"I can't say I'm completely confident, but we're out of options, so I've got to try," Zhang Ze said with a slight smile. "If we pull this off, not only will we escape, but we'll also rake in a hefty reward. It's a gamble worth taking."

Midsummer Night Dream interjected, "Brother Zhang Ze, you're missing one thing. If those three foreign adventurers stumble upon us while we're battling the BOSS and ambush us, we're as good as dead."

Lau Yueying nodded in agreement. "Tian has a point. What's your plan to deal with that?"

Zhang Ze turned to Midsummer Night Dream, his smile broadening. "That's where your Innate Skill comes into play!"

"What are you suggesting?" Midsummer Night Dream asked, puzzled.

Meanwhile, Dr. Legendary, Harrison, and Night Elf were in hot pursuit of Lau Yueying, Zhang Ze, and their companions, all the while engaging in combat with monsters.

"I never would've guessed Killing Windchaser had a Random Teleportation Scroll on him. Those things are pricey—100,000 yuan on the market. That guy must be loaded!" Harrison remarked, after felling a villager with his axe, to Dr. Legendary and Night Elf trailing behind him.

"Great Xia's own got lucky today. Without that luck, he'd have been a goner with us on his tail!" Night Elf grumbled resentfully. She bore a grudge against Killing Windchaser for killing her boyfriend in a previous skirmish and was eager for revenge.

Dr. Legendary responded with a nonchalant smile, "He was down to just 10% of his HP when he used that scroll. If he's landed in a monster den, he's done for."

Harrison and Night Elf felt a bit better after hearing Dr. Legendary's comment. Indeed, the unpredictability of the Random Teleportation Scroll's destination often led to users materializing right in front of monsters.

"Let's hope the gods are on our side, and this Great Xia fellow pops up right next to the BOSS and gets taken out," Night Elf said viciously.

No sooner had she spoken than Harrison, standing next to her, suddenly widened his eyes, pointing excitedly ahead, and exclaimed, "There's the BOSS!"

Dr. Legendary and the Night Elf were taken aback as a three-meter-tall Fat Butcher materialized before them. It was unmistakably a boss!

"We've hit the jackpot this time! After we take down the Death Domain's boss, we'll score a massive haul of loot. Let's move quickly before anyone else catches on!" Dr. Legendary said, rubbing his hands together with glee.

The last time the Death Domain had emerged, they'd missed their shot at the boss because someone else beat them to the punch. They later learned that the fallen boss had dropped a piece of Level S equipment, dozens of attributeless Devil Soul Spheres, and other rare items.

They had been green with envy but could do nothing about it. They simply hadn't been that lucky.

But now, fortune had smiled on them. The boss was right there for the taking.

The Night Elf swiftly notched an arrow and let it fly at the Death Butcher, only to be shocked when it passed right through without inflicting any harm.

"What's happening? Why isn't the boss taking any damage?" the Night Elf asked, turning to Dr. Legendary in bewilderment.

Dr. Legendary launched a fireball with the same result—the fiery projectile passed straight through the Death Butcher, leaving it unscathed.

"This is bizarre! I've never encountered a boss like this. It's incorporeal!" Dr. Legendary pondered for a moment before a realization dawned on him. "I've got it!"

Harrison and the Night Elf both looked to Dr. Legendary as he spoke with confidence, "This has to be one of the boss's abilities! It turns transparent when attacked. No need to panic. Once its transparency wears off, we'll be able to damage it."

"Exactly! It has to be that!" Dr. Legendary asserted with self-assurance.

Meanwhile, Zhang Ze and Lau Yueying were already on the offensive against the Death Butcher.

"Make it quick, my Illusion only lasts an hour!" Midsummer Night Dream declared, standing still as he caressed the crystal ball in his hands. Through the orb, he could clearly see Dr. Legendary, the Night Elf, and the others.

Indeed, the Death Butcher that they were all confronting was nothing more than an Illusion conjured by Midsummer Night Dream.

Lau Yueying glanced at Zhang Ze and whispered, "What's your plan for taking down the Death Butcher?"

"We can't just charge in blindly!" Zhang Ze, chin in hand, eyed the Death Butcher across from them. "We know nothing about this boss. We need to understand his weaknesses first."

With that, Zhang Ze summoned the Iron Tooth Wolf.

"Watch out, Iron Tooth Wolf!" Lau Yueying gasped as the creature materialized behind Zhang Ze, her face blanching with fear. She instantly readied herself for combat!

Zhang Ze quickly intervened, "Easy, it's one of mine. The Iron Tooth Wolf is an ally, not an enemy."

"You summoned this Iron Tooth Wolf?" Lau Yueying was astounded. She was aware that Zhang Ze's summoning could bring forth monsters, but the idea of him summoning a boss was beyond her expectations.

In that moment, Lau Yueying's appreciation for Zhang Ze's Innate Skill deepened, sensing its tremendous potential.

Before she could fully recover from her astonishment, Zhang Ze went on to summon the Heaven Swallowing Frog and the Goblin King. Lau Yueying's jaw dropped in disbelief.

"Unbelievable, you've managed to summon the bosses from the first, second, and third levels!" she exclaimed, her eyes wide with amazement.

Zhang Ze remained composed, offering a reassuring smile. "Since I haven't taken on the fourth level's bosses yet, we only have the ones from the first three levels. But together, I think we stand a chance against the Death Butcher, don't you?"

Surveying the summoned creatures behind Zhang Ze, which included the three major bosses, two Rock Goblins, and a Poisonous Spider, Lau Yueying pondered their odds. "With a bit of luck, we might just be able to defeat this boss."

Zhang Ze nodded, "Hold off on attacking for now. Let's have the Iron Tooth Wolf gauge the Death Butcher's strength. We'll observe his skills and then tailor our strategy accordingly."

Lau Yueying naturally had no objections. She nodded in agreement.

"Iron Tooth Wolf, attack the Death Butcher!" commanded Zhang Ze. With a howl, the Iron Tooth Wolf charged at the Death Butcher.

As soon as the Iron Tooth Wolf stepped into the Death Butcher's range, it was spotted. The Death Butcher, brandishing his dual blades, charged wildly at the wolf!

The Death Butcher was massive, his body a mass of flab. Each of his steps made the earth quake. Zhang Ze guessed that he must weigh at least a ton!
