C4 In the Fourdirection City

Innate Dao Body?

Ding Yi was startled and quickly employed his Heaven Spying Divine Eye to inspect his personal data.

[Name]: Ding Yi

[Race]: Human

[Age]: 16

[Realm]: Profound Fantasy Side: Mortal. Science Fiction Side: First Generation

[Current Strength]: Spiritual General

[Main Cultivation]: Profound Fantasy Side: None. Science Fiction Side: Control of the Five Elements: Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, Earth

[Notes]: First, pregnant and malnourished, urgent nutritional replenishment needed. Second, Innate Dao Body has been deteriorating for many years.

"What's the matter?" Huang Yuzhu, noticing something off about Ding Yi, quickly extended her hand and placed her jade palm on his abdomen, channeling her energy into him.

"Mmm~"

Ding Yi let out a soft moan. The Queen was tenderly transferring her soothing power to him, an incredibly delightful sensation.

Particularly the softness behind him, which grew even more comforting as her arms wrapped around him...

It made him instinctively tuck his head in.

"Umm!" Huang Yuzhu stifled a moan, hastily covering her mouth to keep silent.

Despite holding her breath, her ears flushed with embarrassment.

It was her first time savoring the exquisite feeling of holding him close, so much so that she entertained the thought of continuing indefinitely.

The young man's impeccable form in her embrace brought her a profound sense of contentment.

Each of his expressions seemed to stir her emotions, setting her pulse racing.

"If you can't resist, don't suppress it. It's bad for your health. If you get too overwhelmed, how will you and the child claim what's owed to us?" Ding Yi said, looking up.

While speaking, he removed his ornate crown, allowing his hair to cascade freely.

"Ah?" Huang Yuzhu was taken aback.

Given the differences between men and women, how could she brazenly press herself against the young man?

Ding Yi challenged her, "You were so daring before, but now you're timid?"

"That day... I couldn't resist," Huang Yuzhu confessed.

At that time, she was already gravely injured, and the effects of the medicine had clouded her mind, leaving her little concern for propriety.

When she came to, everything was already over.

"I remember you were quite fierce and aggressive back then," Ding Yi mercilessly dredged up the past. "Considering how far things have gone, there's no need for you to hold back now."

He made up his mind to... well, to make an effort to get along with the Queen.

"No, I can't keep treating you with such impropriety."

Huang Yuzhu grew even more self-conscious after Ding Yi's reminder and quickly urged him to lie back down.

Despite feeling a bit hollow inside, she was relieved.

But then, her body shuddered as she looked down to find the young man resting his head on her thigh.

When he looked up at her, she swiftly averted her gaze as if nothing was amiss.

"Why won't you look at me?" Ding Yi inquired. "Do you think I'm a womanizer?"

"Not at all," Huang Yuzhu quickly retorted.

"The past is behind us. As the sovereign of the empire, it's an honor for me to offer my assistance," Ding Yi said with an easy smile. "I've forgiven you."

Forgiven me?

Huang Yuzhu's gaze lingered on the carriage's ornate interior, momentarily taken aback, then she chided herself silently: How could that be? Surely, it's my status as the ruler that's key to being 'forgiven.'

With my position, who would dare cross me?

The young man's serene demeanor must be a facade, she thought.

Noticing her silence, Ding Yi knew he had achieved his aim and simply needed to wait for the fruits of his effort.

With a thought, he acted.

He seized the opportunity to mend the Innate Dao Body!

With a pop, an unseen energy radiated from him, breaking some unseen shackles.

[Beep! You've astonished the Queen for the first time and have earned the Thunderbolt Devouring Divine Art. Would you like to claim it?]

"Innate Dao Body!" Huang Yuzhu exclaimed in astonishment, her lips forming an 'O.'

After their intimate encounter, she had noticed her injuries were significantly healed and had realized that the young man possessed a "Profound Yang Body."

It seemed I had misjudged the situation. The young man before me was not merely a Profound Yang Body, but an Innate Dao Body, infinitely more powerful!

