C16 Sudden Incident
The first day of work passed by in such a dull manner. Although everyone in the hospital was very busy and had their own patients, no one seemed to have seen Lee Minghao. They were all busy with their own things, so Lee Minghao had a dull day.
After leaving the hospital, Lee Minghao felt that his medical knowledge was quite rich. However, he did not have the ability to practice it. He found a small clinic not far away and wanted to help himself by practicing.
"Physician Xu, I want to work under you and train myself. Can I?"
Lee Minghao looked at the middle-aged man sitting in front of the table in the Xu family clinic, looking at the medical records in his hands.
This Physician Xu was almost fifty years old. He was the chief physician of a provincial hospital before he left the hospital and opened a clinic. He usually helped the residents in his neighborhood treat their illnesses. Not to mention the major illnesses, the minor illnesses were basically cured with medicine. In this area, he was also known as a godly doctor.
"Have you studied medicine before?" Only then did Physician Xu put down the medical records in his hands. He raised his head and looked at Lee Minghao. After waiting for a long time, he asked slowly.
Lee Minghao hurriedly nodded. "Yes, I have. Today is my first day at the hospital. I thought that I wouldn't have the chance to practice, so I thought of you to train me."
Hearing the words "hospital", the expression in Physician Xu's eyes when he looked at Lee Minghao became a little unnatural. Although he shook his head and sighed to himself.
Physician Xu's actions surprised Lee Minghao. Why did he look like this when he heard that he was working at the hospital?
"Alright, come to my clinic after work every day. Basically, I still have patients here until eleven o'clock at night." Physician Xu turned to Lee Minghao again and said.
"Alright, thank you."
Lee Minghao did not expect Physician Xu to agree so readily. Not only could he face many patients in this clinic, even though most of them were minor illnesses, they were still very important to him. After all, it was a journey for him to gain experience.
After dinner, the clinic was still very busy. Although there weren't many patients seeking treatment, many patients who were receiving infusion would come over at this time. After Physician Xu agreed to Lee Minghao's request, Lee Minghao was called over by a middle-aged woman to help.
After half an hour, Lee Minghao finally helped Sister Zhang hang all the infusion tubes up. Lee Minghao straightened his aching waist and looked at the infusion room. Other than three or four patients whom he had never seen before, he had seen all the other patients.
The person who left the deepest impression on Lee Minghao was an old man with a congenital heart disease. After resting for a while, he went over to ask.
After asking about the condition, he quickly took the stethoscope and wanted to see the situation. Then, he looked at the medicine that Physician Xu gave him and learned from his experience.
After all, most of the patients who came to the clinic were those who had gone to the hospital. Those who could come to the clinic were those who had more trust in the clinic. Therefore, those who had suitable medical cases to study would naturally have to study them carefully.
Physician Xu watched Lee Minghao's every move from the side. He nodded his head in satisfaction. There were not many people like Lee Minghao who were willing to study seriously.
Seeing that Lee Minghao was examining him, the old man smiled and said, "Young man, you are Physician Xu's new disciple, right?"
Lee Minghao smiled as he listened, "Old man, you just came here today. I want to take Physician Xu as my master, but I'm not sure if he will accept me as his disciple."
"Oh... Not bad. Physician Xu's medical skills are very good. If you follow him and learn from him, you will have a bright future. If you want to be his disciple, I can still help you a little. I don't know if you can become his disciple." After saying that, the old man smiled at his son who was beside him. "Look at how easy it is for this young doctor to learn. I know that he will definitely be a good doctor in the future."
Lee Minghao did not appreciate the old man's words. After all, it was not easy to become a disciple of a doctor. A doctor had to have a benevolent heart. Without a benevolent heart, the doctor would easily pass his medical skills to an outsider, let alone a young man who had just arrived.
After walking around, he noticed that all the patients were fine. Lee Minghao was relieved. He continued to look through the medicine manual in the consultation room.
Lee Minghao was not very familiar with the classification of the medicine, so he continued to flip through the book and mark it down as he read it carefully.
Suddenly, a panicked cry interrupted Lee Minghao's train of thought. "Physician Xu, Physician Xu, come quickly. What's wrong with my dad?"
