C11 He Had Obtained the Solar Mantras

"Su Chen, are you considering recruiting the Condor Hero into our organization?" Zhang Sanfeng inquired.

"Indeed, if they're willing, I'd like to invite them to join. Not just Yang Guo and Xiaolongnü, but potentially the Five Unique as well. However, I think we'll pass on Guo Jing; he's too inflexible for our group. Huang Rong might be a good fit, though she's already married. Bladefiend, on the other hand, would be an excellent addition. Let's start with these for now; you might not be familiar with the rest."

Upon hearing this, Zhang Sanfeng's expression turned grave. "Su Chen, who are you, truly?" The Five Unique have passed on, as has Hero Guo. How could Su Chen possibly recruit them? Does he possess the mythical power to raise the dead?

Zhang Wuji, observing his forefather's stern demeanor, also grew tense.

"I'm Su Chen! Haven't I explained this before?" Su Chen responded, clearly baffled.

"I'm asking about your background."

"From Ekranbu, in Xian Province, Block 8, 13th floor, Apartment 6."

"And what is this place?"

"Immortal Island, overseas."

Zhang Sanfeng sighed, feeling as if he was getting nowhere. "Do you have the ability to bring back the dead?"

"Not currently, but perhaps in the future." Su Chen admitted candidly that he lacked such a power now, but the future was uncertain.

"Do you truly possess the power to resurrect?" Zhang Sanfeng pressed, setting aside all notions of propriety. "Su Chen, are you actually a deity?"

"No, I'm merely a mortal," Su Chen said, with no intention of concealing the truth. He knew he couldn't hide his limitations.

"But how can you revive the dead?"

"As I've said, it's not possible now, but maybe one day." Su Chen was at a loss. What was Zhang Sanfeng trying to ascertain? "Just tell me what you want to know. You're the one who addresses me as Immortal, yet you seek confirmation that I'm not a god."

"I'm curious, how do you recruit someone who has already passed away into your organization?"

"It's quite straightforward! Just as with you, I assess their character and martial virtues first, then seek their consent. If both parties are in agreement, then it's settled," Su Chen replied nonchalantly. The process was simple, and there was no secret about it. When I, Su Chen, choose individuals, it's enough that they meet my approval.

"But they've already died!"

"They have died," Su Chen said, suddenly understanding what Zhang Sanfeng was getting at. "They may have died in this world, but they continue to live on in others."

Zhang Sanfeng stood up abruptly, his gaze fixed on Su Chen. "Do you mean to say that you can travel to other worlds?"

"Yes, I am merely a transient visitor here. I hail from beyond this realm, so you might consider me an extraterrestrial guest. Rest assured, I harbor no malice toward this world," Su Chen stated with composure. It was a matter of time before this came to light, and there was nothing worth concealing.

"Are there truly other worlds?" Zhang Sanfeng mused for a while before posing the question.

"There are," confirmed Su Chen with a nod.

"What are these other worlds like?" Zhang Sanfeng slowly withdrew his vital energy, steadying his emotions, his curiosity about these other realms growing.

"That's a lengthy tale. Some worlds are similar to yours, with martial cultivation, imperial courts, and martial communities. Others advance through technology—do you know of the Mo family's mechanical arts? Here, it would be akin to the Dao of Material Sciences. Technology and the Dao are quite comparable. Then there are the realms of Qi Cultivators, also known as cultivators for immortality, each striving for perfection within the cosmos, mastering the stars, each incredibly powerful. And there are worlds beyond your knowledge, so foreign that I'm at a loss for how to explain them to you—worlds of magic, Dou Qi, Soul Power, and more. Just understand that there are countless worlds out there, limited only by your imagination."

"Ah! Brother Su, are there really other worlds? How vast are they?" Zhang Wuji asked, his voice tinged with awe. Su Chen's explanation had profoundly challenged his worldview.

"Absolutely, your Brother Su is from another world—a vast one, though I can't say exactly how vast. When we get the chance, I'll show you around," Su Chen said with a smile, patting Zhang Wuji on the head.

"Really?" Zhang Wuji exclaimed with joy.

"Indeed, it's true." With my arrival, the tragedies of the original story will no longer occur. Hopefully, Zhang Wuji's childhood will now be smooth sailing!

"Forefather, Father and Mother are coming up," Zhang Wuji suddenly called out as Su Chen was lost in thought.

Zhang Cuishan and Yin Susu, both martial arts experts, swiftly ascended the rope. "Master, Young Master Su, Cuishan has not disappointed. As per your instructions, I have secured the scripture."

"Good, good, good, let me see it at once," Zhang Sanfeng said, his elation evident.

Zhang Cuishan produced the cloth inscribed with the Solar Mantras and respectfully presented it to Zhang Sanfeng. He then handed a bundle to Su Chen, saying, "Young Master Su, this is the Peach of Immortality."

As a Time Jumper, how could I not be aware of the Solar Mantras and the existence of such a spiritual thing? It would be foolish to pass up the opportunity.

"This is indeed the Solar Mantras; Wuji is saved," Zhang Sanfeng said, his happiness uncontainable after verifying the scripture.

"Is it truly so, Master?" Zhang Cuishan and Yin Susu asked, their faces alight with excitement.

"This is the authentic Solar Mantras book of secrets. It bears a striking resemblance to Wudang's Solar Mantras, yet it's even more esoteric," Zhang Sanfeng affirmed with a nod.

"Enough about the Solar Mantras. Sage Zhang, could you check this for me? Is this a quality item?" Su Chen inquired, twirling a bright red peach in his hand.

With a gesture, Zhang Sanfeng drew the peach into his palm and began a meticulous examination. Su Chen was taken aback by the display. Was this the skill of telekinesis? Quite an impressive feat.

"Good stuff!" After observing for a moment, Zhang Sanfeng gently stroked his beard and remarked.

"I'm aware it's valuable, but I'm curious about its effects." Su Chen wouldn't be interested if it weren't worthwhile, right?

"I'm not sure. You only find out after trying it." Zhang Sanfeng shook his head. His expertise was in martial arts, and he had some medical knowledge, but he hadn't encountered many spiritual things, so he couldn't be certain of their effects.

"Alright! You make a compelling point, and I can't argue with that. Here are seven peaches. Each of you take one, and we'll save the rest for later," Su Chen conceded.

"Isn't Young Master Su Chen going to have one?" Zhang Cuishan inquired, puzzled that Su Chen had distributed the peaches but hadn't taken one for himself.

"I'd like to, but as an outsider, I'm unsure if I can handle the food from your world. What if it poisons me?"

"Haha, Young Master Su Chen, you needn't worry," Zhang Sanfeng chuckled in response. "I've been observing your condition along the way. You're a bit frail, but otherwise, you're no different from us. Feel free to enjoy the Spirit Peach."

With the endorsement of Zhang Sanfeng, a revered master, Su Chen didn't hesitate any further. He had already considered that there were many worlds he wanted to visit and countless wonders to see. Was he to avoid them all? Zhang Sanfeng's words served as reassurance and gave Su Chen the affirmation he needed.
