Lau Yueying and Zhang Ze tensely watched the clash between the Iron Tooth Wolf and the Death Butcher!

At that moment, the Iron Tooth Wolf had leveled up to the second tier, boasting combat power on par with the Goblin King. Yet, they were uncertain who would prevail between the Iron Tooth Wolf and the Death Butcher.

The outcome quickly became clear. The Iron Tooth Wolf's claw strike inflicted just over a hundred points of damage on the Death Butcher!

In contrast, a single slash from the Death Butcher dealt the Iron Tooth Wolf over three hundred points of damage!

The stronger combatant was evident.

"The Death Butcher truly is the boss of the Death Domain. He's a cut above the rest!" Zhang Ze mused.

Worriedly, Lau Yueying suggested, "The Iron Tooth Wolf is outmatched. We should step in and assist. Otherwise, it won't last long against the Death Butcher."

Her assessment was spot-on. After just a few exchanges, the Iron Tooth Wolf's Blood Volume had plummeted to a mere third, and the Death Butcher hadn't even unleashed his skills yet!

"Poisonous Spider, entangle the Death Butcher!" commanded Zhang Ze. The Poisonous Spider cast its web, immobilizing the Death Butcher. Seizing the moment, Zhang Ze pulled the Iron Tooth Wolf back.

Continuing the fight would risk the Iron Tooth Wolf's demise.

However, in its current battle state, the Iron Tooth Wolf couldn't regenerate its Blood Volume. Even if Zhang Ze returned it to the Summon Space, it wouldn't heal.

"If only we had a support member on our team, we could sustain the fight much longer," Zhang Ze lamented.

"I actually have a friend who specializes in support, but she's not here," Lau Yueying said with a hint of regret.

Money Little Princess possessed a Level A Innate Skill called Green Blessing, capable of restoring Blood Volume. She was often a lifesaver for her teammates at crucial moments, a truly competent priest.

Meanwhile, the Death Butcher, ensnared in the web, bellowed in rage. Zhang Ze directed the Heaven Swallowing Frog and the Rock Goblin to attack from a distance, but their damage to the Death Butcher was minimal.

The Heaven Swallowing Frog could inflict roughly 200 points of damage on the Death Butcher, while the Rock Goblin was only capable of dealing tens of points of damage.

Zhang Ze's attacks barely scratched the Death Butcher.

"I'm going to kill you all! I want to eat your flesh!" Out of nowhere, the Death Butcher bellowed in rage, startling both Zhang Ze and Lau Yueying.

"He can speak our language?" Zhang Ze exclaimed in astonishment. It was his first time hearing a monster talk.

"My Sixth Uncle told me that the monsters from higher levels of the Devil Domain are more intelligent," Lau Yueying explained. "They can even speak our language, making them incredibly tough to beat."

Zhang Ze nodded, thinking to himself, "I just hope the Death Butcher isn't too smart. Otherwise, he'll be even harder to handle!"

When the spider web's effect wore off, the Death Butcher charged straight at Zhang Ze. In a panic, Zhang Ze commanded the Goblin King to engage in combat, while also directing the Iron Tooth Wolf to provide support.

Lau Yueying, brandishing her Western Sword, turned to Zhang Ze and declared, "I'm going in to help!" With that, she dashed into the fray.

Zhang Ze was left to hold the line with the Heaven Swallowing Frog, the Rock Goblin, and the other Summon Monsters, focusing on ranged attacks from the rear.

The Goblin King was somewhat stronger than the Iron Tooth Wolf, but still outmatched by the Death Butcher. Their advantage lay in numbers, coupled with the formidable power of Lau Yueying's Innate Skill. After an intense battle, they managed to reduce the Death Butcher's Blood Volume by half!

"Curse you!" The Death Butcher roared, crossing his blades and unleashing a skill on the Goblin King.

"The Goblin King has been hit by the Death Butcher's skill, reducing its attack, defense, and speed by 20% each!"

"Death Butcher's skill is seriously impressive!" Zhang Ze gasped as the Death Butcher executed his Bone Crusher skill, nearly finishing off the Goblin King.

After striking the Goblin King, the Death Butcher turned and launched another skill at the Iron Tooth Wolf, hurling one of his long blades with such force that it buried itself deep in the wolf's chest.

The Iron Tooth Wolf howled in agony as its health was completely depleted. It collapsed lifelessly to the ground, its body dissolving into a puff of black smoke that vanished without a trace.

"Your Iron Tooth Wolf has fallen to the Death Butcher's skill attack. It's dead!"

Zhang Ze's mouth hung open in astonishment. The Death Butcher possessed not one, but two skills, and his thrown knife had just instantly slain the Iron Tooth Wolf!

Despite the pang of loss, Zhang Ze knew there was no time for sorrow. They had to muster all their strength to defeat the Death Butcher. If all the bosses under his command were to fall, they too would meet their end at the hands of the Death Butcher.

Lau Yueying, teeth clenched, launched a furious assault on the Death Butcher's back. She seized the moment while his focus was on the Goblin King, aiming to inflict as much damage as possible.

"Come on, we've got this!" Zhang Ze shouted, rallying the troops.

Midsummer Night Dream, who was manipulating the Illusion, called out, "What's the status? I can keep this up for another half hour, but you need to move fast!"

Meanwhile, Dr. Legendary, Harrison, and two others continued to besiege the Illusion of the Death Butcher, biding their time until the skill expired.

Zhang Ze had no time to reply to Midsummer Night Dream; he was busy directing the Goblin King and the Poisonous Spider. Whenever the Death Butcher unleashed a skill, Zhang Ze had the Poisonous Spider ensnare him with webs, while the Goblin King evaded the attacks.

With no target in sight, the Death Butcher's skill fizzled out. That was Zhang Ze's cue to send the Goblin King back into the fray.

Their unorthodox strategy was paying off; they had whittled down another 20% of the Death Butcher's health.

Now, the Death Butcher was left with just about 30% of his health.

"Light Slash!" Lau Yueying, filled with hope, felt as though she could glimpse the first light of victory.

But in that instant, the Death Butcher spun around. He sent Lau Yueying flying with a swift blow and scaled the bell tower with surprising agility, his bulky frame belying his nimble movements.

"What's happening?" Zhang Ze's face registered complete astonishment. Lau Yueying's eyes also went wide with disbelief as she exclaimed, "Is he trying to make a run for it?"

Monsters fleeing wasn't unheard of; Zhang Ze had previously encountered a Goblin that had attempted to escape.

Lau Yueying had explained that the higher a monster's level, the smarter it was. So, the idea of the Death Butcher fleeing wasn't all that bizarre.

Yet, the Death Butcher's subsequent actions took both Zhang Ze and Lau Yueying by surprise once again.

Perched atop the bell tower, he swung his legs casually over the edge. Clutching an enormous chicken leg, he began to devour it with voracious bites!
