C3 The Night of the Annihilation

The days spent in school were tedious and dull. Haruno Hirome found his greatest joy in using his spare time to assist with patient care at the hospital. Though the compensation was modest, the opportunity to treat a few critically injured patients was still worthwhile.

On this particular day, after completing their hospital duties, he and his father, Haruno Choo, made their way home. The eerie silence of the streets gave Hirome a sense that something was amiss.

"Father, why is it so unusually quiet on the streets today?"

"Hmm! You're right. Why aren't the Uchiha family's security forces patrolling at this hour?" Haruno Choo pondered before responding.

"The Uchiha?"

It dawned on Hirome what was about to unfold—it must be the night of the clan's massacre! He was eager to enhance his abilities by witnessing the event, but lacking any means of self-defense, he realized he would have to let this chance pass by.

With a sigh, Hirome resigned himself to the situation and continued on his way home with his father.

Later that evening, after dinner, Hirome retreated to his room and summoned his Data Panel.

Host: Haruno Hirome

Abilities: God Level Healing Arts, Chakra Extraction (Low Ninja), Medicine Ninjutsu (Proficient), Physical Technique (Middle Ninja), Three-body Technique (Low Ninja), Kunai Throwing (Low Ninja)

Points: 0

"Alas, this level of power is more than sufficient for a student, but it's not enough to get involved in the clan's annihilation," he lamented.

Hirome could almost visualize the Uchiha family's myriad of abilities beckoning him. "If only I could use the God Level Healing Arts remotely, it would be ideal. To bestow God Level Healing Arts upon Uchiha Fugaku from afar would be perfect."

While the rest of the Uchiha clan didn't hold much allure for him, Uchiha Fugaku was different. He possessed the Mangekyo Sharingan. Hirome recalled numerous theories about Fugaku's Mangekyo Abilities from his past life, including the impressive claim that he could foresee the future. The conjectures were compelling and well-founded, stirring a sense of envy in Hirome.

"Ding! You have used God Level Healing Arts on Uchiha Fugaku, reviving him from a near-death state. You have acquired the Mangekyo Sharingan, Gougakyu Arts, Chakra (Elite Upper Ninja), and earned 9000 points."

Haruno Hirome, who had been feeling a bit down, was completely taken aback when he heard the system notification. 'God Level Healing Arts can be used remotely?'

Once he snapped out of his daze, Hirome quickly opened up the description of Uchiha Fugaku's Mangekyo Sharingan abilities.

Uchiha Fugaku's Mangekyo Sharingan Abilities:

Left eye: Divination, capable of predicting the future, including the trajectory of an opponent's attack and their use of Ninjutsu. It can also foresee certain future events, though this increases the strain on the eye.

Right eye: Annihilation, able to control a specific area to unleash a devastating explosion.

Special skill: Susanoo!

"Holy smokes! I've hit the jackpot; this is insanely powerful! Combined with my God Level Healing Arts, these abilities are just perfect!"

Hirome was lost in his daydreams as he read the description, imagining predicting an enemy's attacks and their location, then unleashing Annihilation with wild abandon. Who could stand against him?

And blindness? That's not even a concern. Did they think my God Level Healing Arts were just for show?

Mwahaha! I am invincible, invincible!

But what on earth is this points system?

Hirome scoured the system back and forth, scrutinizing it repeatedly, yet he couldn't find any hidden panels within the straightforward Data Panel.

Eventually, he had to let it go. The path will straighten itself out at the bridge, as they say. This was a reflection of Hirome's easygoing nature.

Meanwhile, at the Uchiha Fugaku residence, an intriguing event was unfolding.

Itachi, clutching his bloodied sword, was explaining to Sasuke that his actions were to test his own limits.

A flash of golden light enveloped Uchiha Fugaku, and the wound on his chest miraculously healed.

"Huh? Am I not dead? Itachi, what happened?"

The revived Uchiha Fugaku gazed at his son, bewildered, not understanding why Itachi had brought him back to life.

"Father, it's truly wonderful that you're alive!"

