As the giant snake closed in, whoosh! Two beams of light zipped toward its eyes. Simultaneously, a massive explosion erupted on the serpent's body. The system mercenaries, following Chen Cheng's command, had maneuvered the tank's artillery to provide backup, firing the formidable 122mm armor-piercing shells from World War II.

Though the shells missed the snake's critical areas
