C102 In the Crowd of Famous Ladies Dong's Heart Ached

"Young Master Liang, the ladies are all set!"

Little Yang said with a grin, leading the way.

He had the air of someone who knew how to handle a crowd, his eyes darting around alertly.

He guided the group forward.

Lin Dong, with Liang Yu by his side, made his way to the party area at the back.

The main hall was bustling with people drinking and conversing, but the real action was further in.

Music filled the air, and numerous men and women danced to the beat, clearly enjoying themselves.

Upon their arrival, Lin Dong and Liang Yu were greeted by the sight of beautiful, giggling girls.

Their eyes sparkled with mischief as they scanned the room; if they spotted a man they fancied, they'd approach him with beaming smiles, eager to strike up a conversation.

The men, for their part, were all smiles, toasting and chatting with the ladies, occasionally getting closer, which only made the laughter grow louder.

Lin Dong immediately recognized the caliber of these women.

They were all high-society ladies brought in for the occasion.

Whether they were truly elite or not didn't matter; what mattered was that each one was strikingly attractive and vivacious.

"Young Master Liang has arrived!"

Little Yang, standing next to Liang Yu and Lin Dong, called out.

The merry crowd turned their attention to them, greeting Liang Yu with cheerful shouts.

"Hello, Young Master Liang!"

"We've been waiting for you, Young Master Liang!"

"Come have a drink with us, Young Master Liang!"

It was clear that Liang Yu was held in high esteem by everyone.

With a wave of his hand, Liang Yu silenced the crowd.

Then, with a smile, he pulled Lin Dong closer and announced, "Ladies and gentlemen! Today, I have the honor of introducing a very special guest! My big brother, Lin Dong! Make sure you all remember him. From now on, when you see my big brother, show him the utmost respect! Otherwise, I, Liang Yu, will not be pleased!"

In an instant, all eyes were on Lin Dong.

Dressed plainly, he had initially been overlooked by the crowd, who had assumed he was just another underling.

But now, with Liang Yu's introduction, it was clear that Lin Dong's status was far from ordinary.

Everyone's eyes were wide with curiosity, wondering what kind of clout Lin Dong had to make a figure like Liang Yu call him "big brother." Lin Dong simply offered a light chuckle and a nod in response to the attention, without further ado.

Liang Yu then burst into laughter, urging Lin Dong to grab some drinks and encouraging everyone to keep the party going. "We've got to live it up today!" he declared. With that, the festivities resumed.

At that point, the unattached girls flocked around, calling out to Liang Yu with affectionate nicknames. Some set their sights on Lin Dong, sweetly cooing "Dong" in a way that almost overwhelmed him. Eventually, Liang Yu had to escort him out of the throng of admirers.

Seeing Lin Dong's reaction, Liang Yu chuckled and said, "Big brother, you'll get used to scenes like this. Soon enough, it'll be second nature to you, haha!" Lin Dong just smiled, noncommittal.

"Young Master Liang, Young Master Li is looking for you," Jin Ya whispered to Liang Yu.

Liang Yu's eyes snapped open. He glanced at Lin Dong and said, "Big brother, I'll be right back."

"Go ahead, I'll entertain myself. No worries," Lin Dong replied.

"Alright!" With that, Liang Yu, Jin Ya, and a few others departed.

Watching them leave, Lin Dong surmised that this so-called Young Master Li must be on par with Liang Yu; otherwise, Liang Yu wouldn't have reacted with such urgency.

Now alone, Lin Dong took his wine glass and settled onto a nearby bench.

"Dong?" A sweet voice called out.

Lin Dong looked up to see a girl with wavy hair standing next to him. She held a glass of red wine and was dressed in a light blue, sequined gown with a plunging neckline that showcased her figure.

Lin Dong, not particularly fond of such forwardness, nodded politely and said, "Hello."

His tone was flat, a subtlety that most would pick up as disinterest. Yet, the girl, seemingly oblivious to Lin Dong's reticence, smiled and moved in closer, bending forward slightly. "Aren't you bored on your own, Dong? My name is Hee Lulu. How about we chat?"

Lin Dong caught a glimpse of her and couldn't help but click his tongue in amazement. "My goodness," he thought, "Hee Lulu truly lives up to her name!"

She seemed like a force not just anyone could handle!

Just then, Hee Lulu let out a small yelp and sat down next to Lin Dong.

With eyes as soft as water, she gazed at him and said, "Dong, my chest suddenly aches. Could you check it for me? Oh, it's really quite painful!"
