C3 City god temple society
Returning to my seat, I urged them to finish the rest of their meal and hurried back to the dormitory.
For the next half month, I didn't encounter any more of these strange things. It was as if everything was back on track. However, I received an anonymous express delivery package. Opening it, I found that the contents were actually the ancient red bridal clothing that I once wore, the headdress that I had taken off and the outer garment that I had taken off.
I was surprised to find that the red dress had always been in my storage room, and hadn't I thrown the shirt into the mountains?
I remembered my grandfather's words. He didn't throw the clothes away, but locked them in the closet.
Today is a gathering of our city gods, Gu Xiangqing's mother drove us out to play. It was only because of the wedding the day before that my heart began to feel uneasy, all the way tightly holding the fox amulet in my hand.
During the day, the City God Temple was very lively and fun. At night, there were lanterns and festoons everywhere, and the lights were bright. Dancing dragons and lions was even more fun.
In the bustle of the night market, I was drawn to the candy maker's stall.
He looked at all kinds of sugar figurines in front of him. They were beautiful in all different colors and looked very cute.
"Uncle, I want a …" I thought for a moment, "I want a lotus flower, I want a big red one..." I looked at the lotus flower boat beside me and excitedly said. He also bought a lotus flower boat.
Soon Sugar Man was ready to pinch. After paying the bill, I happily took it. When I turned around, I found that there was no longer Gu Xiangqing, Yang Peiyan, or any of the others behind me.
I pick up my phone, but it doesn't have a box. With the lollipop in his hand, he looked around for them.
"Little girl, little girl ~ ~ ~" An aged voice rang out.
I turned around and saw an old fortune-teller sitting there. He was smiling at me.
I pointed to myself and said to him, "Are you calling me? I'm sorry, I don't know." My grandfather is in this line of work, these godly men definitely can't compare to my grandfather. I didn't pay him any attention, but just as I was about to refuse to leave, a word from him made me go back.
"You've been chosen by the Mountain God!"
I stopped and turned slowly.
Looking at that old face, those eyes that were filled with wrinkles and age spots, there was a flash of light in his eyes, as if he had seen through me.
I went up to him and squatted on the floor and swallowed.
To tell the truth, although I haven't had any strange and supernatural incidents these days, the events of that night often happened in my dreams. Even though I'd been sleeping with the fox tag in my hand, the scene still affected me.
"Great sir, how did you know?" I asked. With that one sentence, I suddenly had a change in my opinion of this old man.
He chuckled and scratched his black and white beard.
"Don't be afraid little lady, I came here specifically to save you. Are you Su Liang's granddaughter?"
When he said those words, I looked at him in shock. He actually knows my grandfather?!
"Come, take this. This is a purse. Inside it is a divine object that can save your life. Your grandfather entrusted it to me to teach you."
Doubtful, I received the red silk pouch. A pink lotus flower was embroidered on it. Under the illumination of the street lamp, the golden threads and silver threads shone with a somewhat dazzling light. It was just a small purse, so it couldn't hold much.
"Did my grandpa really ask you to give this to me?" I asked.
He smiled, "Of course, your grandfather and I are old acquaintances, disciples of the same sect."
Then he picked up the things on the floor, as if he had been waiting for me today.
I looked at the purse in my hand, then looked at the grandpa's back as he walked away. Is this old man really grandpa's martial brother? I was a bit suspicious, but I didn't know what to think. After all, my grandfather had never mentioned his previous sect to me.
While I was still in a daze, my cell phone rang. I saw that it was from Li Qiqi.
"Hey, Kiki."
"Xiao Bing, we are at the temple entrance. Auntie's family has some urgent matters to attend to so you should hurry over to meet up with us."
"Oh, I'll be right there."
I immediately ran to the entrance to the temple to meet them.
When I got in the car, my spine and spine were so bad that I fainted whenever I got in the car, so every time I got in the car I sat in the front passenger seat. I would open the window, fasten my seat belt, and hold my bag with my hand, in which was the bag of brocades that the old man had given me.
Holding my chin, I looked outside. It was around 10 pm when the car was on the highway, so I drove on the highway without any obstructions.
The night wind was a little cold, and I shivered from it, so I closed the window. I narrowed my eyes and sat upright. Just as I was about to close my eyes and take a nap, I saw a white figure suddenly appear in the middle of the road in front of me. Wearing a large white skirt, appearing empty when the wind blew.
It seemed to be a person. My eyes widened as I exclaimed, "Auntie, there's someone over there!"
Before the car could stop, it bumped into the person in front. Auntie Gu was probably scared senseless. Even though the car hit someone, she didn't react and didn't brake.
The car clearly thumped once, and the person that was hit by the car fell over. Was this man still alive?
Auntie Gu finally reacted. Suddenly, she braked, and a creaking sound pierced through the black sky.
Auntie Gu's head was covered in a layer of hot sweat. She stood there in a daze, gasping for breath, as if she had yet to recover from her shock.
We were all stunned. Gu Xiangqing was the first to react, and she called for us to go down and check out the situation.
A few meters behind, there was a badly mutilated body. The white dress was stained with blood, and her long hair was disheveled over her body. We couldn't see her face clearly, as if it had been crushed by the car. His head had already collapsed and there were still some yellow matter beside him. His brain had been squeezed out. This person must be hopeless, he must be dead!
However, why was the blood brown? Moreover, it was emitting a rotten stench. It smelled extremely disgusting. Li Qiqi spat it out on the spot, and Yang Pingyan was so scared that he cried. Gu Xiangqing and Auntie Gu were also stunned. No one had thought that something like this would happen after coming out to play.
Then we called the police.
The police arrived quickly and asked about us.
We were taken at the scene and marked with a human form. We were taken to the car by the police, and he asked us to go to the police station and take a statement.
The female corpse was being carried on a stretcher. A gust of wind came from somewhere and blew up the white cloth covering the corpse. The stench of blood filled the air, and a few policemen who were carrying the stretcher threw it on the ground in disgust.
When the stretcher fell to the ground, I saw that the female corpse had opened her eyes. Her green eyes looked extremely strange. The policemen ran to the side and threw up, as if they were about to spit out the bile as well.
At that moment, the female corpse suddenly stood up and waved its claws at the police officer beside her.
I widened my eyes in shock as I exclaimed loudly, "A corpse is being faked! Police, be careful!" The voice trembled.
The policemen turned their heads, but their reactions were still the same. Their necks were immediately grabbed by the female corpse. Their square faces instantly turned red and their eyes widened. They did not know what had happened.
"There's a ghost!" Run! " Li Qiqi screamed in fear and walked around helplessly.
The other policemen all looked over. They reacted quickly and took out their guns to fire at the female corpse, but the bullets didn't have any effect on her. They just made a few more holes on her body.
The shots didn't affect the female corpse, but it was as if it had provoked her. She had her hand on the two policemen's necks as she turned around and glared fiercely at the policeman who had fired the shot and let out a scream. Then, black blood flowed out of his mouth and his face was covered in blood. Her brain was even more terrifying, it had already been crushed and flattened behind her. When she stood up, the shattered back of her head fell out, revealing a sticky brain. That brain didn't bleed, but white maggots crawled out from inside, fat maggots falling and twisting on the ground.
I stepped back, feeling sick in my stomach, but I couldn't spit it out, probably because I was scared.
