C4 There Are People Who Can Flirt with Girls like You!

Veins bulged on Lee Ming's face, a testament to the excruciating pain radiating from his lower body that had numbed him to his core. Liu Changqing's kick had shattered his lifelong happiness.

"Why so silent now, Lee Ming?" Liu Changqing sneered, looking down at Lee Ming sprawled on the ground.

Lee Ming yearned to speak, to hurl insults, but he lacked the strength to utter a sound. All he could do was glare venomously at Liu Changqing.

"You tried to kill me once, but today, it's your turn to savor the flavor of death!" Liu Changqing's gaze was icy with murderous intent.

"Boom!" Despite Earth's inhospitable conditions for cultivation, Liu Changqing had managed to accumulate a substantial amount of spiritual energy, more than enough to handle Lee Ming.

"Perish!" With spiritual energy swirling in his palm, Liu Changqing brought it crashing down towards Lee Ming's head.

"Bam!" As his hand neared its target, a dazzling light exploded from Lee Ming's neck, the might of the Spirit Awakening Stage clashing with Liu Changqing's spiritual force.

"Boom!" The blast sent Liu Changqing staggering back several steps, his eyes flickering with astonishment.

A magic tool! Lee Ming possessed a magic tool, and judging by the surge of power it had just released, it was a relief that it was merely a low-level one.

Liu Changqing, still new to the path of cultivation with an unstable foundation and a frail body, could not be defeated by such a tool, but neither could he vanquish Lee Ming.

"Hmph! Consider that a down payment. Don't cross me again, for you might not be so fortunate next time!" With those words, Liu Changqing turned on his heel and strode away from Lee Ming's villa with an air of authority.

Overwhelmed by terror and agony, Lee Ming had felt death's grip closing in. Now, watching Liu Changqing depart, he let out a breath of relief. But as his tension eased, the pain surged, overwhelming him until he blacked out.

Moments after leaving Lee Ming's villa, Liu Changqing felt a powerful force pressing against his chest, barely able to contain it.

With a splutter, a mouthful of blood sprayed out, instantly filling his mouth with a metallic taste.

"Ugh! This body is just too frail; it can't even handle a low-level magic tool," Liu Changqing lamented, shaking his head in resignation.

Despite possessing the power of the Spirit Awakening Stage, his physical form was disappointingly weak, incapable of wielding his true combat strength. His priority now was to rigorously condition his body.

Conditioning required medicinal herbs, and Liu Changqing recalled a renowned clinic not far from his home. Without hesitation, he made his way there.

Upon reaching the clinic, he read the sign "Rejuvenation Hall" and pushed open the wooden door to enter.

The air inside was thick with the scent of various herbs, and Liu Changqing could identify each one by its aroma alone.

"Sir, are you here for a consultation or to fill a prescription?" inquired the female attendant at the medicine counter upon noticing Liu Changqing.

"I need to pick up some herbs."

"Do you have a prescription?"

"No."

"No prescription? What are you here to collect then? Sir, if you're just here to mock me, I'd ask that you leave," she said, her voice laced with contempt as she frowned at him.

"Do you really think I'm here to make fun of you? I don't even know you," Liu Changqing retorted, his tone dripping with disdain.

"I may not have a prescription, but I know exactly which herbs I need. Just get them for me, and you'll be paid," he stated firmly, unfazed by the woman's rudeness.

"And who do you think you are? So full of yourself. You don't look any older than me! You understand Chinese medicine? That's hard to believe. Please, move along. I'm aware that I'm attractive and have a certain charm, but if you're trying to hit on me, at least come up with a better excuse. I'm not interested in entertaining you," she said haughtily, sizing him up with a skeptical eye.

"I said, get the herbs," Liu Changqing repeated, ignoring her comments. His presence intensified, and he fixed her with an icy glare.

In a split second, the staff member felt as though a fierce tiger had locked eyes with him. Compelled by an invisible force, he turned around and began to gather the herbs as Liu Changqing had instructed.

"Winter Ling Grass, Salvia, Heavenly Immortal Vine, Earth Cow Knee..."

Liu Changqing rattled off a list of medicinal herbs, and the staff member dutifully fetched each one from the corresponding cabinet.

Once the herbs were collected, Liu Changqing took a seat at a nearby table to rest, waiting for the staff to package them up.

Just then, the doors of the Hall of Rejuvenation swung open, and an elderly man accompanied by a young girl stepped inside.

"Grandpa, was spending half a million yuan on this really worth it?"

The girl was dressed in a form-fitting outfit, her long hair flowing gracefully, her stunning figure on full display.

Her face was shaped like a melon seed, with willow-leaf eyebrows, sparkling eyes, and pearly white teeth. Her lively eyes sparkled like jewels set in her exquisite face.

She cradled a wooden box in her arms, looking quizzically at the elder she was assisting.

Though money wasn't an issue for them, the half-million yuan spent on a mountain ginseng, purported to be a century old, left them feeling somewhat duped.

"Qingshan, you're well aware of your grandmother's condition. She's gone just like that. I'd do anything to save her life!"

The old man's voice trembled with sorrow, his wrinkled face etched with sadness.

"Grandpa, don't lose heart. Grandma will be alright. With this mountain ginseng, her health is bound to improve! Let's have Divine Doctor Chiang examine this herb soon," Tang Qingshan consoled, seeing the old man's distress.

"Mm."

The elder nodded, brushing away a tear with the back of his hand, and made his way inside, his steps shaky but determined.

"Elder Tang, what brings you here?"

At that moment, Chiang Huangqi emerged from within the Hall of Rejuvenation. Catching sight of the elder, he approached swiftly, his concern evident in his voice.

"Divine Doctor Chiang, I've come into possession of a century-old mountain ginseng. Could you take a look and see if it's suitable for my wife's condition?" The elder's eyes were full of hope as he addressed Chiang Huangqi.

"A century-old mountain ginseng? Show me," Chiang Huangqi replied, his eyes betraying a flicker of astonishment upon hearing the age of the ginseng. Such specimens were exceedingly rare, and one of this age was a true rarity. If genuine, it might just be potent enough to sustain Elder Tang's wife through her precarious health.

"Qingshan, present the ginseng to Divine Doctor Chiang," the elder instructed Tang Qingshan, who stood by his side.

"Divine Doctor Chiang, please examine this," Tang Qingshan said as he carefully opened the box cradled in his arms. A moment later, the mountain ginseng, nestled within the folds of fine brocade, caught the attention of all present.

Liu Changqing, seated to the side, had been listening intently to the exchange. He spared a glance at the ginseng, etching its image into his memory. Yet, his interest was piqued more by the wooden box in Tang Qingshan's hands than the ginseng itself.
