C13 His Sister Is in Trouble!

Zhang Ze nodded and made his way over to collect the items that had materialized after his victory over Money-making Superman.

This haul included two high-level Devil Soul Spheres, eighteen intermediate ones, seventy-seven low-level spheres, a pair of Blood-replenishing Medicine bottles, an invitation letter, and three pieces of equipment!

"He truly lives up to the title of a high-level adventurer. He's got quite the stash of valuables," Zhang Ze said with a smile. The battle had been a gamble, but the payoff was substantial, rewarding him with an array of treasures.

Among the equipment, he found a Level C shoulder pad, Level D pants, and a Level C hat.

"This is perfect; I'm in need of gear." Zhang Ze donned all three items, and his appearance subtly shifted.

"What's this invitation about?"

He examined the letter.

Invitation Letter (Death Domain)

Quality: C

Note: An access pass to the Death Domain.

Durability: 1/1

"What is the Death Domain?"

Zhang Ze pored over the Devil Domain Guide, but it contained no mention of the Death Domain.

He tucked the invitation into his backpack and proceeded to absorb all the high-level Devil Soul Spheres within. His Strength Value rose by one point, and his speed by two.

"Mr. Rakshasa, your recent performance was nothing short of remarkable! Would you consider joining the Devil Domain Bureau to serve our nation?" Judgement of Heaven approached, offering his hand.

Zhang Ze shook it but declined, "Sorry, I'm not considering that path at the moment."

"I understand," Judgement of Heaven responded, nodding with a contemplative air. "We all have our paths to follow, and I won't press you. Take down my contact number. Should you change your mind, feel free to reach out."

After noting down the number, Zhang Ze listened as Judgement of Heaven added, "Mr. Rakshasa, one more thing. No matter how powerful you become, always remember the blood of Great Xia coursing through your veins. Never do anything to dishonor your country and your people."

"I'm aware," Zhang Ze assured him with a grave nod. Though he had arrived in this world from another, he had long since become a citizen of Great Xia. Betraying his adopted homeland and its people was unthinkable.

After passing through the stone door, Zhang Ze made his way to the third level.

The entire level was a lush tropical rainforest, the air warm and moist. The thick foliage overhead obscured the sky, with sunlight filtering through the leaves, dappling the forest floor.

Fewer people congregated at the altar on this level compared to the first two. In the Devil Domain, the higher the level, the fewer Adventurers there were.

Many lacked the strength to defeat the gatekeeper boss, and without victory, there was no key to unlock the next level.

Furthermore, with each ascending level in the Devil Domain, the monsters grew more formidable. For Adventurers without significant power, it was wiser to avoid the risk.

After all, one only has a single life to live.

According to the Devil Domain Guide, the monsters on the third level were no longer beasts or insects but humanoid creatures: Goblins!

These Goblins were categorized as Sword-shield Goblins, Rock Goblins, and the formidable Goblin King!

Glancing at the time, Zhang Ze noted it was nearing midnight. Feeling weary, he decided to log off and rest.

Adventurers with lower physical attributes could only endure short stints in the Devil Domain. As their physical strength improved, so too would the duration of their stays.

Rumor had it that elite Adventurers could remain in the Devil Domain for over a month.

Zhang Ze reappeared in his living room and was immediately struck by the absence of his sister.

"It's so late. Why hasn't she come home?"

He furrowed his brow in concern. Zhang Feng was fiercely independent, yet she made it a point to return home every night, making today's absence particularly unusual.

Reaching for his phone to call Zhang Feng, Zhang Ze was startled to find a slew of missed calls.

The caller was Feng's close friend, Lu Panpan.

Lu Panpan and Zhang Feng were classmates with a modest background. They often worked and played together.

"Could something have happened to my sister?"

With growing anxiety, Zhang Ze quickly dialed Lu Panpan. As soon as the call connected, Panpan's voice, fraught with urgency, filled the line.

"Why did it take you so long to pick up? You need to get to the Cloud Cauldron Club's dance hall right away! Something's happened to Zhang Feng!"

Before Zhang Ze had the chance to ask more questions, Lu Panpan abruptly ended the call.

Without hesitation, Zhang Ze dressed and dashed out, hailing a taxi to the Cloud Cauldron Club.

The Cloud Cauldron Club was one of Tianfeng City's most opulent nightspots. Come midnight, it was the playground for the wealthy and influential.

Here, the elite spent lavishly, with some tycoons occasionally reserving the entire venue for themselves.

As the taxi wove through the streets, Zhang Ze's mind raced. "Why is my sister here? She mentioned finding a way to make money. Could she mean working at a place like this? Naive girl, this is no place for folks like us."

He sighed, shaking his head in worry.

There was no denying that Zhang Feng was strikingly attractive, renowned as the beauty of her school.

A girl as pretty as her in a place like this was bound to attract trouble.

Zhang Ze's grip tightened, his resolve hardening. "Whoever tries to harm my sister will face my wrath, no exceptions."

Upon arriving at the Cloud Cauldron Club, he burst into the dance hall, spotting a crowd in the distance. Forcing his way through, he found his sister Zhang Feng, looking panic-stricken amidst the onlookers. Across from her, lounging on a leather sofa, was a portly middle-aged man beside a nonchalant, smoking, blond-haired youth.

Flanking the sofa were two imposing bodyguards clad in black. Their demeanor revealed them as skilled martial artists.

With contempt, the middle-aged man tossed a silver Consumption Card at Zhang Feng's feet. "I told you to have a drink with Young Master Chen. What's with all the backtalk? There's 10,000 yuan on this card! Get on with it and drink with Young Master Chen! You come here to work and still play the innocent? Ridiculous!"

Stepping up, Lu Panpan offered a placating smile. "Excuse me, sir, my friend here really can't handle her liquor. Perhaps I could take her place?"

The man gave her a dismissive glance. "Do you think you're as attractive as she is? Young Master Chen has his eye on this one. She's the one who will join him for a drink today."

"But," Lu Panpan said, clearly torn.

Just then, Zhang Ze strode up, seized his sister's hand, and swiftly turned to leave!

"Brother!" Zhang Feng's fear vanished instantly upon seeing Zhang Ze.

Zhang Ze's bold move took everyone by surprise. The middle-aged man leaped to his feet and demanded, "Who are you? Release her!"

A black-clad bodyguard stepped in front of Zhang Ze. Zhang Ze halted and declared icily, "I'm her brother, and I'm taking her home."

"Her brother?" The middle-aged man paused, then scoffed, "I don't care who you are. Today, she has to entertain my honored guest properly. Otherwise, nobody leaves!"

Chen Feng, the blond young man, remained seated on the sofa, watching the unfolding drama with an air of superiority, a smirk playing on his lips.

He was a student at Jiangbei City's First High School and the only genius to have awakened a Level-S talent skill in Jiangbei City in the last decade.

The middle-aged man was Wu Tiancheng, the chairman of Heavenly Star Corporation. He had invited Chen Feng to the Cloud Cauldron Club to curry favor.

By chance, they encountered Zhang Feng delivering drinks. Struck by her beauty, Chen Feng couldn't help but stare. Sensing an opportunity, Wu Tiancheng intercepted Zhang Feng and insisted she join Chen Feng for a drink.

Zhang Feng, unaccustomed to drinking and unwilling to entertain, politely declined, leaving Wu Tiancheng embarrassed and infuriated, causing a scene before everyone.

Chen Feng, for his part, remained silent throughout. To him, everyone present was a mere jester. He never bothered with those less powerful than himself.
