C11 He Beat up Wang Fugui

Stepping out from the grand entrance of the Celestial Pavilion, Nie Feng was greeted by the sight of a sleek, brand-new Ferrari pulling up in front of him. A man and a woman emerged from the car. "Well, if it isn't Nie Feng," Wang Fugui said with a smirk, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "What brings you to the Celestial Pavilion? Surely you're not dining and dashing?"

To Wang Fugui, a pauper like Nie Feng had no business being in such a place.

Nie Feng couldn't help but smile at the irony. The last time they met, Wang Fugui had stiffed him on a commission, and Nie Feng hadn't yet sought him out for it. Now, here he was, delivered right to Nie Feng's doorstep. Last time, with Gao Yang present, Nie Feng had restrained himself. But today, Wang Fugui's luck had run out.

"Oh, that's right, Mr. Wang, thanks for the reminder. I almost forgot to pay for my meal just now. How about you settle the one million you owe me from before, and I'll take care of the bill?" Nie Feng proposed cheerfully.

"Nie Feng, my offer still stands. Come work with me, and it won't just be one million—I'll give you ten million. What do you say?" Wang Fugui offered, still smiling.

"Sorry, Mr. Wang, but I'm not interested in associating with someone as duplicitous as you. Since you seem intent on welching on your debts, I'll take my leave." With that, Nie Feng bowed slightly and turned to go.

Nie Feng's voice had carried, and the waitstaff and security at the entrance had heard everything. They all knew Mr. Wang as a regular patron, and now they stared at Wang Fugui in astonishment.

Wang Fugui's smile began to stiffen on his face. Nie Feng was openly challenging him, accusing a respected heir of the Wang family of reneging on a debt. If this got out, his reputation would be ruined.

"Hold it right there!" Before Wang Fugui could respond, the woman with him, clearly offended, grabbed Nie Feng's arm. "You think you can talk to us like that, you backwoods nobody? Take a good look at yourself. My brother is the heir to the Wang family fortune. There's no way he owes you a dime!"

Nie Feng's brow furrowed. It seemed true that birds of a feather flock together. The young lady was quite attractive, yet disappointingly, she turned out to be just as judgmental and snobbish.

"Whether there's a debt or not is something only certain individuals are aware of, wouldn't you say, Mr. Wang?" Nie Feng said with a smile, turning his gaze to Wang Fugui.

At that moment, Wang Fugui's composure was teetering on the brink. One million wasn't a significant sum, but if he handed it over to Nie Feng now, wouldn't that be tantamount to admitting he owed him money? No, Wang Fugui couldn't let himself be humiliated like that.

"Security, get this lunatic spouting nonsense and toss him out!" Wang Fugui steadied his emotions and gestured to the security guards behind him.

Wang Fugui was aware of Nie Feng's capabilities, but the Celestial Pavilion's security guards were no ordinary bunch. Like Nie Feng, they were all ex-military, and taking on Nie Feng shouldn't be an issue for them.

The command of the Wang family's young master was not to be taken lightly. The guards, not daring to defy, quickly encircled Nie Feng. A lanky young man among them said, "Sorry, buddy, we really don't want to hassle you, but please leave on your own."

Despite Wang Fugui's orders, these guards were Celestial Pavilion employees, not Wang Fugui's personal thugs, and Nie Feng was technically their guest. It would be inappropriate for them to lay hands on him.

"What the hell are you waiting for? Get him, now! Are you oblivious to my relationship with your boss? Or are you looking to be fired?" Wang Fugui bellowed, seeing the guards hesitate to act.

Exchanging glances, the guards reluctantly charged forward. They had to prioritize the young master of the Wang family over this unknown upstart.

Nie Feng's smile widened. He had been waiting for Wang Fugui to make the first move, giving him the perfect excuse to retaliate. "Wang Fugui, if I don't teach you a lesson today, consider yourself lucky."

As a guard's fist neared, Nie Feng sensed the formidable power behind it. He stepped back, tilted his head to avoid the blow, and swiftly grabbed the man's arm. With a forceful pull, he sent the guard tumbling to the ground, following up with a swift kick to the head.

In under ten seconds, the security guards were all sprawled out on the ground, unconscious. Nie Feng had merely knocked them out temporarily, sparing their lives.

Wang Fugui watched in a growing panic as Nie Feng approached him. Today, his twin sister Wang Yanna was off work, and he had planned to treat her to a nice meal, sans bodyguards. Now, it was too late to call for backup.

Despite Wang Fugui's pettiness and sly nature, he was fiercely protective of Wang Yanna, proving himself a devoted brother.

"You... Just try laying a finger on my brother. He's the esteemed young master of the Wang family!" Wang Yanna stepped in front of Wang Fugui, her eyes blazing as she faced down Nie Feng.

Caught off guard, Wang Fugui reached out to pull her back; he couldn't let his sister shield him!

