C239 Quickly Solve the Problem and Suppress His Authority

"Pour it for me!" a thug bellowed, lunging for Lin Dong's neck with an outstretched hand. These street toughs were no strangers to brawling; taking someone down was second nature to them. Lin Dong, with his slight frame, would be like a fish on a chopping block if his neck were caught—completely at their mercy.

As Lin Dong seemed on the verge of being seized, many onlookers turned away, unable to watch him get taken down.

But in that critical moment, Lin Dong remained composed. As the thug's hand reached out, Lin Dong swiftly delivered a kick. Bang! The thud of his foot connecting with the thug's stomach echoed through the air. The assailant, who had nearly grabbed Lin Dong's neck, now bulged his eyes as his body contorted into a C-shape and flew backward. He screamed midair before crashing to the ground.

"Pa Ji!" The gangster hit the pavement.

"Ah! My stomach! Ouch! Oh!" The punk writhed in agony on the ground, his pitiful state catching the eyes of the spectators. Their eyes widened and mouths gaped in shock.

No one had anticipated that Lin Dong, who appeared so frail, could send a burly hooligan flying. Especially since the thug had brandished a short knife—enough to make any ordinary person quake with fear. Yet Lin Dong was not only unafraid but also able to retaliate. That was impressive!

The dramatic turn of events left the crowd dumbfounded. The beautiful girl who had been accosted covered her mouth, her eyes brimming with astonishment.

Just then, another thug snapped to action. "You're asking for it! Take this!" he yelled, lunging at Lin Dong with the knife raised high.

He was close to Lin Dong and moved with swift aggression. The knife quickly made its way to Lin Dong's stomach. But just as it was about to pierce him, the blade halted abruptly. It wasn't that the thug had chosen to stop; Lin Dong had caught his short knife.

Lin Dong anchored himself in a solid horse stance, gripping the spine of the short knife with one hand, effortlessly preventing the thug from making any headway.

"You're really putting your back into it!"

The thug internally bellowed in shock and rage.

He had hoped to take Lin Dong down with a stab, but to his surprise, Lin Dong's strength thwarted his assault.

In that moment, Lin Dong retaliated, landing a heavy slap across the punk's face.

"Ah!"

The hoodlum screamed in agony.

He was promptly knocked to the ground.

Lin Dong had held back, using his less powerful hand; had he used his foot, the thug would have been sent flying long before.

Even so, the impact resonated with the onlookers.

Only then did everyone snap out of their trance!

When Lin Dong had sent the first thug flying, the crowd was stunned.

And before they knew it, Lin Dong had floored another.

His swift and ruthless actions left no room for reaction!

The once-intimidating thug was now just a pitiful wretch wailing on the ground.

Lin Dong casually dusted off his hands and strolled over to the gang's ringleader, hands in his pockets. "Tell me, how do you want to die?" he asked.

His tone was even, yet it bristled with lethal intent.

Lin Dong was no stranger to killing, having faced and defeated opponents of martial prowess, his aura exuding the gravitas of a true master.

These petty thugs stood no chance against Lin Dong's commanding presence.

With the image of Lin Dong taking down two of their own fresh in their minds, the lead thug's heart raced with terror.

With a thud, he dropped to his knees.

Looking up at Lin Dong, he pleaded with reverence, "Big brother, I was wrong. I swear I won't do it again. Please don't hit me; I can't stand the pain!"
