C12 Only He Could Do It!

In the Yun Lansha Heavenly Domain, at the Tang Family residence, everyone had gathered for a family banquet tonight. The matriarch, who had been bedridden for some time, had finally awakened, much to the delight of the Tangs.

Tang Zhenye's eldest son, Tang Xingguo, his second son, Tang Xingye, and his third son, Tang Xingjia, had all returned. His daughter, Tang Xingqiu, had even hurried back from a neighboring city upon hearing the news. Nearly three generations of the Tang Family were present.

Tang Qingshan helped the elderly lady to the dining hall, and everyone's spirits lifted at the sight of color returning to her cheeks. The doctor's critical condition notice had previously terrified Tang Zhenye's children.

"Mom, you're looking better!" Tang Xingqiu exclaimed, rushing to assist her.

"I'm alright. Where's my grandson?" the old lady inquired, looking at Tang Xingqiu.

"Qingcheng, come here, your grandmother is calling for you!" Tang Xingqiu called out to the young man seated nearby.

"Grandma, I'm right here!" Tang Qingcheng approached quickly, his voice filled with concern.

"My dear grandson, you've grown so much, and you're looking more handsome by the day. Excellent, just excellent!" The old lady beamed with happiness as she looked at Tang Qingcheng.

"Grandma, make sure to eat well tonight. You've got to be there to see me get married!" Tang Qingcheng said, his face alight with a smile.

"Yes! Yes! Grandma will eat plenty. I have to be there to see my Qingcheng find a bride!" The old lady's smile grew even more radiant at Tang Qingcheng's playful words.

She was escorted to her seat, and the family feast commenced.

"Dear, taste this braised turtle I made just for you," Tang Zhenye said, placing a piece into the old lady's bowl.

"You made this yourself?" she asked, clearly surprised.

"Absolutely. I still remember how, after earning my first pot of gold, I bought a turtle and cooked it for you. You couldn't stop singing its praises. Just like that, decades have flown by," Tang Zhenye reminisced, his heart swelling with nostalgia for the days he and his wife had weathered together, building their life from the ground up.

"Indeed, time does fly. In the blink of an eye, the kids are all grown up with families of their own, and we've grown old," the old lady reminisced.

"Grandma, you're not old at all. I even made a special chicken soup to nourish you today! Give it a taste!" Tang Qingshan said as he rose to his feet and ladled a bowl of chicken soup for the old lady.

"Look at Qingshan, all grown up and cooking soup!" The old lady's face beamed with an even brighter smile as she watched Tang Qingshan.

"I'll certainly have a few more bowls today. This soup was made by my granddaughter!" The old lady declared, lifting the bowl of chicken soup and downing it in one gulp.

"Delicious! So delicious!" she praised again and again.

"If you like it, have some more. Grandma, let me serve you another bowl," Tang Qingshan offered, pouring her a second helping.

"Alright..." But before the old lady could finish her sentence, a sudden flush of red spread across her face, and blood spurted from her mouth.

"Grandma!" Everyone was horrified. Tang Zhenye immediately embraced his wife and cried out in panic, "Quick! Get a doctor! We need a doctor!"

Outside the room, a crowd had gathered, their faces etched with concern. Tang Xingguo, Tang Xingye, Tang Xingjia, and Tang Xingqiu all wore grave expressions.

That night, nearly every renowned doctor in Gliatol was summoned, yet only Chiang Huangqi managed to temporarily sustain the old lady's vitality.

"Divine Doctor Chiang, is there truly no hope?" Tang Zhenye, worn from a sleepless night, looked visibly aged, the lines around his eyes deepening.

"Elder Tang, you must look after yourself. I fear that your wife..." Chiang Huangqi trailed off, shaking his head with regret.

"What? There's no way to save her? But she was getting better, wasn't she? How could this happen..." Tang Zhenye struggled to grasp the grim reality.

"Your wife's condition had improved, but after being unconscious for so many days without proper nourishment, her body remains frail. The turtle soup and chicken soup are both warming and nourishing, which would normally be beneficial. However, the addition of the ninety-year-old mountain ginseng to the chicken soup was too much for her weakened state. Her body couldn't handle such a potent remedy."

Chiang Huangqi conveyed her diagnostic conclusion to Tang Zhenye with candor.

"Excess in Yang leads to decline, and a deficiency cannot be nourished..."

Upon hearing this, Tang Zhenye grasped the gravity of the situation. His eyes, void of spirit, reflected a sense of utter despair, as if his world had crumbled in the blink of an eye.

Tang Qingshan, standing by anxiously, was equally dumbfounded. It seemed the root of the problem lay in the chicken soup she had prepared. She had added the mountain ginseng with the intention of bolstering her grandmother's health, never anticipating it would turn into a lethal potion.

"Grandpa, I'm so sorry, it's all my fault... I've caused harm to Grandma..."

Tears streamed down Tang Qingshan's face as he spoke.

"You had the best intentions; you can't blame yourself. It's all in the hands of fate..."

Tang Zhenye sighed deeply.

"Elder Tang, if we're unable to save her, perhaps there is someone who can."

In that moment, Chiang Huangqi turned to Tang Zhenye with a suggestion.

"Do you mean... Liu... Liu Changqing?"

Prompted by Chiang Huangqi, a spark of hope flickered in Tang Zhenye's eyes.

"Exactly! Given that your wife regained consciousness after taking his prescribed pills, it's evident he possesses the knowledge to treat her. Since we're at a loss, he may be our only hope for a cure!"

Chiang Huangqi spoke with earnest analysis.

"Yes, yes! He must be able to save her! Mr. Liu is highly skilled; he's bound to have a solution!"

A mix of urgency and relief washed over Tang Zhenye's face.

"Qingshan, did you manage to find Mr. Liu's address?"

Tang Zhenye quickly turned to Tang Qingshan, whose cheeks were still streaked with tears.

"I did, I was just about to discuss it with you, but Grandma just..."

"Quick, come with me to seek out Mr. Liu. He's the only one who can save your grandmother now!"

Tang Zhenye urged, ready to rush out the door.

"Dad, you've been up all night. You need to watch your health! Let Qingcheng and Qingshan handle inviting Mr. Liu!"

Upon seeing Tang Zhenye preparing to make the visit himself, Tang Xingqiu quickly expressed his concern.

Given Tang Zhenye's stature, how many in all of Gliatol City truly merited a personal invitation from him? Not even the most revered healers could expect such an honor.

"Indeed! Grandfather, let Qingshan and me handle this. You should take some time to rest at home. I assure you, we'll bring Doctor Liu back," Tang Qingcheng offered with assurance.

"Very well! You two extend the invitation then! But remember, show the utmost respect and do not slight Mr. Liu in any way," Tang Zhenye cautioned, his worry evident.

"Rest easy, Grandfather! I'll make sure to bring him to you," Tang Qingcheng declared with unwavering confidence.

"Let's go, Qingshan. Give me the address and I'll drive us there," he said, picking up the Ferrari's keys from the table and heading towards the car parked outside the villa with Tang Qingshan in tow.
