C27 I Want to be Lowkey
Liang Tu couldn't help but swallow hard. If he were to gulp down that much of the strong liquor, he was sure he'd be in for a rough time.
In the blink of an eye, Zhao Su had already downed half the bottle.
"I wonder how long you can keep this up?" Liang Tu thought to himself.
He doubted Zhao Su could be that impressive, to simply slam an entire bottle of hard liquor, even if it was just over half full.
Time flew by, and Zhao Su's stomach seemed like a bottomless pit. Before long, he was nearly finished with the bottle.
As the bottle neared its end, Liang Tu gritted his teeth and poured the drink down his throat.
A fiery sensation surged up, shooting straight out of his nostrils.
Liang Tu's face twisted, turning a deep shade of red, but for the sake of pride, he refused to put the bottle down. Instead, he forced down most of the bottle in one go.
Zhao Su casually set the empty bottle on the table, took a deep breath, and wiped his mouth. Although it was just over half a bottle, it would have been a challenge for anyone else, but Zhao Su seemed as if nothing had happened.
"Big brother, how do you feel?" Luo Yuyan asked.
"This liquor tastes even better than mineral water; it's got a slight sweetness," Zhao Su remarked, relishing the taste.
Luo Yuyan's eyes filled with surprise. If she hadn't already taken a sip herself, she might have thought the bottle was counterfeit.
The others nearby were just as shocked.
Liang Tu, who was mid-drink, nearly choked upon hearing Zhao Su's claim.
"The Host is amazing!"
"I've never heard of liquor tasting sweet before."
"His tolerance is on par with the E People."
"Brother, come to the Northeast, and I'll share some drinking wisdom with you!"
The viewers in the livestream were thrilled.
In contrast, Liang Tu, who had been drinking, was now crimson-faced with bloodshot eyes.
He had managed to drink only half the bottle before reaching his limit.
This liquor was meant to be enjoyed slowly. Drinking it too quickly could easily knock someone out.
Liang Tu tried to soldier on with his robust constitution, but his stomach wasn't cooperating.
After ingesting half the bottle, he couldn't help but roll his eyes back and slump over the table next to the sofa.
Fortunately, the table was of such high quality that it didn't collapse under his weight. At the same time, a torrent of alcohol poured from his nose and mouth, leaving him looking quite disheveled.
"Liang Tu, are you alright?" Luo Yuyan, the girl with the wavy curls, asked as she gently shook his body. The only reply was a series of bubbling sounds.
"I'm sorry, I really meant to keep a low profile. I didn't expect Liang Tu to keep pressing me," Zhao Su remarked coolly.
Everyone glanced at him, shock rippling through the crowd. He had guzzled down half a bottle of hard liquor as if it were nothing—was this his idea of staying under the radar? He was truly formidable!
"The Host is too much. He's already won, and yet he's still making these snide comments. He's really rubbing it in."
"It serves Liang Tu right for someone to take him down a peg, especially after he bragged about making the Host drink."
"The Host is phenomenal!"
"Alright, Liang Tu is obviously drunk. Let's just let him rest for a while," the tall girl suggested, smoothing over the awkward moment.
Her words shifted the focus away from the incident, and the mood in the room lightened. Liang Tu remained sprawled on the table, unnoticed, but his condition didn't affect the lively atmosphere of the gathering.
