Meridians were the foundation of a person's cultivation. Without meridians, one would be considered a cripple without a doubt.

Especially at the early stage of Qi Condensation, one's meridians determine one's talent. Unless one reaches the Nascent Soul stage and is able to reconstruct their body, then their meridians will always affect one's cultivation path.
