"Our Glorious Martial Merchant House has successfully lobbied, and the Myriad Treasure Auction House has agreed to hold an auction right here in Tieling City, at our venue in just three days!" the shopkeeper announced with enthusiasm. "There will be auctions for high-grade Medicinal Pills and weapons, Yellow Rank mental cultivation methods, Yellow Rank Martial Skills, and even items of the Profound Rank!"

"Profound Rank items?"

Su Hai's excitement was palpable. "I must attend to experience the excitement and broaden my horizons!"

Turning to Su Ze, he added, "Shall we go together when the time comes?"

Su Ze nodded in agreement. "Sure."

He then pondered aloud to the manager, "Will all the major families in Tieling City be informed of this event?"

With a grin, the manager replied, "Absolutely. An event of this magnitude is a once-in-a-decade occurrence for Tieling City. Notifications have already been sent to the Pang, Fang, Jiang, and Su families. They're likely well aware by now."

"Shopkeeper, you manage to take care of all the families quite well. You've got a real knack for business."

Su Ze remarked offhandedly before he and Su Hai, along with three others, made their way back to the Su family home.

With an auction on the horizon, Su Ze felt no rush to purchase any Martial Skills just yet. He decided to wait for the auction to explore better options.

At the Su family's courtyard entrance, the group that had delivered the divorce papers to the Fang family was still there, animatedly sharing their exciting tales.

Su Ze gave them a cool look. "What's all this gathering about? Get back to your duties."

The group quickly responded, "Yes, Young Master Su Ze!" and scurried off to attend to their tasks.

Su Hai and the others trailed behind Su Ze, silently marveling at his composure and natural authority. His presence alone commanded the servants and guards to follow his orders without question.

They couldn't help but wonder, how did Su Ze seem more imposing than the family patriarch?

After returning to their respective branches, Su Hai and the others didn't linger and went straight to their fathers.

The Third Elder appeared troubled after hearing about the day's events from Su Hai, Su Chi, and Su Mo. "Are you sure you want to follow Su Ze's lead?"

"Yes, I believe Brother Suze is more capable, and he's a decent person," Su Mo chimed in. "Su Hee is always with us, spreading rumors about Brother Suze. Yet, when Brother Suze is around, he never speaks ill of the Grand Elder or Su Hee."

Su Hai and Su Chi nodded in agreement.

The Third Elder was still uncertain. "Su Zhongwu isn't much for cunning, but his son is clever and carries himself with distinction. I've been close to Su Bocheng since childhood, and now that Su Ze has broken ties with the Fang family, I wonder if his family can maintain the patriarch's position without their backing."

Meanwhile, the Fourth Elder faced his own dilemma as he regarded his son, Su Jiang.

Between Su Bocheng, Su Zhongwu, and the exceptionally talented Su Ze, he pondered, which side should he choose?

In another division of the Su family, Su Bocheng was receiving a report from the steward, Liu Hsing. His eyes narrowed, glinting with an icy light.

"So, you're saying Su Ze, Su Jiang, Su Hai, and the others returned in good spirits, sharing jokes and laughter?"

"Yes, Grand Elder," Liu Hsing confirmed. "While Su Jiang and the rest were present, I never found an opportune moment to act, hence I didn't report back."

"It doesn't matter now."

Liu Hsing looked on, astonished, as Su Bocheng spoke with a chilling tone, "It's irrelevant at this point. They're my brothers; I never once imagined they would falter."

"An Earth Spirit with a Low Grade Root Bone, mastering the Stone Breaking Palm even better than I do. Do you all truly believe so strongly in Su Ze's potential?"

His voice carried an unmistakable edge of lethal intent. "If that's the case, then it's you who have driven me to this!"

"If you hold him in such high regard, then I will not only ruin him but the entire Su family. What I cannot have, I would rather see destroyed."

"Grand Elder..."

Liu Hsing shivered, an icy dread enveloping him. What exactly was the Grand Elder planning?

"Exactly! We're going to wipe out the Su family!" The Fang family members snarled with clenched teeth, shouting in unison.

Faang Qingya joined in the cry, but for some reason, the image of Su Ze surfaced in her mind. Su Ze, who always gazed at her with a vacant stare and a goofy grin, who was always eager to go shopping with her.

Su Ze, I was the one who wronged you first.

But since you've shamed me to this extent, I have no choice but to kill you to erase the blemishes from my reputation.
