C87 His Id Card Was Pressed Against Me and I will Give It to You after I Feel Comfortable
Lin Dong's gaze fell upon the female rider known as Lin Ruobing. She wasn't wearing a helmet, but her leather attire and icy demeanor gave her an air of unyielding coolness. Several men stood by her side, all exuding a rugged toughness with tattoos marking their arms—a clear sign of their streetwise background. They were eyeing the Pagani Huayra Lin Dong had just exited, their brows knitted in concern.
"Sister Bing, this car doesn't look familiar to any of us!" one of the men remarked to Lin Ruobing.
She nodded in agreement. As she approached the front of the car, the door swung open, and Lin Dong stepped out. His striking good looks immediately drew gasps from the women in the garage. Despite his simple attire, the presence of the multimillion-dollar sports car lent him an air of understated sophistication. His already high attractiveness was amplified by the contrast, turning heads all around.
Lin Dong surveyed his surroundings with a nod of approval. This was his domain, and by the looks of it, the setup and space were worth no less than ten million.
"Why have you come?" Lin Ruobing asked, her voice tinged with a hint of confusion for the first time. She had nearly collided with him earlier, and they hadn't been separated for long. She certainly hadn't anticipated that Lin Dong would show up in a sports car, especially one as opulent as a Pagani Huayra.
Lin Dong, hands clasped behind his back, turned to Lin Ruobing with a smile. "You called me, so here I am."
"You?" Lin Ruobing's frown deepened.
"You're our new boss!" exclaimed the man beside her, his eyes wide with astonishment.
Lin Dong responded, "What, doesn't it seem likely? Feel free to verify it. I'm the owner of this club—my name is Lin Dong."
The man fell silent, turning his attention back to Lin Ruobing.
After a brief pause, Lin Ruobing addressed Lin Dong, "Let's discuss this in the office."
"Sure," Lin Dong replied, following Lin Ruobing and her entourage to the office.
Lin Ruobing was clad in a leather jacket, and Lin Dong, trailing behind her, had a perfect view of her stunning waistline. It was quite a sight for sore eyes!
They quickly reached the office.
The office of the workshop was tucked away in the corner.
The space was oval-shaped, filled with machinery-themed facilities upon entry.
Wrenches of various sizes hung in orderly fashion on the wall, alongside a nut-shaped chair, a toolbox-styled desk, an assortment of pliers, helmets, and more!
Even more impressive was the genuine modified motorcycle parked right in the office!
It boasted six double-sided exhaust ports and a twelve-cylinder engine!
The overall vibe was incredibly futuristic!
Once Lin Ruobing arrived at the office, she dismissed her subordinates.
At that moment, Lin Dong made his way to the desk and took a seat.
The chair carried a faint fragrance, reminiscent of orchids.
Lin Dong immediately recognized the scent as the same one that lingered on Lin Ruobing.
Seeing his reaction, Lin Ruobing furrowed her brow, crossed her arms over her chest, and struck an exaggerated pose, saying, "I'll cut to the chase. I want you to sell me this Motorcycle Club! I was nearly done negotiating with the previous owner, and I didn't expect him to sell the venue to you. But that's your affair. How much do you want for it? Name your price."
Lin Ruobing was clearly smitten with the Motorcycle Club, speaking more than she usually would.
Lin Dong just laughed in response.
He reclined comfortably in his chair and said bluntly, "I'm not selling."
Lin Ruobing shot back immediately, "I can offer more. Even a ten percent premium would be fine."
Lin Dong raised an eyebrow at her offer and replied, "You seem to be quite wealthy. However, my refusal to sell isn't about the money. I simply want an apology from you. You nearly ran into me."
Lin Ruobing's eyes narrowed.
Her temperament wasn't one to easily concede an apology.
Lin Dong remained silent, not pressing the issue, and just calmly observed Lin Ruobing.
The sale of the club had been orchestrated by the system, and he wasn't particularly invested in the Motorcycle Club himself.
He found Lin Ruobing intriguing.
She always looked so aloof, which really irked Lin Dong.
At that moment, Ruobing was ready to make a purchase, but he flat-out refused to sell to her! He demanded an apology first.
As Lin Dong waited, Ruobing unexpectedly turned and walked away.
Lin Dong hadn't anticipated this at all.
Just as Ruobing was about to exit, Lin Dong pulled out his ID card from his pocket and called out, "Wait, you left something behind."
Ruobing turned to see her ID card in Lin Dong's hand.
"Give it back!"
She hurried over, visibly flustered for the first time, and tried to grab it.
"No way!"
With a grin, Lin Dong withdrew the ID card and teased, "I'll hold onto this for now. Once I'm satisfied, I'll return it to you. Haha!"
