C16 I Hope You Can Give Me a Surprise!

Chen Feng gave a nonchalant shrug and said coolly, "Sorry about that. I just turned eighteen today. I'm officially an adult now!"

No sooner had the words left his mouth than Chen Feng launched a punch at Lee Zihao!

The abruptness of the punch caught everyone off guard, Lee Zihao included.

Lee Zihao exclaimed, "Kid! You think you can take me on?" He swiftly retaliated, confident in his strength. Despite being fifty-five and out of practice, with his physical condition a shadow of its former self, he believed defeating a seventeen or eighteen-year-old would be a breeze.

Their fists met mid-air. Lee Zihao stumbled back two steps, while Chen Feng remained unshaken.

The superior fighter was clear for all to see!

Chen Feng was still just a student. Wu Tiancheng had initially feared he wouldn't stand a chance against Lee Zihao, the retired Devil Domain Expert. But Chen Feng had surprised him!

Wu Tiancheng burst into laughter and turned to Lee Zihao with a triumphant sneer. "Young Master Chen truly lives up to his reputation as Jiangbei's only Level-S talent in a decade! Lee Zihao, you might have been a Devil Domain Expert, but those days are over! The era now belongs to the youth. It's high time you scurried home to retire!"

Lee Zihao attempted to respond, but as he opened his mouth, a surge of blood rose in his throat. Realizing Chen Feng's punch had inflicted internal damage, he forced the blood down, opting to remain silent.

Lee Zihao was astounded. "I never imagined this youngster would possess Level-S talent! His punch felt like it carried eight to nine hundred kilograms of force! A Rank 1 Devil Domain Expert's punch is at least a thousand kilograms. Could this kid's strength be nearing that of a Rank 1 Devil Domain Expert?"

Chen Feng casually lit a cigarette, the picture of ease. With a scoff, he remarked, "And here I thought Devil Domain Experts were formidable. You're just average, at best!"

Having finished speaking, he turned to Wu Tiancheng at his side and declared, "Mr. Wu, Lee Zihao no longer has the guts to oppose you. You're free to do as you please. With my support, no one will dare to stand in your way!"

Chen Feng's gaze swept over Zhang Ze as he spoke, a clear warning flashing in his eyes.

"I've got it, Young Master Chen," Wu Tiancheng said, rubbing his hands together. He was convinced that bringing Chen Feng to Tianfeng City had been a smart move. The recent skirmish had crushed Lee Zihao's influence, ensuring smoother operations for Wu in the city from now on.

"Bring that girl to me!" Wu Tiancheng commanded, pointing at Zhang Feng. His black-clad bodyguards immediately advanced toward her.

Sister Chiang, clutching Lee Zihao, looked on in panic. "Brother Zihao, what do we do?"

Lee Zihao was ghostly pale, gesturing feebly. "That kid's too strong; I'm no match for him. This is out of our hands."

Lu Panpan, standing nearby, felt her heart drop at his words.

If even Lee Zihao couldn't help Zhang Feng, what were they to do?

Zhang Ze pulled his sister back protectively. A bodyguard barked, "Scram!" and reached out to shove Zhang Ze, but his hands grasped only air.

With swift steps, Zhang Ze dodged the bodyguards, slipping away with the slickness of an eel. Before the onlookers could even react, he was back at his sister's side, while the three bodyguards lay on the ground, eyes rolled back, mouths frothing.

"What happened?" Wu Tiancheng's eyes bulged in disbelief. He hadn't caught a glimpse of Zhang Ze's move. It was as if Zhang Ze had merely flitted past his bodyguards, and then they were down.

Not just Wu Tiancheng, but few in the crowd could discern Zhang Ze's movements; his speed was astounding.

Lee Zihao's eyes sparkled with excitement. "Young man, how high is your agility attribute now? You're incredibly fast!"

As a Devil Domain Expert with a high agility attribute himself, he had managed to see Zhang Ze's swift punches to the bodyguards' midsections.

Zhang Ze merely smiled, offering no response.

"You're an adventurer in the Devil Domain, too?" Wu Tiancheng asked, his face shifting with the question.

The Devil Domain was accessible to all eligible humans, yet not everyone was cut out for survival there. Becoming an adventurer required more than just talent; it was also a matter of personal interests.

Wu Tiancheng had no love for battling monsters in the Devil Domain. He much preferred the thrill of business and the pursuit of profit over such dangerous exploits.

In his view, only brutes enjoyed monster-slaying, their crowning glory being a captaincy in the military.

He was convinced that it took a sharp mind to climb to the very top. It was rare for someone to rise from the ranks of Devil Domain adventurers to the echelons of influential politicians.

Wu Tiancheng had scarcely set foot in the Devil Domain, yet he had risen to prominence. Wealth and power were his, and with them, he could command the Devil Domain Experts to do his bidding!

"Interesting!" Chen Feng's eyes narrowed slightly. He had just managed to catch a glimpse of Zhang Ze's quick movements. With an agility score of 11, he was significantly faster than the average person, and he was confident that no one could best him—save for the Devil Domain Experts.

But he hadn't expected to encounter Zhang Ze in Tianfeng City, and it ignited his competitive drive.

"Let me introduce myself properly. I'm Chen Feng, a senior at Dragon Lake High School in Jiangbei City. And you are?" he inquired.

Zhang Ze wasn't about to be intimidated into withholding his name.

"I'm Zhang Ze from the Fifth High School in Tianfeng City."

A smirk played on Chen Feng's lips. "I didn't expect us both to be seniors. Quite the coincidence. How about a friendly match?"

"I'm not interested," Zhang Ze replied curtly, pulling his sister along as he turned to leave. No one there could hold him back.

Suddenly, a fierce gust of wind whistled past Zhang Ze's ear!

In a swift motion, Zhang Ze spun around and shattered the beer bottle flying toward Zhang Feng's head with a well-aimed kick.

"So you noticed!" Chen Feng chuckled with a hint of admiration. "But without my say-so, you and your sister aren't going anywhere today!"

Zhang Ze's brow furrowed. He wasn't looking for trouble, but he wouldn't back down if it came looking for him.

Since Chen Feng was stirring up trouble, he was ready to rise to the occasion!

Lee Zihao held his breath and cautioned Zhang Ze, "Kid, Chen Feng is incredibly strong. His punches pack at least 400 kilograms of force! You've got to be extra careful."

Zhang Ze gave a nod of acknowledgment. He entrusted Zhang Feng's care to Loo Panpan.

"Brother, please be careful!" Zhang Feng's voice trembled with anxiety. She had gleaned from the onlookers' conversations and expressions that Chen Feng was a formidable opponent.

Zhang Ze gave Zhang Feng a reassuring glance, then he steadily advanced.

By now, the crowd had cleared a generous area for their showdown.

Chen Feng rolled his neck, the cracking of his bones breaking the silence.

"Back in Jiangbei, I took on challengers from every school and never met my match," he said with a sly grin. "I'm hoping you'll be the one to surprise me!"
