C279 The next Morning Lin Dong Was Blocked at School
"How can I get close to Lin Dong? You're not suggesting I sacrifice myself, are you?"
Nalan Luoluo sniffled unconsciously and said, "That's out of the question. Sure, he's handsome, but he completely overlooks my beauty! I refuse to be nice to him!"
"There's no need for that. Lin Dong is a student at Jiangyang University. You can get in touch with him by becoming a teacher or a student there."
A cold voice emerged from the phone.
"Do I have the option to refuse?" Nalan Luoluo asked, somewhat reluctantly.
"This is the best chance for our family to climb the social ladder. Would you really be content marrying that dimwit from the Wang family?"
At the mention of this, Nalan Luoluo immediately gestured with her hand and said, "Of course not. Fine, I'll do as you say. Arrange the transfer for me, and I'll enroll as a new student in Lin Dong's class."
"Understood."
The person on the other end of the line responded and then hung up.
As Nalan Luoluo listened to the dial tone, she leaned back in her executive chair and gave a soft sniffle before declaring, "Lin Dong, you might not fancy me now, but I'm going to make sure you do! I refuse to believe I can't win you over!"
Her words carried the petulance of a child.
The hotel manager standing nearby was petrified, not daring to even breathe too loudly.
Nalan Luoluo's status was exceedingly high, and even though her words were light, they were somewhat off-key.
But the manager didn't dare to comment further, especially considering the recent events that were fresh in his memory.
Nalan Luoluo's issue was now resolved.
Lin Dong had finished freshening up.
He lay down on the expansive bed.
The presidential suite's bed was incredibly soft, and Lin Dong was almost instantly asleep, thanks in part to the alcohol. During the gathering, Bashan, Lee Tao, and the other members of the Skyfire Motorcycle Club had taken turns offering toasts.
Lin Dong, not a heavy drinker, had consumed little, but it was enough to make him drowsy. By the time he awoke, the sun was high in the sky.
A new day had dawned.
Lin Dong stretched and sat up in bed.
He dressed and moved to the living room.
Once seated, he pressed a bell button next to the sofa.
A crisp, gentle voice rang out, "Good morning, Mr. Lin. Would you like some breakfast?"
The service in the presidential suite was exceptionally attentive, befitting its nightly rate of 7,000 yuan.
Lin Dong replied, "I'll have a simple breakfast, please."
Once he finished speaking, his request was promptly confirmed.
In no time at all, a waiter arrived, pushing a cart laden with a lavish assortment of breakfast items.
After enjoying his meal, Lin Dong headed downstairs to school.
Upon reaching the lobby, he noticed the absence of the charming waitress from the previous evening.
He figured it must be the end of her shift, and she had likely gone home.
Without giving it much thought, he proceeded to the parking lot, started up his Rolls Royce Cullinan, and set off for school.
Exiting the parking lot, a BMW 3 Series approached.
The driver of the BMW came to an abrupt halt at the sight of the Rolls Royce Cullinan, staring in awe as Lin Dong passed by.
After all, he was driving a car worth millions, while his own 3 Series was worth a mere fraction of that. A single scratch could cost more than his car was worth!
Had Lin Dong recognized him, he would have seen the brash nouveau riche man from the night before, who had been flaunting his wealth with two female companions.
Now, as Lin Dong's figure came into view, the man's eyes bulged with shock.
He hadn't expected the driver to be Lin Dong, the same man who had humiliated him the previous night by tossing a hundred thousand yuan in his face.
The man's resentment dissolved in an instant upon seeing Lin Dong behind the wheel of the Rolls Royce Cullinan. Lin Dong's status was no longer a matter of personal annoyance but a stark reminder of the social circles he could not penetrate.
They were simply not in the same league.
Unaware of this brief encounter, Lin Dong focused on reaching the school parking lot.
He parked his car and made his way to class.
Shortly after he departed, a young man emerged ahead of him.
Flanked by four towering and muscular guys, they stood squarely in Lin Dong's path, their gazes brimming with a challenging air.
