The Rock Wolf King lunged forward again, intent on finishing off the Greedy Wolf, but with a swift sidestep, the Greedy Wolf evaded and raked its claws across the Rock Wolf King's left flank.

The Rock Wolf King's side began to bleed, igniting an even fiercer red glow in its eyes as it launched another assault.

It was determined to shred this lowly creature to pieces!

Caught off guard, the Greedy Wolf's left shoulder was gashed, eliciting a pained howl as it stumbled backward.

The Rock Wolf King, a second-tier mutated Hellbeast with intelligence to match Greedy Wolf's, sensed the tide turning and grew increasingly agitated.

With a roar, at the height of their intense clash, the Rock Wolf King seized an opening and unleashed a torrent of scalding yellow breath!

Its signature move, Rock Stream, boasted a power that dwarfed that of the lesser Broken Rock Stream.

The Greedy Wolf attempted to dodge swiftly, but it was too late. Its tail was struck by the Broken Rock Stream, quickly turning to stone as if burdened with a mass of rock, severely limiting its movements.

Exhausted, the Greedy Wolf was unable to unleash another Broken Rock Stream, and even if it could, it was unlikely to pose a threat to the Rock Wolf King.

The Rock Wolf King, thrilled by its successful strike, charged forward and swiped its claws at the Greedy Wolf, whose reactions were slowed. It furiously clawed at the Greedy Wolf's already badly wounded left shoulder.

The Greedy Wolf, reeling from its injuries, tried to dodge in agony, but unexpectedly, the claws sliced through its left eye.

Ling Ji gasped in alarm, her chest rising and falling rapidly.

Blood poured from the Greedy Wolf's left eye, now blind.

The excruciating pain didn't instill fear in the Greedy Wolf; rather, it became enraged and began to tear into the Rock Wolf with a frenzied ferocity.

The forest echoed with the Rock Wolf King's agonized howls.

Watching the Rock Wolf King fall to the ground, savagely torn apart by the Greedy Wolf, Ling Ji whispered to herself, "Could it have been biding its time for this very moment?"

She could scarcely believe that the Greedy Wolf possessed the strategic intelligence of a human, feigning weakness and biding its time until the Rock Wolf King exposed a vulnerability, then striking a deadly blow!
