C13 Strange dreams
The dissonance on the train came before my eyes, and as the train came into the station, the people in the aisle moved forward, and it was then that I noticed, as the crowd gathered, that a man with a black spider tattooed on his arm was stepping out of the car, following a cell phone on the bunk beside him.
I got up and jumped down from the top bunk. When the man walked in front of me, I pulled him down and whispered in his ear, "I'll give you a chance. Put your phone back, or I'll shout for the thief in front of all these people."
The little thief knew that the situation wasn't good for him and fiercely glared at me. He silently threw his phone back to its original location and then disappeared into the carriage.
The train travelled for an unknown amount of time before finally arriving at the station. I packed my luggage in advance and left the train station. There were many shops selling food and drinks along the street. I casually bought a pancake before eating and walking over.
As I walked, I noticed that there seemed to be someone following me from the bottom of the train all the way to here. I calmly glanced behind me. Among the three of them, one of them was the thief on the train.
Is this because I'm planning to take revenge for spoiling their plan? Is it because I want to fight in a place with fewer people?
I couldn't help but find it laughable in my heart. Since that's the case, I'll accompany all of you little furry thieves to train. I deliberately walked towards a place where there were few people. After taking a few turns, I found an alley. It was the best place to fight, so no one would notice.
The three people behind me are about to make their move as well, getting closer and closer to me.
I turned into the alley, leaned my suitcase against a corner, and smiled to welcome the three of them.
"Hey!" I greeted the three of them with a smile.
The little thief with the spider tattoo on his arm had a fierce look on his face. He took out a dagger from his waist and pointed it at me. "You're courting death. I'll let you know what happens if you meddle in other people's business." He swung his dagger at my chest.
I waited until the dagger had pierced me, then dodged to the side and grabbed his arm, pulling him down.
The little thief's body became unsteady, and its head fell to the ground, clutching its head as it howled.
I didn't wait for him to get up before a kick landed on his stomach. I deliberately held my ground so as not to cripple him, but even so, the little thief rolled on the floor and crashed into the wall.
Turning around, I saw that the two little thieves that followed me had long since disappeared. I thought to myself, "With this kind of ability, you still dare to act so fierce, aren't you afraid that people will laugh your head off?"
Lying on the ground, the little thief cried for his parents. I smiled at him, picked up the box, and left.
It was already afternoon. I had informed Cong that I was going to look for him, but after thinking about it for a moment, I realized that it might be too late today. His farm was located in a basin surrounded by mountains, so it would be very difficult for a car to get in.
After running for so long, I was finally able to rest. The sky outside my window had also darkened. When I opened my luggage, I found that the strange egg was quietly lying down. I picked it up and observed it from my bed.
Suddenly, a cold breeze blew in from outside the window. My body shivered as I turned my head to look at the window. It was already late at night outside, but I didn't open the window.
Perhaps it was because I was too tired, but it was also true that after running for so long, it was already late into the night. I turned off the lights and lay down, the room was dark, but I couldn't fall asleep no matter what. I looked at my watch and saw that it was already midnight.
The sound of the door being knocked on was extremely urgent. I was shocked, 'Who would knock on the door in the middle of the night?' He put on his clothes and walked towards the door. He looked outside the Cat's Eye and found that the inside of the Cat's Eye was pitch black, as if something blocked it from seeing anything.
The knocking continued. I had no choice but to force myself to open the door, but there was no one there. I stuck my head out and saw that the corridor was empty. There was no sign of anyone.
A prank? I closed the door behind me and went back to bed, muttering to myself, when I suddenly heard the sound of running water in the bathroom. It startled me, and then I realized that there was someone in the bathroom.
Just when I wanted to get up to see what was going on, I suddenly realised that my body couldn't move at all. I struggled with all my might, but to no avail. My body just wouldn't obey my will.
At the same time, I felt something tugging at my quilt at the foot of the bed, but I couldn't move.
I heaved a sigh of relief, but before I completely understood what was going on, the door to the washroom opened bit by bit. It was so dark in the room that I could only see a tall and thin figure walking out, I was drenched in cold sweat. I didn't expect that the door to the room would be opened as well.
It was unknown who opened the window, but a pair of pale white hands grabbed the edge of the window, following that, a head slowly floated up, little by little crawling towards me. Not long later, my bed was densely packed with people, but I couldn't see their faces.
With a deathly pale face, I struggled with all my might, but I was unable to move my body. At this moment, numerous pale arms stretched out from under the bed. This time, they stopped pulling on the blanket and grabbed my ankles instead.
That bone-chilling cold feeling surged in my heart. The hands that grabbed at my ankles were extremely cold, like a block of ice. At this moment, the countless figures surrounding my bed extended their hands, grabbing towards me bit by bit.
"AHH!" I screamed and sat up in bed. It was broad daylight outside the window, and I was drenched in sweat.
So it was a dream. I gasped for breath as I saw the red bead lying quietly by my side. It should have been because I accidentally fell asleep while observing it, but this dream was too real.
Ever since I had this dream, I felt uncomfortable all over, as if I was carrying five or six bags of rice up to the tenth floor.
I struggled to sit up and shook my head. 'Kacha!' I heard excruciating pain in my neck. I actually fell on my pillow. This was too fatal.
The light in the upper left corner of the phone glowed green. When he opened the screen, he saw that there were more than a dozen missed calls. Eight of them were from A-Cong, while the rest had unknown numbers.
I stretched and asked back, "Why did you make so many calls?"
On the other side of the phone, I heard a series of intermittent voices. "Zzzzzzzzz", I couldn't really hear what they were saying. It seemed like the signal wasn't too good.
After about two to three minutes, A-Cong said, "Brother, the signal here isn't good. I've just climbed up the tree. Oh right, where are you now? "Yesterday, I waited an entire afternoon and you still hadn't come back, so I thought you were lost."
I chatted with A-Cong for a while, packed my luggage, and left the front desk.
There were quite a few taxis coming and going, but not many were willing to go to the ranch. Everyone knew that the mountain road there was not easy to walk on, so I waited for more than an hour before a chubby guy agreed to take me there.
When I heard this, I was displeased and said to him, "You must have gone crazy thinking about money. Why don't you just rob me? "Two hundred and fifty."
"Hey? If you don't want to sit, why don't you sit. Why are you cursing at me? " The little fat driver thought I was scolding him and said angrily.
I also came over in a daze. Seeing that it was a misunderstanding, I hurriedly apologized, "Aiya, it's a misunderstanding. I'm talking about two hundred and fifty yuan. Are you leaving or not?"
"Come on up." The little fatty's driver did not continue to bargain, because this trip was enough for him to drive for many days.
The car drove very fast on the main road. In less than half an hour, we entered the dangerous mountainous road. The car gradually slowed down a lot, and the little fat driver stopped talking to me as he focused his attention on the road.
They drove along the steep mountain road. There were cliffs on both sides of the road. From time to time, one could see falling rocks on the road. Looking down from the window, it was a beautiful yet bottomless landscape that was both beautiful and dangerous.
If there was any mistake, the car would fall into a cliff that was tens of thousands of feet high. If the car was destroyed or killed, there wouldn't even be a corpse to be found. It seems like the little fatty's reason for asking me for such a high price was because no driver would dare to come here without seven or eight years of age.
The speed was very slow, but it passed very quickly. When we were halfway up the road, the car stopped halfway up the mountain. Seven or eight private cars were parked in front of our taxi, and for some reason, they stopped here.