"To hell with the young master!" Nie Feng's hand came down hard on Wang Yanna's head just as Wang Fugui reached for her, sending her tumbling to the ground.

The room went silent, everyone in shock. Wang Yanna wasn't just any family member; she was the treasured daughter of the Wangs, a stunning beauty at that. Yet Nie Feng showed no mercy, his slap swift and unyielding.

The force of Nie Feng's slap knocked Wang Yanna out cold. In his world, women fell into two categories: those he cared for and those he didn't. While he would cherish the former, the latter could expect no pity.

"You dare strike my sister? I'll fight you to the end!" Enraged, Wang Fugui swung at Nie Feng.

Nie Feng's smile was faint as he watched the punch come in, as harmless as a toddler's. It was slow and lacked any real power.

With ease, Nie Feng caught Wang Fugui's fist, and with a slight squeeze, Wang Fugui's face contorted in pain. The sharp snap of bone echoed in the ears of all present.

"Ah—It hurts!" Wang Fugui could no longer bear the pain and let out a scream like a pig being slaughtered.

Nie Feng was not about to let him off the hook that easily. Seizing Wang Fugui's flowing locks, he hoisted him up and slammed him to the ground, unleashing a brutal beating.

"Ah—Feng, Brother Feng! I won't do it again, I swear! I'll pay you anything, just stop hitting me!" Wang Fugui writhed on the ground, his screams unceasing.

Nie Feng's punches rained down on Wang Fugui, avoiding vital areas but targeting the most painful spots. Onlookers, particularly the security guards, watched in horror, feeling as though they had narrowly escaped disaster themselves.

To beat up the Wang family's young master in broad daylight—this guy was seriously ruthless! They all made a mental note to steer clear of him in the future.

After turning Wang Fugui's face into a swollen mess, Nie Feng pulled a hundred yuan from his wallet and said, "Consider this your fee for hiring me to beat you. Any objections?"

"No... no objections, Brother Feng. Take whatever you want, even my whole wallet," Wang Fugui hastily replied, not daring to utter a single word of protest. His only thought now was to see a doctor.

"Good." Nie Feng gave a slight smile, pocketed the hundred yuan, and stuffed the wallet back into Wang Fugui's jacket pocket before hailing a cab and departing.

The crowd was left in stunned silence. This guy was unbelievable! He'd given someone a thrashing and then charged them for it.

"Look! What the hell are you staring at? Get me and my sister to the hospital, now! Damn it, ow!" Wang Fugui bellowed at the dazed manager, aggravating his facial wounds and contorting his face in pain.

Snapping to attention, the manager quickly arranged for a car to take Wang Fugui and Wang Yanna to the hospital.

"Hahaha, Nie Feng actually had Wang Fugui crying for his mommy—that's hilarious!" Zhang Menglin had a front-row seat to the action from her private room, laughing so hard she could barely close her mouth.

Having had dealings with the Wang family behemoth, she felt a rush of satisfaction seeing Wang Fugui get his comeuppance. It was about time someone put these entitled rich kids in their place.

"But Nie Feng has really stirred up a hornet's nest with the Wang family. They're the top dogs among Silkwick City's elite families; they won't let this slide. Plus, the beatdown happened at Celestial Pavilion—I doubt the owner behind it will take this lying down either," Bai Fu remarked, his face etched with worry.

"What's there to fear? Those rich brats are nothing but trouble. And the Celestial Pavilion's owner, that heartless woman, is no saint either. Remember my close call last time? They didn't lift a finger to help," Zhang Menglin retorted with a pout, her discontent palpable.

In truth, Zhang Menglin was being a bit unfair to the Celestial Pavilion's owner. The establishment often turned a blind eye to the likes of Zhao Dahai, who dragged girls in against their will. They had simply failed to notice it was Zhang Menglin he had brought in that night.

"Eldest Miss, at the end of the day, we're outsiders here. We have no connections to these people—why would they bother with us?" Bai Fu lamented.

"Outsiders? Their territory? Silkwick City is just one of my father's many domains. If it weren't for his misfortune, these so-called powerful families wouldn't dare strut around. They weren't even fit to carry my shoes back in the day!" Zhang Menglin snapped.

"Eldest Miss, times have changed. The old master is missing, and our former allies are either dead or scattered. There's an old saying: 'A tiger that falls flat is mocked by dogs.' The four great families don't recognize us anymore. We simply don't have the power to stand up to them now," Bai Fu said with a heavy sigh.

Bai Fu had long been a fixture by the side of Zhang Menglin's father, a silent witness to the Zhang family's prosperity and decline. His heart was heavy with sorrow in these trying times.

"I have faith that my father will be rescued someday, and when that day comes, everything that rightfully belongs to our Zhang family will surely be restored!" declared Zhang Menglin with unwavering conviction.

Bai Fu nodded in agreement, adding, "Indeed! However, our immediate priority must be to locate the Young Master. He alone has the power to save the Zhang family..."
