C2 Players Enter

Given the stark contrast in their sizes, he appeared to his opponent as an adult would to a dog.

"Maybe I should just slit my throat," Lin Tian mused with skepticism, wondering if Bai Li was simply looking for an excuse to send him to his demise.

"Of course not!" Bai Li retorted, clearly offended by the doubt. "Do you know why this place is called the Reincarnation Small World? It's because here, recognized beings can be resurrected after death! This is a world rule created by the Nether Capital Great Monarch!"

Lin Tian was far from foolish. In fact, having graduated from a prestigious technical university, he was smarter than most. Tilting his head, he ventured cautiously, "So you're saying that as long as we have backup, it's like having an immortal army?"

"Exactly," Bai Li confirmed, her face turning somber. "But where can we possibly find such reinforcements?" As a World Spirit, she understood the magnitude of this rule, yet reinforcements were nowhere to be found. Not even on the vast expanse of Blue Star could they find someone to stand against the Whole Heaven Myriad Realms.

Just then, Lin Tian, lost in thought, suddenly spoke up. "I've figured it out!" he exclaimed, turning to Bai Li with a look of exhilaration. "I know where we can find reinforcements!"

Before Bai Li could process his words, Lin Tian grasped her shoulders, his voice brimming with excitement. "This rule, does it truly allow for endless resurrection?"

"Yes, but there is a period of weakness afterward."

"Are there any side effects? Could it harm the resurrected person's body?"

"Not at all, but it's confined to this small world."

"That's perfect!" Lin Tian clapped his hands, his plan crystallizing before him. "Resurrection, invasion, monsters, reinforcements..." These key terms coalesced in his mind into an increasingly lucid strategy, one that resonated with his own profession. The word sprang readily to his lips: "Gaming!"

"Gaming?" Bai Li echoed, puzzled by his implication.

"Yes, gaming!" Lin Tian reined in his enthusiasm, his tone growing serious. "If this plan works, we'll not only secure reinforcements, but we might even launch a counteroffensive."

"Counteroffensive?" Bai Li's mouth hung open in astonishment. Was he out of his mind? Even with the strategic benefit of the Reincarnation Small World, she had only considered a staunch defense, yet here he was, contemplating a counterattack.

What kind of counterattack? Nuclear bombs and artillery?

Lin Tian ignored her, simply stating, "From now on, just follow my lead. If all goes well, you could witness the fruits of the plan by today."

Seeing Lin Tian's confidence, Bai Li had no choice but to nod, resigning herself to the situation. "I can't hold these guys off for much longer. They'll likely attack by tomorrow at the latest. You'd better move fast, or you'll have to join the fray yourself."

At this, Lin Tian's expression darkened once more.

It appeared that this guy had intended for him to enter the battle personally from the start!

Had he not come up with this plan, he would indeed be facing certain death.

...

The afternoon flew by. Lin Tian spent it resigning from his job and, with Bai Li's help, developing a game.

Soon after, a game titled "Player Invading" stealthily made its debut on various gaming platforms.

With the advent of advanced technology, the Holographic Sensory Helmet had become an essential household item, allowing people to immerse themselves in the visual pleasures of gaming like never before.

He invested a substantial amount of money to ensure "Player Invading" was featured prominently on the homepage of gaming platforms, catching the eye of anyone who visited.

At that moment, Lin Tian and Bai Li were in the Reincarnation Small World.

"This is the player's Beginner Village; it needs a makeover."

"Over here, and there, shift things around. Bring those ruins over here."

As Lin Tian directed, Bai Li transformed the area where they stood. In no time, a village emerged, pieced together from ancient ruins and piles of rubble.

It was rustic and desolate, yet majestic.

Lin Tian nodded in approval at the sight, though he couldn't help feeling a twinge of regret, "Now we have the Beginner Village, but we're missing the NPCs."

"Are you sure this will work?"

Bai Li, now privy to Lin Tian's plan, still harbored doubts.

"Can these so-called players truly withstand the invasion from the myriad realms?"

"Hehe, never underestimate the power of the players," Lin Tian chuckled. "With your Undying Law and the strategic advantage of the Reincarnation World, I'm 70% confident that the Lava Army will surely meet their defeat."

"That's an understatement. In Lin Tian's heart, the odds are closer to 90%..."

Certainly, these thoughts couldn't be voiced in front of Bai Li, or he'd be labeled insane.

Only a seasoned gamer like him understood the formidable influence of players.

These individuals might not match soldiers on the battlefield, but in gaming mode, they were unparalleled.

Given the right conditions, players could have a significant impact.

Lin Tian's goal was to create those very conditions that would allow players to tap into their full potential.

"I just can't see these players holding their own against the Lava Army," Bai Li said, her lips pursed in skepticism.

"We'll just have to wait and see."

Lin Tian had resigned himself to his partnership with Bai Li. He was somewhat confident in his plan, but it was a gamble on his own destiny. If he failed, and the Reincarnation World couldn't hold back the onslaught, then everyone on Blue Star would face catastrophe!

The weight of responsibility now resting on his shoulders was monumental.

Lost in thought, Bai Li suddenly announced, "Someone's coming."

In the once-deserted Beginner Village, a whirlpool materialized, and out stepped a man with yellow hair emblazoned with the name "Ao Hen Tian."

"The sensory experience is impressively realistic, but it's the gameplay that counts. If it's as poorly executed as previous ones, it would be such a waste," he mumbled to himself.

Qi Tian, a well-known gaming streamer, was greeted by a light screen displaying: "Welcome to Reincarnation World. You are in Ruins Ancient Village."

"Mission triggered: Defeat a Lava Monster to unlock your professional path."

As the light screen vanished, Qi Tian was presented with various sets of armor: Hauberk, plate, cloth, leather, and light armor. He also had to choose a class. Lin Tian had designed the game with a thoughtful balance between the classes in mind.

Once the class was selected, he could dive straight into the game.

"No introduction, straight into mission mode," Qi Tian mused, a spark of excitement in his eyes.

"Rough and ready – that's how I like it!"

As a seasoned gamer, he thrived on the high level of freedom this game mode offered.

Without a second thought, Qi Tian selected the Spear Warrior class. Instantly, a long spear adorned with a red tassel materialized in his grasp.

This weapon was a recreation of the Red Tassel Spear, crafted in the likeness of Lin Tian's design. Held by Qi Tian, it looked formidable and impressive.

Clutching the spear, Qi Tian left the ancient village ruins, guided by the mission map. In the distance, he spotted a group of creatures composed entirely of red lava.

"Ding! Lava Monster encountered. Scouting privileges are not enabled. Enemy level is unknown."

Upon seeing the monsters, Qi Tian charged at them, spear at the ready.

He dove into battle without uttering another word!
