C4 Godfather
The entire hall fell silent in an instant.
Shen Lu was dumbfounded, asking in confusion, "Hubby, what's gotten into you?"
"What's wrong?"
Du Bin was on the verge of losing his mind with frustration. "You're showing absolutely no respect to this gentleman!"
"I brought him up to you recently, remember? He's Hsu Yunxiao's son-in-law. He ticked me off, and you even said you'd back me up in teaching him a lesson," Shen Lu explained.
Du Bin was taken aback.
Hsu Yunxiao was known as the most beautiful woman in Lake City, making her son-in-law quite a notable figure.
It was him all along!
How on earth does he have a Black Dragon Card?
Could it be a counterfeit?
Du Bin's expression soured as he regarded Qin Feng. Recalling the deference he'd shown Qin Feng earlier, he felt utterly humiliated.
"Security!"
He summoned several guards, barking, "This man is causing a disturbance. Throw him out!"
While speaking, he signaled the guards with a meaningful glance, silently instructing them to rough Qin Feng up.
"Don't!"
Shen Lu scoffed, "Hubby, he's here to withdraw money. You should check his bank card. I just made a bet with him! We have plenty of witnesses."
"Ah, I see."
Du Bin couldn't help but smirk.
He passed the bank card to a staff member.
Du Bin and Shen Lu stood to the side, eagerly anticipating the embarrassment to come.
The staff member was flabbergasted, staring at the computer screen in utter disbelief, speechless.
Du Bin, growing impatient, demanded, "What's the hold-up? Does his card actually have eight million?"
"Yes," the staff member uttered, still in shock.
Shen Lu burst into laughter, taunting Qin Feng, "You've lost! No backing out now, with all these people as witnesses."
She paused, turning to the staff member, "What did you just say?"
"I'm sorry, the account balance is confidential," the staff member replied.
She glanced at Du Bin.
Du Bin strode over to her.
His jaw dropped when he saw the balance on Qin Feng's card.
It took a moment for him to compose himself. He rushed over to Qin Feng, bowing deeply, "Mr. Qin, I am so very sorry."
"Hubby, does his card really have eight million? Don't kid around, that's just not possible!" Shen Lu protested.
Fuming, Du Bin slapped her once more, yelling, "Apologize to Mr. Qin, now!"
Black Dragon Card!
Eight hundred million!
Qin Feng was an untouchable VIP!
And she had dragged him into this mess!
The crowd around them was equally dumbstruck.
Qin Feng actually had eight million on his card?
It was almost too incredible to believe!
Seeing Shen Lu still in shock, Du Bin, frantic with worry, urged, "You made a bet with Mr. Qin, didn't you? Get down on your knees and call him 'daddy'!"
Shen Lu was bewildered once more.
"Kneel down now!"
Du Bin was nearly in tears with urgency, slapping Shen Lu's face again.
Shen Lu snapped to her senses, realizing things were going south fast. She tried to leave, but as she stepped away, Du Bin grabbed her, "Where do you think you're going? Call out, now!"
He was desperate.
If she ran, he'd be in deep trouble.
Left with no choice, Shen Lu knelt trembling on the ground, her face flushed with embarrassment, and called out to Qin Feng, "Dad."
"Disgusting."
Qin Feng looked at her with contempt, "I have no interest in a trash daughter like you. Sing me a song instead."
Shen Lu's eyes widened in disbelief. "Qin Feng, you're being unreasonable!"
Du Bin smacked the back of her head once more, "Sing, now!"
Tears streamed down Shen Lu's face.
She might not fear Qin Feng, but the unhinged Du Bin terrified her. With a ghostly pale face, she began to sing.
Laughter rippled through the hall.
"Withdraw the money," Qin Feng instructed the staff, enjoying the song.
The Black Dragon Card allowed for unlimited immediate withdrawals without any need for appointments. Even if he wanted to withdraw a hundred million, the bank had to comply within half an hour.
Shortly afterward, Qin Feng walked out carrying two large suitcases full of cash, not sparing Shen Lu and Du Bin a second glance, and left with composure.
As soon as he was gone, Shen Lu bolted.
The shame was too much to bear!
Qin Feng also departed, placing the cash suitcases on the back seat of his electric bike, and headed for Hsu Yunxiao's company.
He had considered a wire transfer.
But without knowing the company's account details, cash was his only option.
Upon reaching the company, a Land Rover pulled up at the entrance. A man in a suit stepped out, clutching a bouquet of roses and spritzing on some cologne.
Qin Feng recognized him.
His name was Yang Junchao, a well-traveled returnee. His father owned a company valued at twenty million, and he had previously pursued Hsu Yunxiao.
"Still pining for my wife?" Qin Feng blocked Yang Junchao's path with his electric bike.
"You're Yunxiao's good-for-nothing husband!" Yang Junchao sneered with a smug grin, "You've got it all wrong this time. It was your wife who called me. Her company's in trouble, and I'm the only one who can help her."
"I'll handle my wife's issues. That's not your concern. Leave!" Qin Feng's voice was icy.
"What issues can you possibly handle? She needs millions, and you don't even have a few hundred to your name, right?" Yang Junchao sneered. "Your wife needs me. And if something were to happen between us, don't get mad. It's your own fault for being broke and useless!"
Qin Feng's brow furrowed, and he spoke deliberately, "Are you asking for death?"
"You think you can take me on? I've been training in Taekwondo for years, and I've earned a black belt, eighth dan. I could take on ten men without breaking a sweat. Do you really think you stand a chance?" Yang Junchao boasted with a smug laugh.
"Let's put that to the test," Qin Feng retorted, his tone dripping with contempt.
"Fine, but if I end up crippling you, don't blame me." Yang Junchao struck a classic Taekwondo pose, a thrill of anticipation coursing through him. If he could put Qin Feng in the hospital, he'd have a clear path to Hsu Yunxiao.
But before Yang Junchao could make a move, Qin Feng was upon him like a whirlwind, delivering a punishing blow to his abdomen!
In an instant, Yang Junchao felt his insides churn violently.
Qin Feng seized his hair and smashed his face against his knee.
Blood sprayed everywhere.
Stunned, Yang Junchao's mind went blank. He hadn't anticipated Qin Feng's ferocity and brutality.
He couldn't muster a defense, let alone catch his breath.
Qin Feng's martial arts were lethal, designed to kill, not for show.
Every strike Qin Feng delivered was meant to incapacitate or kill.
Once, a Western boxing champion had challenged Qin Feng to a duel to the death. With just three moves, Qin Feng had ended the man's life.
"Stop, please! I was wrong," Yang Junchao pleaded from the ground, writhing in agony.
To him, Qin Feng was as terrifying as the grim reaper.
"You think you can win over my wife with those pathetic skills? Get out of here!" Qin Feng sneered.
Yang Junchao scrambled into his car and fled.
Qin Feng muttered to himself, "Seems there are plenty more out there eyeing my wife. Well, I'll take on anyone who dares to try!"
He then called Old Fu: "Look up someone named Yang Junchao. I want him begging on the streets."
"Got it," Old Fu replied crisply, and hung up.
Qin Feng entered the corporate office building.
"There he is, that's Director Hsu's husband."
"I've heard he's just a househusband, always cooking and cleaning."
"It's such a shame for Director Hsu. She's Lake City's top beauty, and yet she's married to a freeloader."
The female employees, clad in their business attire, gossiped as he passed.
He was accustomed to their whispers and chose to ignore them.
With two suitcases full of money in hand, Qin Feng made his way to Hsu Yunxiao's office amidst the murmurs.
