C19 Two Wins in a Row!

"I've mastered the art of refining a Level 2 Pill into origin fluid, ensuring complete absorption and unleashing the pill's full medicinal potential."

"Combining all these factors, my cultivation speed won't just hold steady during these ten days of training—it's set to significantly increase."

"By the time the trial comes around, I might even outpace Han Lin!"

With that thought, Han Feng couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement.

At that moment, Instructor Lin, observing several youths with pronounced fluctuations in their Internal Strength, announced, "In the last half-month, many have advanced to the Middle Period of Mortal Rank, unlocking their Main Bloodline. Clearly, no one has taken their training lightly; in fact, you've all redoubled your efforts."

"Still, only ten of you will be selected for the upcoming trial."

"Those who remain in the Early Period of Mortal Rank need not compete. Any objections?"

The youths shook their heads in agreement. They had no objections; the Early and Middle Periods of Mortal Rank were worlds apart.

Instructor Lin looked at Han Feng with a hint of disappointment. The young man's Internal Strength seemed barely perturbed, suggesting he hadn't made the breakthrough.

Unbeknownst to Instructor Lin, Han Feng had already solidified his cultivation foundation within the Main Bloodline. It was impressive enough to have made such progress in a mere half-month, let alone stabilizing his Internal Strength.

Satisfied, Instructor Lin nodded and instructed, "Those who've reached the Middle Period of Mortal Rank, step forward. I will determine the sequence for the competition."

Han Lin and several others promptly stepped forward. Han Feng did the same.

Instructor Lin fixed his gaze on Han Feng and said sternly, "Han Feng, you cannot compete if you haven't reached the Middle Period of Mortal Rank."

Han Feng paused, caught between amusement and frustration. It seemed Instructor Lin still considered him to be in the Early Period of Mortal Rank since the others who had broken through were radiating with fluctuating auras, while his own remained steady.

With a respectful bow, Han Feng replied, "Instructor, I have indeed advanced to the Middle Period of Mortal Rank!"

Instructor Lin's eyes bulged, and he was on the verge of scolding Han Feng for lying when it dawned on him that lying at such a moment would be unwise. Knowing Han Feng's character, it was clear he wouldn't lie.

Instructor Lin's excitement surged.

Han Lin and the others gazed at Han Feng, their faces etched with disbelief.

"How can this be possible?" Han Lin whispered to himself. "If he's truly made a breakthrough, does that mean he's surpassed the level I've achieved with over a year of cultivation?"

"Does he still possess Lower-class Aptitude?"

"Is it possible that Father was right? That Han Feng's relentless dedication over the past few years has finally paid off?"

At that moment, Han Gu was also in a state of panic.

He had exchanged a defiant glance with Han Feng just moments before. Surely, Han Feng wouldn't hold a grudge against him for that.

Without delay, Instructor Lin approached Han Feng and pressed a finger to his wrist. After a lengthy pause, Instructor Lin's face was a mix of excitement, complexity, and astonishment. "You've really done it. Han Feng, of all the Han family youths I've trained, you have the quickest cultivation speed. Perhaps the Han family will indeed flourish under your leadership."

The other youths were stunned by Instructor Lin's praise.

Han Lin's expression turned stern as he fixed his gaze on Han Feng, now seeing him as a true rival.

Han Rong and Han Zheng's fighting spirits flared intensely.

Han Feng, feeling the trio's combative auras, met their gazes head-on without flinching.

A palpable tension filled the air.

Regaining his composure, Instructor Lin announced, "Han Lin, Han Rong, and Han Zheng will be directly promoted to training members. Are there any objections?"

Heads shook in unison.

With one having unlocked four Main Bloodlines and the other two each unlocking two, their rankings in the top three for Internal Strength were uncontested.

Instructor Lin continued, "The rest will draw lots to select their opponents. Victors will earn their preliminary training qualifications."

"The first match..."

"The second match..."

"The third match..."

"And the fourth match will be Han Feng versus Han Gu!"

Han Gu's complexion instantly turned ghostly white.

Before Han Feng even stepped onto the stage, Han Gu, with a face of despair, raised his hand and declared, "Instructor, I forfeit!"

Previously, Han Feng had managed to defeat Gu Ba with only a modest amount of Internal Strength. Now, with his cultivation foundation vastly superior, handling him would be a breeze.

Han Gu was filled with regret. Had he known better, he would never have challenged Han Feng.

Han Feng touched his nose, at a loss for words.

Instructor Lin paused, then said with resignation, "Han Feng wins the fourth match by default. Moving on to the fifth match, we have Han Lieh against..."

Han Lieh found himself in a fortunate position. His opponent, having just made a breakthrough, was swiftly knocked out of the ring by Han Lieh's kick, securing Han Lieh's victory.

The sixth, seventh, and eighth matches concluded without incident.

Ultimately, Han Feng and Han Lieh were among the nine to advance from the preliminaries, joining Han Lin, Han Rong, and Han Zheng for a total of twelve contenders.

Now, two more would need to be eliminated.

Instructor Lin addressed the eight who had been defeated: "Your loss today doesn't mean you're inferior to the nine victors. Next up is the challenge round. Take some time to rest. Once your Internal Strength and physical condition are fully restored, you may challenge any of the nine winners. If you succeed, you'll take their place."

With that, Instructor Lin turned to Han Feng and the others, "You all should also focus on regaining your strength and Internal Strength."

"Yes, sir!"

After half an hour, everyone was back in top form. A disciple named Han Hua stepped forward, challenging Han Feng.

Han Hua's cultivation was nearly at the peak of the Main Bloodline, but he had the misfortune of facing an opponent who had already reached that peak, leading to his defeat.

Had circumstances been different, Han Hua might have easily advanced.

As such, Han Hua was the least willing to accept his loss among the eight who had failed, and he ultimately set his sights on Han Feng.

In Han Hua's eyes, Han Feng was nothing more than a practitioner of underhanded and despicable tactics, winning without the need for battle.

Yet, he harbored no fear.

Even with Han Feng at the zenith of the Main Bloodline, Han Hua was skeptical of his complete mastery over the cultivation of Internal Strength.

"This is an official match, Han Feng. I expect you to refrain from resorting to your usual underhanded tactics," Han Hua stated icily.

Han Feng nodded. "Rest assured, I don't need such tactics to take you down."

"Insolent!" Han Hua bellowed, lunging at Han Feng with a clawed strike.

"Claw Condensation Technique!" Han Feng countered in a low growl, his response swift as lightning.

A scream of agony escaped Han Hua as his chest was ripped open, leaving behind several gory lacerations. He collapsed to the ground.

Instructor Lin inhaled sharply. "The Claw Condensation Technique has been perfected!"
