mu declared, settling back into his seat.

"Looks like the political science test is on Monday."

In high school, Gao Mu had opted for the humanities track, which meant he studied political science, history, and geography in addition to language, math, and English.

After some thought, he decided to use his one-time upgrade opportunity on political science.

"Ding! AFK complete!"

With the sound of the system notification, Gao Mu reopened the skill interface.

Seeing the '999' next to political science, he felt an unparalleled sense of satisfaction.

He was equally eager for Monday, anticipating the astonished looks from his peers after the political science test.
