C25 Drinking

When Zhao Su first walked in, he hadn't really taken in his surroundings. Now, as he took his seat, he noticed that the private room was filled with three men and three women.

The women seemed to be quite friendly with Luo Yuyan, probably her friends.

The men, whom Zhao Su didn't know, were seated politely next to the women, likely their dates or boyfriends.

Seeing this, Zhao Su finally understood why Luo Yuyan had introduced him as her boyfriend—she had seen that her friends had brought their male companions.

With this insight, Zhao Su relaxed, while the live broadcast's chat room was abuzz with comments.

"So many beauties."

The table was littered with several bottles of wine, already half-drained.

After hearing the prompt, Zhao Su perused the shop's inventory.

He noticed a Sobriety Card on one of the shelves, described as a tool to filter out alcohol and keep the mind alert.

It required 1,000 Popularity Value to redeem.

After a brief pause, Zhao Su decided to exchange his points for the Sobriety Card, preferring to stay sober rather than risk making a fool of himself while drunk.

Transaction complete, Zhao Su discreetly attached the Sobriety Card to his clothing.

Just as he finished, the tall woman beside him spoke up, "Zhao Su, since this is our first meeting, let's have a drink together."

She gave him a playful wink and asked, "You're drinking, right?"

Before Zhao Su could reply, Luo Yuyan quickly said, "He doesn't drink."

As soon as she finished speaking, a muscular man next to the tall woman let out a light laugh.

He looked at Zhao Su and said, "All men drink."

The tall woman gave him a sharp glance and said, "Liang Tu, Yuyan has already mentioned this handsome guy doesn't drink. Don't pressure him."

Upon hearing the taunt, Zhao Su's brow furrowed. He picked up the wine glass in front of him and stated firmly, "I'll drink."

Liang Tu smiled broadly and said, "Today, we're both drinking."

Luo Yuyan, noticing Zhao Su's readiness to take on the drinking challenge, became anxious. She quickly grabbed Zhao Su's hand and pleaded, "Brother, Liang Tu is a heavy drinker. You really shouldn't compete with him."

The tall girl standing nearby chimed in, "Liang Tu, this is your first meeting. Don't be too aggressive."

The atmosphere grew tense as the challenge loomed.
