"Ms. Zhang, that's not the kind of joke you should be making."

Lin Dong said, looking at Zhang Xinrui.

She suddenly stepped forward, closing the distance between them.

They were now very close, and Lin Dong could clearly see her captivating eyes, delicately upturned eyelashes, and inhale her subtle, alluring scent.

It was undeniable that Zhang Xinrui was a stunning beauty.

Yet, her usual stern and traditional demeanor during lectures had earned her nothing but reverence from the male students, who wouldn't dare express any familiarity in her presence.

Confronted with her unexpected approach, Lin Dong instinctively retreated half a step, unsure of her intentions.

Upon seeing his expression, Lin Dong could only sigh and nod, saying, "Ms. Zhang, just tell me what you need me to do."

"That's better. You're so cooperative; I won't let you down," Zhang Xinrui said with a pleased smile.

She then gestured towards the path ahead and suggested, "Come, walk with me."

Lin Dong looked at her, surprised, and exclaimed, "What, now? So suddenly? I'm not prepared yet."

"Enough chatter; let's get moving!" Zhang Xinrui asserted with the authority of a teacher, leading Lin Dong towards the parking lot.

Once there, she hopped into her Volkswagen Beetle and invited Lin Dong to join her in the car.

She then drove them both away from the school.

Lin Dong felt a mix of emotions stirring within him.

He hadn't anticipated that Zhang Xinrui would be so eager to take him to an off-campus rental. He wondered what was going through her mind at that moment...

After about ten minutes,

Lin Dong noticed a residential complex ahead.

The neighborhood seemed quite pleasant.

The car entered and came to a stop beside a building.

Zhang Xinrui then escorted him to the elevator, and they ascended to the 12th floor.

Upon entering, Lin Dong observed that the place was impeccably tidy and well-kept.

Additionally, the room was filled with a delicate fragrance unique to a woman's touch, identical to the scent that Zhang Xinrui carried.

"Ms. Zhang, you have a really nice place here," Lin Dong commented, looking around.

"Take a good look later. For now, go freshen up with a shower," Zhang Xinrui suggested, flipping her hair and pointing towards the bathroom.
