C140 Unwilling Jiang Cheng Contacted the People of Society to Take Revenge

"Brother Cheng, what's our next move? Everyone's looking to you for direction," one of Jiang Cheng's men inquired, standing by his side. This particular subordinate was known for his loyalty to Jiang Cheng.

Jiang Cheng's eyes lost their wild fury as he bit down on his teeth and gripped his fingers tightly. "Everyone head back for now. Keep today's events to yourselves. If word gets out, don't be surprised if I turn on you!" he commanded.

Once he finished, the students with him all nodded in agreement. They then scattered, but as they did, they cast disdainful glances toward Jiang Cheng. He had promised them a good time, yet failed to deliver. Pretending to be generous when he couldn't afford it made him look foolish.

Moreover, he had boastfully claimed he'd use Liu Wenming and Zhou Hengyu to intimidate Lin Dong, demanding Lin Dong kneel and crawl between his legs. But instead, when Lin Dong showed up with backup, Jiang Cheng was the one who ended up kneeling and begging for forgiveness. It was a pitiful sight, even though they all harbored a fear of Lin Dong.

Relieved that they were both okay, Lin Dong said, "You guys head back first and rest up. I'll stay and keep an eye on Tian tonight."
