C5 A Wild Man.

After Chu Qing finished speaking, he took his sister by the hand and promptly left the scene.

The women who witnessed this were left utterly dumbfounded, their faces etched with astonishment—they had never expected such words to come from a man!

Even the typically haughty Ye Chenxi was taken aback by the force of Chu Qing's declaration.

Her subordinate glanced at her, seemingly wanting to speak, yet hesitated.

A slow smile spread across Ye Chenxi's face. "Do his words strike you as incredible?" she asked.

With a lick of her lips, she mused, "A wild man, huh? Now that's my kind of guy. Chu Qing, don't even think about getting away from me!"

Just then, her aide glanced at her phone and interjected, "Sister Ye, your family is pressing you to return home soon."

"Return home? I've barely had two days of fun. There's no way I'm going back now," Ye Chenxi protested with a scowl, prompting the woman in black to fall silent.

On their way home, Chu Xiao couldn't stop smiling at Chu Qing, her demeanor eager to please.

"Little brother, I need to discuss something with you," she said.

"What's it about?" Chu Qing inquired.

"Let's not tell our parents about today, okay? I don't want them to worry," Chu Xiao proposed.

The mere mention of the incident infuriated Chu Qing. He couldn't fathom why his previously well-behaved sister had suddenly turned into a troublemaker.

With a frosty look, he replied firmly, "Impossible." He had no intention of letting his sister get involved with the underworld again. If he hadn't been at Crescent Bar today, she might not have made it out unharmed.

Besides, he was planning to return to his original world and couldn't ensure her safety in the future.

Chu Xiao's face fell when Chu Qing rejected her plea, and she snapped, feigning toughness, "You little punk, I'm your sister. Are you trying to blackmail me with this?"

Chu Qing's expression remained cold, which only added to Chu Xiao's frustration.

She was unaccustomed to the changes in her brother; it was as if he had transformed into someone else entirely, no longer the compliant Chu Qing she knew.

Finally, Chu Qing offered a compromise, "I won't tell them, but on one condition: you must cut ties with those people. Either find a job or help out at Mom's company."

Chu Xiao wavered at his words, clearly tempted to manipulate the situation, but the chill in Chu Qing's gaze made her nervous. Reluctantly, she agreed, "Fine, I'll do it."

Chu Qing breathed a sigh of relief upon her acceptance; his sister had been a source of stress for him.

The tension between the siblings eased, but Chu Xiao wasn't ready to drop the subject of Ye Chenxi. "With your strong personality, brother, will any woman dare to marry you in the future? I actually think Ye Chenxi isn't so bad. She's the heir to Jin City's underground empire. Marrying her could be quite beneficial for me. Plus, she's a few years older than you—perfectly suitable."

Chu Qing was left speechless by her words.

He decided to ignore Chu Xiao's musings.

Throughout the rest of the trip, Chu Xiao bombarded him with questions about Ye Chenxi. It wasn't until they arrived home that Chu Qing managed to escape to his room, finally free from Chu Xiao's relentless chatter.

Chu Qing exhaled deeply, pondering, "I need to figure out how to leave this strange world." Despite the complete upheaval of his understanding in this matriarchal society, the one constant was his family's love. His sister had fiercely protected him, even in perilous times.

Eventually, he settled into a cross-legged position on his bed, his breaths evening out. A stream of Spiritual Energy flowed into his Dantian with each inhalation, surprisingly dense in this world.

This suggested the existence of martial cultivators here; places rich in Spiritual Energy often bred such practitioners.

Chu Qing's Ultimate Dao Freedom Technique spontaneously began gathering Spiritual Energy. He listened intently, checking if his family was asleep.

The steady breathing from his parents' room indicated they were deep in slumber. His sister's room, however, told a different story. He overheard her exclaim, "Little brother, take off your underwear. I can't wait any longer..." followed by her rapid breaths.

Chu Qing was momentarily shocked, nearly jolted from his meditative state.

"Chu Xiao! You've just come home from trouble, and now you're watching live streams?" he fumed silently.

Biting back his irritation, Chu Qing withdrew his awareness and focused on his Dantian's condition. His body was frail, untouched by Spiritual Energy. Having dissipated his Spiritual Body to traverse the Space-time Tunnel, he realized he'd have to start anew if he wished to open it again.

A wry smile crossed his lips; it looked like he'd be staying in this world a while longer.

Hours of cultivation passed until dawn broke and his body brimmed with Spiritual Energy, just enough for a few spells. In such a modern city, he doubted he'd face much danger—these spells would suffice for emergencies.

"Chu Qing, time to wake up for school!"

Lin Yuantu's voice came with a knock, followed by the clatter of kitchenware. Chu Qing's father was up, preparing breakfast.

Chu Qing pressed his temples, recalling how his mother used to be the one making breakfast. The role reversal was odd to him.

"Alright, I'm getting up!" he called back, rising from the bed. Despite the sleepless night, his cultivated energy left him looking vibrant.

He quickly got ready and opened the door to find breakfast waiting—hot milk and sandwiches, familiar comforts.

His father then advised, "Chu Qing, you must focus on your studies. We can't rely on your sister; we don't even know what time she got home last night. You're not like her. We're counting on you to get into a good university, land a decent job, and marry well. Remember, come straight home after school today. Don't visit your female classmates. A fine young man like you needs to know how to protect himself."

Chu Qing couldn't help but feel exasperated. In his past life, his mother would say these things every morning. Now, it seemed his father had taken up the mantle.

Chu Qing barely gave a second thought to the scalding heat of the milk; he downed it in one swift gulp and declared, "Alright, Dad, I'm all finished!" With that, he dashed out of the house as if making a getaway.

His dad simply shook his head and turned his attention to preparing breakfast for Chu Qing's mother.

As Chu Qing made his way along the street, his mind seemed to drift into a daze. He was even starting to come to terms with this bizarre reality.

Once he embraced the oddity of it all, he couldn't help but find it somewhat endearing. Yet, at the same time, he couldn't shake the feeling that it was utterly inconceivable.