Such thoughts should not occupy my mind...

Pui! Pui! Forgive me!

"Take me to the surface; I sense the heavenly tribulation approaching," Ding Yi declared, rising to his full height, his long hair fluttering, a slight smile gracing his handsome features.

"But..."

"My decision is final."

"You..." Huang Yuzhu's eyes shimmered with hesitation. After a brief pause, she resignedly sighed, "Understood."

She then retrieved an assortment of items from her Storage Ring—pills, armor, Treasure Clothes, swords, and more, all hovering in the air.

Ding Yi glanced over them, nonchalantly selected a porcelain bottle with a pill, donned a set of Treasure Clothes, armored himself, and after a moment's hesitation, chose an excellent sword.

"I've made my selection," he announced.

Acknowledging his choice, Huang Yuzhu stepped forward to adjust his attire. Her fingertips brushed his forehead, imparting a wealth of information about the upcoming tribulation. She then drew several strands of his essence from his nose and infused them into the Treasure Clothes, armor, and sword.

"Concentrate on your tribulation; don't worry about your surroundings," she advised.

"Thank you."

Ding Yi appreciated the gesture, thinking to himself, "Talk about full service! The Queen truly knows her stuff."

He had learned plenty of theory back at the Ding residence, but without a word from him, the Queen had proactively taken care of everything.

What a relief!

Huang Yuzhu replied, "It's my duty."

Moments later...

Huang Yuzhu escorted Ding Yi to a lower altitude, above a vast circular lake spanning over ten miles in diameter.

With a sweep of her sleeve, a chilling aura cascaded down, instantly freezing the lake's surface and spreading rapidly.

Within moments, an area hundreds of feet across was encased in ice.

"Yuzhu, you should step back now," Ding Yi suggested, once he was securely positioned on the ice, signaling to Huang Yuzhu.

After the other had departed, he gazed steadfastly at the dome above. The sky was shrouded in dark clouds, with lightning flashing and thunder booming, casting eerie, twisting snakes of light that appeared sporadically. The atmosphere was charged with tension as the world flickered between light and dark.

Huang Yuzhu watched the solitary figure standing on the icy surface below and touched her abdomen, her expression fraught with anxiety. She had provided the young man with a top-grade Spirit Item, yet there was no certainty that it would enable him to survive the Thunder Tribulation.

The Qian Sun Continent was home to numerous cultivation systems, each with its unique methods. Despite their differences, they all aimed for the same goal: to transcend the mortal realm and ascend to immortality.

The hierarchy of Cultivators ranged from Spirit Knight to Spirit General, Spirit King, Spirit Master, Spirit Sect, Spirit Monarch, Spirit Sovereign, Spirit Saint, and finally, Spirit Emperor. Typically, a cultivator would not face the Heavenly Tribulation until they were on the cusp of becoming a Spirit General. However, those with Special Physiques or unique bloodlines were more likely to face their first Thunder Tribulation upon transcending to the rank of Spirit Knight.

The young man's case was even more exceptional. His Special Physique, once severely damaged by unknown causes, had been restored. Yet the will of heaven and earth either did not permit this or had not yet recognized the recovery of his physique. As a result, he faced the Thunder Tribulation as a mortal!

"I won't let you be harmed again," Huang Yuzhu murmured as she surveyed the distant horizon. Powerful beings were already drawing near, drawn by the unfolding events. Clearly, some had been observing her from a distance, their curiosity piqued when she halted her carriage at the onset of the Heavenly Tribulation.

With a frosty expression, she unleashed her power once more to cloak the young man's true nature, ensuring that onlookers would only perceive a Thunder Tribulation for the repair of a Profound Yang Body, not the exceedingly rare Innate Dao Body. Such a physique emerged perhaps once in a hundred thousand years, and despite her formidable presence, she could not fully protect the young man from prying eyes. If it were merely a matter of the Profound Yang Body, no one would dare to cross a Great Monarch over it.
