C126 The Service Is Not Bad Let the Person in Charge Come

Lin Dong suddenly turned his attention to Lin Ruobing.

He hadn't expected Lin Ruobing to be the first to speak up.

He had assumed she would remain silent, given her icy demeanor.

The lobby manager glanced at Lin Dong with a curious expression and said, "Alright, sir and miss, please head to the second floor. Someone will be there to greet you!"

"Okay."

Lin Ruobing nodded and ascended to the second floor with Lin Dong.

Watching them depart, the lobby manager couldn't help but express his envy, "Bringing such a beautiful girlfriend to enjoy the facilities, that young man is truly fortunate!"

Upon reaching the second floor, a smiling waitress was already waiting for them.

"Welcome, guests. Your private room is ready. Please follow me," she greeted them cheerfully.

Leading the way, she set the pace for Lin Dong and Lin Ruobing, who followed without a care in the world.

The experience was as pleasant as a breath of spring air, utterly seamless.

Lin Dong felt particularly at ease.

For a guest seeking enjoyment, the seamless service provided by the staff was crucial.

By this measure, the establishment lived up to its reputation as a renowned entertainment venue in Jiangyang City.

Lin Dong was quite pleased.

Turning to Lin Ruobing, he inquired, "You seem to know this place well. Do you come here often?"

Lin Ruobing glanced at him sideways but remained silent, maintaining her cool facade.

Her demeanor left Lin Dong feeling a bit embarrassed.

He thought to himself that he should have kept her ID card; that way, he'd have something to hold over her.

She wouldn't dare treat him this way then!

They arrived at the private room shortly after.

The waitress gestured gracefully and announced, "Here we are, guests!"

She then proceeded to open the door for them.

Inside was a cozy room, small but fully equipped with a sofa, a bar, a karaoke TV, and various other amenities, including a private bathroom.

The decor was on the darker side, yet it managed not to feel oppressive.

Lin Dong stepped inside, looked around, and nodded in approval, "Nice place."

"Sir, what can I get for you?"

The waiter inquired, presenting an elegant electronic menu for Lin Dong to peruse.

"Alright, I'll take a dozen beers, a platter of snacks and fruit, and two bottles of XO."

Lin Dong ordered without a second thought.

He didn't bother to check the prices; after all, he was the owner. Why worry about the cost when indulging in his own establishment?

"Sure thing."

The waitress flashed a smile and went to fetch the items.

Once she was out of sight, Lin Dong reclined on the sofa with a sigh of relief, his tense nerves soothed by the couch's softness.

Lin Ruobing, arms folded, stood beside him and remarked, "You came here to check on your business, yet here you are lounging around. Why didn't you ask the waitress to summon the manager?"

"Why bother?" Lin Dong chuckled. "You've booked a private room for us. It would be rude not to enjoy it, especially after you've gone to such lengths."

"I'm not here to waste time, or else I might as well leave!"

Lin Ruobing responded icily.

"Hey, don't go—I was just kidding! Besides, you promised to accompany me tonight. How can you think of leaving before we've finished what we came for?"

Lin Dong reached out and instinctively grasped Ruobing's hand, an entirely reflexive gesture.

Feeling the warmth of Lin Dong's palm, Ruobing stiffened immediately.

She bit her lip and stepped back, saying, "Let go of me."

"Oh, my apologies, I got carried away. Please, have a seat."

Lin Dong invited her with a smile, patting the space beside him, seemingly oblivious to the inappropriateness of his earlier action.

Initially reluctant, Ruobing found herself sitting down, somehow drawn by Lin Dong's smile. The loveseat was designed with a concave center, causing her to unintentionally lean towards Lin Dong, giving the impression of a couple nestled together.

The door opened again, and the waitress returned.

She and her colleagues brought in the fruit, drinks, and other items Lin Dong had ordered.

Once everything was set, she said with a smile, "Everything's been served. Please enjoy!"

As she turned to leave, Lin Dong gestured for her to wait.

"Hey, hold on a moment. Your service has been excellent. Could you please call your manager over? Tell them Lin Dong would like to see them—I'd like to commend you for your work."
