"Ah!" Zhou Huazhi let out a piercing scream. She quickly scrambled to her feet, looking as if she were about to lunge forward. But then she remembered how Lin Dong had knocked her down in the restroom earlier. Suppressing her impulse to retaliate, she ran to Wang Tiancheng, her voice quivering with indignation. "Young Master Wang, can you believe his audacity? He struck me right in front of you. It's not just my face he's slapped; he's practically slapped yours. You simply can't let him get away with this!"

Zhou Huazhi might have had an average appearance, but her talent for stirring up trouble was unparalleled. She could easily snag an Oscar if she took her act to the silver screen!

Wang Tiancheng immediately glared in Lin Dong's direction and said with clenched teeth, "Lin Dong, you've brought this on yourself!" Without hesitation, he gestured and bellowed, "Manager Zhang, call the security guards. Today, I refuse to believe Lin Dong can take on a whole group by himself!"

Manager Zhang's face was a picture of uncertainty. Torn between a major client and his own employer, he was visibly conflicted. Wang Tiancheng, noticing his hesitation, scowled and kicked out at Manager Zhang, who stumbled, nearly falling over.

"You worthless cur! Did you not hear my command? Get moving and call someone!" Wang Tiancheng barked at him.

Manager Zhang felt a surge of resentment. He was a respected figure in this real estate company, a man whose word was law in the sales department. Even if Wang Tiancheng was the heir to Universal Real Estate, this treatment was more than he could stomach. But with his job on the line, he reluctantly started to comply.

"Wait, Manager Zhang, you're not going anywhere," came a calm voice.

Manager Zhang turned to see Lin Dong speaking, hands casually tucked in his pockets, his gaze cool and detached. Manager Zhang's steps halted instinctively.

Wang Tiancheng's eyes bulged with fury as he shouted, "Manager Zhang, are you ignoring my orders in favor of some outsider?"

"Ah, this..."

Manager Zhang's face betrayed a hint of panic; he was at a loss for what to do.

The situation had clearly spiraled out of his control.

"What outsider? He's one of my employees. When I give an order, he follows it," Lin Dong interjected at that moment.

A few sounds later, all eyes in the room shifted to Lin Dong.

Even Han Qingxue, who was by Lin Dong's side, slightly widened her eyes in surprise.

Wang Tiancheng scrutinized Lin Dong, then burst into uproarious laughter.

"You're joking, right, Lin Dong? This is my family's company, and Manager Zhang is my employee. Who do you think you are? Have you lost your mind?" he said between chuckles.

Once he finished, Lin Dong stepped forward and regarded him with a cool gaze, stating, "This may have been your family's property before, but it's not anymore. Now, it belongs to me."

Wang Tiancheng's laughter came to an abrupt halt as he turned his gaze to Lin Dong.

Lin Dong's demeanor remained composed, his eyes resolute, suggesting he wasn't fabricating a story.
