C1 The Plot Is Not Right

The Cloud Heaven Continent was comprised of five major landmasses: East, South, West, North, and Central. Among these, the East Continent was home to the Dust Ending Palace, one of the four major powers.

Yeh Hongchen, clad in white with distinctive red trim on his shoulders, signified his status as a core disciple of the Dust Ending Palace. Across from him stood a fellow disciple, similarly attired, suggesting he too was a core member of the palace. Yet, his gaze upon Yeh Hongchen was one devoid of warmth.

"Yeh Hongchen, what are you without your prestigious background? Without your identity, you'd be nothing here at the Dust Ending Palace," the young man challenged.

Yeh Hongchen's face remained impassive as he replied, "Oh? Is that so? Repeat that for me."

"Fine! I'll say it again. Aren't you just lucky to have a powerful father and a privileged upbringing? If you were a commoner, you'd probably never reach my level of skill," the young man retorted, his words laced with envy.

Upon hearing this, Yeh Hongchen's stoic visage gave way to a smile. "Excellent, that's exactly what I enjoy hearing," he said, much to the other's astonishment.

The young man was momentarily speechless, then, flustered and furious, he lunged at Yeh Hongchen without a second thought.

But before he could lay a finger on Yeh Hongchen, he found himself suspended in mid-air, immobilized, his limbs firmly seized.

"Go easy on him. A lesson will suffice; spare his life," Yeh Hongchen instructed coolly.

"As you wish, Young Master!" A burly man grasped the young man's wrists and ankles, hoisting him overhead and walking off into the distance. Soon after, distant cries of distress filled the air, which Yeh Hongchen ignored as he strolled away, hands clasped behind his back.

Once within his own domain, the air of indifference that had graced Yeh Hongchen's features vanished. He walked with a steady, undistracted gaze, outwardly composed as an old hound, yet inwardly, he was utterly bewildered.

"There's something off about this storyline! Could it be that I've transmigrated incorrectly?" Yeh Hongchen mused to himself. As a transmigrator, he was not encountering the familiar plot he expected.

Instead of being the one on the verge of a broken engagement, with a lowly heritage, his background was nothing short of prestigious!

Yeh Hongchen, the prime disciple of the Dust Ending Palace, was also the sole heir of the palace master, Yeh Tianjue!

Moreover, his talents were far from mediocre. In fact, he was a prodigy. At just sixteen, he had already reached the pinnacle of the late Innate Stage, also known as the Celestial Stars Stage. He was recognized as one of the four great prodigies of the East Continent, the Mortal World Young Master!

On the Cloud Heaven Continent, where martial arts reigned supreme, the cultivation system was ranked from the lowest to the highest: Acquired Stage, Innate Stage, Golden Core Stage, Nascent Infant Stage, Transcendency Stage, Spirit Separating Stage, and Mahayana Stage.

Within the Acquired Stage, there were three levels: Body Refining, Blood Refining, and Qi Refining.

The Innate Stage comprised the Prana Stage, the Earthly Spirits Stage, and the Celestial Stars Stage.

The Golden Core Stage included the Core Forming Stage, the Pill Hugging Stage, and the Quintessence Stage.

The Nascent Infant Stage was divided into Nascent Coagulation, Nascent Refining, and Nascent Separation.

The realms beyond were unknown to Yeh Hongchen, especially since his adoptive father, Yeh Tianjue, had only reached the middle period of the Nascent Infant Stage.

"My lord, I have located the item you requested," announced the burly man who had caught up. "The White Spirit Cold Fire can be found in the southern region of the Crouching Dragon Abyss!"

Yeh Hongchen nodded with approval, "Excellent, your efficiency is commendable."

[Ding! The clock-in system is now active. Would you like to check in?]

Yeh Hongchen halted as the electronic voice, audible only to him, sounded in his ears.

"Ahu, head back first."
