C4 Cousin Brother Yeh Lingyun

Whoosh!

Just then, a streak of blue light flashed across the sky, plummeting like a shooting star!

Yeh Hongchen's gaze suddenly sparked to life. "It's arrived!"

True to his anticipation, the blue light descended with incredible speed, arriving directly above Yeh Hongchen in a blink.

"Not good, it's going to land right here!" Yeh Hongchen's azure eyes widened in alarm.

But at this proximity, even a full-force evasion would be futile!

Bang!

The blue light struck Yeh Hongchen squarely, sending him hurtling through the air before he crashed to the ground with a heavy thud!

As the blue light made contact with Yeh Hongchen, it vanished, leaving behind a series of strange blue patterns that emerged on his body.

Yeh Hongchen slowly rose from the ground, eyeing the blue markings on his skin, and murmured, "Is that all?"

He began to channel his cultivation technique, and a deep blue glow enveloped him.

The surrounding Spiritual Qi of Heaven and Earth swiftly converged into Yeh Hongchen's body. In under thirty seconds, three blue vortices materialized above his head.

These were Spiritual Qi vortices, which Yeh Hongchen could normally induce, but it would take a full five minutes!

Now, in just thirty seconds, he had accomplished what previously took him five minutes.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Ten minutes ticked by.

Eighteen Spiritual Qi vortices swirled above Yeh Hongchen's head! It's worth noting that each vortex signified that the spiritual energy had completed five full circuits.

And yet, creating additional vortices was a formidable challenge; most people could only manage to summon five at best.

Whoosh.

Yeh Hongchen let out a soft breath and opened his eyes, a flash of blue light darting across his gaze.

"This Meteor Tear is truly remarkable. Just a brief session of cultivation has already exceeded the gains of nearly a full day's effort."

A smile of satisfaction spread across Yeh Hongchen's face as he offered heartfelt praise, then he departed from Red Dust Peak.

Upon his return to the Inner Sect of the Palace, Yeh Hongchen noticed an unusual buzz of activity. Typically, at this hour, the Inner Sect was quiet, with most people secluded in their chambers, immersed in cultivation.

"Odd, who could have drained all the spiritual energy? It's completely vanished!"

"Exactly! Damn, if I find out who's behind this, I'll thrash them so badly even their own mother won't recognize them! I was this close to going berserk!"

"Junior Brother, shall we team up? I can help you pin him down!"

"Haha, Senior Brother, you're exaggerating!"

As Yeh Hongchen listened to their conversation, a wave of guilt washed over him.

He had a hunch about what had happened. His cultivation must have triggered an excess of spiritual energy whirlpools, drawing away the energy from the Inner Sect!

"Yeh Hongchen."

Just then, a voice reached his ears, sending a jolt through his heart.

He couldn't shake the feeling of being caught red-handed!

Turning his gaze, he spotted an eighteen-year-old youth. While not as striking as himself, the young man had a distinguished air about him.

Yeh Lingyun, his cousin.

Suppressing a yawn, Yeh Hongchen responded with a lack of enthusiasm, "Cousin, what can I do for you?"

"Yeh Hongchen, do you have the courage to duel me one-on-one?" The intensity in Yeh Lingyun's eyes was unmatched.

Half a month prior, he and Mo Rann were leading contenders for the title of Young Palace Lord at the Dust Ending Palace.

Yet, out of the blue, Yeh Hongchen had emerged and single-handedly claimed the title for himself.