Sasuke had been in agony over the loss of his parents, but seeing his father miraculously come back to life filled him with immense joy.

However, before he could rush to his dear father, a spray of warm blood splattered across his face.

He instinctively touched it, and the warm, sticky sensation made his heart lurch.

Looking up at his father, he was shocked to see that his once-lively father was now spurting blood from his neck. Moments later, he collapsed with a thud.

"Stupid brother..."

He couldn't comprehend why his father had 'come back to life'; he clearly remembered the long blade piercing his father's heart. There was no way his father could have survived that!

But with Sasuke present, there was no time to dwell on these thoughts. He mercilessly struck down Uchiha Fugaku once more and proceeded with the necessary steps...

He initiated the Moon Reading to begin Sasuke's education!

Shortly after, Sasuke emerged from the Moon Reading World to once again witness his parents lying in a pool of blood, his eyes flashing red.

The sight, more tragic than anything in the original story, triggered the awakening of Sasuke's Sharingan.

It must be said, the awakening of the Sharingan can be quite brutal!

Overwhelmed by the harsh lesson, Sasuke couldn't get accustomed to his newly acquired Sharingan and promptly passed out.

Despite being haunted by the mystery of his father's sudden 'resurrection,' Sasuke could no longer afford to ponder it and had to push his doubts aside.

Seeing that his father did not revive again, he left the house and headed out of the village.

...

The following day, Hirome arrived at class to find that the typically eager Sasuke was absent, and he understood why.

As expected, after class, in response to Sakura's questions, Iruka confirmed that Sasuke was sick and had been admitted to the hospital.

After school, Hirome noticed he had acquired a little shadow.

For the first time, Sakura had taken the initiative to follow Hirome to the hospital, which left him feeling somewhat bemused.

It was well-known that Sakura harbored a strong aversion to hospitals due to Hirome and his father.

Upon reaching the hospital, Sakura eagerly dragged Hirome to Sasuke's ward.

Seeing Sasuke's pained expression as he lay unconscious, Sakura was filled with distress.

"Sakura, I never took you for someone who would sneak over here to see Sasuke. Are you trying to do something with him behind my back?"

The room's atmosphere was shattered by the sudden outburst. Hirome turned to see the newcomer was none other than Sakura's rival, Ino Yamanaka.

"Ino, what are you talking about? I'm here with my brother, and we just stopped by to check on Sasuke. What's your reason for being here?"

Watching the two start to bicker with jealousy, Hiroshi turned to leave but was suddenly pulled back from behind.

Hiroshi turned to reprimand the person who had grabbed him, only to find Sakura with tears welling up in her eyes.

"Brother, please, could you treat Sasuke?"

Hiroshi shook his head, "Someone must have already treated him. He is the second young master of the Uchiha family, after all. It's not my place to intervene."

"That's right, Hiroshi's Medicine Ninjutsu is decent, but how could it compare to the hospital's Medicine Ninjas? Please, don't interfere."

Ino didn't believe in Hiroshi's abilities at all. She assumed Sakura was desperate to impress. If Hiroshi accidentally cured Sasuke, he would surely be grateful to her. And even if Hiroshi failed, Sakura would have gained an advantage by being the first to bring it up.

'Sakura, I can see right through your little plot!' Ino thought to herself.

Of course, neither Sakura nor Hiroshi had any idea about Ino's suspicions.

"Brother, others may not realize your strength, but I do. I remember when I brought food to you and Dad, I saw you secretly save a civilian on the brink of death. I know you're fully capable of healing Sasuke!"

"Was I discovered? Ah, I've always tried to conceal my abilities, and to think my secret was revealed by a single act of kindness..."

Hiroshi feigned annoyance, but in truth, he was no longer concerned about keeping his talents hidden since he had gained enough power to defend himself.

Regarding that civilian, it wasn't just a spur-of-the-moment act of kindness. He wasn't a saint, after all. It was the man's adorable daughter who had made the request.

And who could resist a cute girl's plea?
