C1 Turn over
When I woke up, I felt as if I had two hip-hop singers with big tongues in my head. They were looking at each other, and the buzzing noise made me want to puke.
I strongly shook my head, and then softly called out. "Brother Seven!"
Brother Seven and I were the drivers of the Tmall Express, and coincidentally, we worked overtime today, so we were able to transport thousands of bags across the provinces. Who knew that on the mountain road just now, there would suddenly be two donkey friends riding bicycles.
"Hammer!" Brother Seven's insults were mixed with a trace of pain.
I turned my head and saw Old Seven leaning on the steering wheel.
"Brother Seven, how are you?!" I struggled to move my body, slowly squirming towards the Brother Seven.
Brother Seven raised his head, two front teeth were neatly stuck on the plastic steering wheel, if there was another horizontal line in the middle, our car would become Honda.
"Hammer!" "It hurts so bad!" Brother Seven took out a cigarette from his pocket and put it in his mouth.
"Brother Seven, we are really unlucky this time!" Through the shattered glass of the cab, I could see express parcels strewn all over the place.
These packages were calculated into the performance award. If we lost a package, we would be complained about by the customer and resigned. However, this time around, it's all over!
"Hammer!" Old Seven muttered as he reached his hand into his pocket. He was probably looking for a lighter, probably because he threw the lighter in his pocket when he flipped the car.
I slowed down, and was stunned when I saw Old Seven's lower body, "Brother Seven! Water! Why is there so much water! "
Old Seven chewed on the cigarette in his mouth dry a few times, and said vaguely: "Brat, why are you panicking? Isn't this just like a car falling into a river?"
I looked up and saw a vast expanse of water in front of us. The car must have slipped into the river in the canyon.
"Brother Seven, let's talk after we leave!" I kicked at the passenger door, but nothing happened. I stuck my head out the window.
The water was almost up to the glass, so I climbed out of the passenger seat without looking around and swam around to the driver's side.
Due to the water pressure, the door could no longer be opened, so I could only extend my head out the window and continue to pull Old Seven out. Old Seven was in so much pain that he was convulsing, his head was covered with sweat and his mouth had nothing to do with it.
After being partners with Old Seven for a while, I was used to the northern man who had a violent temper and bad words, "Brother Seven, when we were flipping the cars, those two brats also flipped with us. I can see them very clearly." With my help, he escaped from the driver's seat. The two of them ignored the sinking car and started swimming towards the shore.
Old Seven and I leaned under a tree and looked around. Aside from the parcels that were scattered all over the place, there was only lush green. He raised his head and looked at the endless mountain wall. He didn't know what kind of dog shit luck had come his way, so he got off the carriage and didn't die.
I trotted a few steps, thinking that if I gathered up the packages, I would suffer as little damage as possible.
Just as I bent down, I heard Old Seven shout at me from behind, "Xiao Li, what the f * ck are you doing pouting your butt?"
While holding onto a few small bags, I held onto a big box in my other hand and said to Old Seven: "Collect the bags, these are all customer orders. If you lose them, you have to eat complaints."
"F * ck!" Old Seven blurted out, "I really can't understand what is going on in the heads of you highly educated people. What the f * ck is going on?
I smiled and did not refute Old Seven.
"Stop picking up that crap. Hurry up and figure out how to get out of here." I turned to look at Old Seven, only to see him feebly pointing a finger at me.
I gathered the bags together and reached into my pocket. "Brother Seven, my phone should have been thrown into the driver's seat."
I looked up at our truck, and the river was like a soldier on a rampage, about to take over the front of the truck.
Old Seven subconsciously felt for his own pocket, and then sighed. I reckon that when his lighter and his phone were together, it was flung so much that it disappeared.
"Brother Seven, do you think the company's leaders will scold us to death if they find us!?" I also lamented. The car sank and the package on it sank as well. Who could say for sure about this loss!
"Hammer, why are you still in the mood to meddle in other people's business. Not to mention this place, the temperature in the valley will plummet at night. I wonder if there are poisonous insects or wild beasts." Old Seven turned a deaf ear to my words, and instead expressed concern about our current situation.
Old Seven and I did not have much to say, so we got up and walked out.
"What are you doing back here?" Old Seven shouted at me.
"Let me check if there are any scattered packages nearby. I will lose one item if I pick it up." I know Old Seven's temper is bad and I don't want to argue with him.
"I dropped the hammer obediently, I don't understand what others are saying, why do you care about the bags? Now that I think about how to leave this place alive, I'm so angry that I lost my temper!" Old Seven said as he took in a breath of cold air. His actions must have affected his wound.
I shook my head. "No, our job is to deliver the package to the client."
"I don't want to waste my breath on you anymore!" Old Seven waved his hands at me, grabbed a bag beside him and started tearing it, "You're starving me to death, is this something delicious?"
I stepped forward and snatched the bag back. "Brother Seven, how can you take apart a customer's package without permission."
Old Seven said snappily, "If you don't break it down, you will starve to death. I don't know when someone will come to rescue you in this wilderness, so quickly give me the package. You should also break it down quickly to see if there is anything to eat or protect you from the cold."
"No way!" I hugged my bag and retreated a few steps. "Brother Seven, I really can't open it."
Old Seven scolded in anger, but I did not reply him. Instead, I closed the bags in one place and said with a good temper, "Brother Seven, I really cannot open the bags. "I'll first go nearby to look for other bags, then see if there's a way out or something."
In order to prevent Old Seven from opening the bag secretly, I put the bag away from him. His leg was severely injured, and it would take a long time to walk over.
Not far away, he picked up several couriers along the way. Behind a large rock, he found a semi-human tall package. As he was considering what to do with it, he saw the package sway a little.
I jumped in shock and quickly retreated a few steps before pulling out a wooden stick from my back and asked, "Who is it?"
Upon hearing the voice, the bag began to shake even more violently. A few intermittent sounds came out of the bag, so muffled that it was hard to hear.
I was dumbfounded. How could there be living things in this package? I listened for a while, but it still sounded like a human voice.
He cut open the outermost woven bag with a piece of stone, then the box inside. Suddenly, a mass of red came out of the bag and hit my chin.
The red blob also made a sound of 'aiya'. Only then did I notice that there was a woman in my embrace.
