C9 Seventh Uncle
Seeing that the sky was about to brighten, Chen Jianshan and I became a lot bolder. Without much thought, we drove into the island and looked for the shops on the side of the road.
Unfortunately, this place didn't even show any navigation. We circled the island but didn't even find any hair. I couldn't help but to feel some hatred in my heart. Song Zhen didn't give me a specific location.
Chen Jianshan was a little anxious. He opened his phone and made a few calls. In the end, he looked at me happily and said,
"I found the place, it's behind the Heavenly Queen Palace."
"What are you doing? Why are you wasting so much time?" I mumbled something, but it was still early in the morning, and I didn't dare to call anyone to disturb the dream.
The coastal villagers all believed in the Queen of Heaven, which was also Mazu. These kinds of temples had different sizes. Every village that went out to fish had Mazu Temple, and they all prayed for the safety of their people.
I've been to the front and back temples many times, but I didn't notice a paper shop nearby. This time, I found out that it really was there, right next to the street where the Heavenly harem is, but it was blocked by a huge tree.
Through the gaps in the branches of the trees, he could still see the words, written in vermilion, on the white floor of the funeral home.
There were also some scattered bamboo pieces at the door, which clearly indicated that they were in the paper business. However, the roller shutter door was still open, and although it looked like it was only 7 in the morning, it was an emergency and we could only muster up the courage to knock on the door.
Chen Jianshan was not as polite as I was. He swung his fist and knocked on the roller shutter door, and after two or three knocks, I could hear some Ming Nan language coming from inside.
"Sai Lin Qi, oh good wood, don't get tired."
We heard that someone inside agreed to let us sleep, so our hearts also calmed down. We didn't care if he was scolding us or not, we just knocked on the door and after a few consecutive knocks, we finally heard the sound of the rolling curtain door. "Hua!"
As the roller shutter door went up, a Mediterranean old man in a white vest and navy blue shorts pulled up a pair of beauty bridge slippers looked at us angrily.
Looking at his temperament, it should be that Seventh Uncle didn't run away. I smiled and said to him.
"You must be Seventh Uncle, Song Zhen'er told us to look for you."
Upon hearing the three words' Song Zhen`er ', Seventh Uncle's reaction was even greater than ours. It was as if electricity had been switched on and off; his face was deathly pale. He looked at us in disbelief as he stuttered:
"No …" Impossible, Little Song is already dead. "
The two of us looked at each other in dismay. How did Seventh Uncle know about Song Zhen's death?
But before we could ask, Seventh Uncle let us in first. This small shop was not big, it didn't even have a display cabinet, and there was a messy pile of paper wagons against the wall.
There was a bamboo bed in the middle of the room, and Seventh Uncle asked us to sit down and talk.
"How did you know that Song Zhen'er died?" I anxiously asked Seventh Uncle.
The man scratched at his hair that didn't have much left and looked at me in disbelief as he said,
"Last night, Little Song gave me a dream. He died in an ugly way. His birthday is coming."
I nodded my head. That wasn't a lie. It seemed that Seventh Uncle was quite frightened last night as well.
Seventh Uncle continued to say, "She said that she died unjustly, and that I, as her uncle, had to help her. Only then could she go down to the Underworld to reincarnate. Pity that little girl.
At the same time, Seventh Uncle seemed a little sad as he spread his hands. I told him not to worry now, so he opened his mouth and said:
"I understand that she asked me to find you. If I tell you everything about her death, you will have a way to help her enter the underworld."
Following that, I told Seventh Uncle everything that happened yesterday in detail. Seventh Uncle's face looked alright at first, but the more I listened, the more pale he became.
In the end, it looked as though I had just been scrubbed, and shakily looked at me and asked:
"What did Song look like before he died?"
I thought for a moment, then told him, "Red dress, and a wooden bracelet with a chicken blood vine on it. Black shoes at the feet."
These things didn't sound abnormal, but when Seventh Uncle heard this, he actually yelled 'longevity', and it was over.
When we saw his frightened look, we couldn't help but feel a little scared. We immediately got Seventh Uncle to explain it to me.
After a long time, Seventh Uncle finally calmed down and said, "Little Song died while swallowing gold. His red skirt was made of fire, his hands were made of wood, and his black shoes were made of dirt. He was a pig himself, and was one of the five elements."
After coming and going, I had gathered all five elements of metal, wood, water, fire, earth, and earth. However, what could I possibly do? Honestly speaking, I have no knowledge of their profoundness, so I could only understand after Seventh Uncle continued speaking.
It was true that the five elements of metal, wood, water, fire, and earth were all similar to each other, but if they were all combined, they could accomplish great things.
In other words, if the five elements combined into one, then this corpse would be a demon corpse, and with this corpse protecting it, the people hiding underneath wouldn't even be able to strike it with heavenly thunder.
"According to what you said, someone was trying to use this body to acquire treasures or to transcend the tribulation."
When I heard what Seventh Uncle said, I couldn't believe it. These things are way too far away from me. I've only read about them in novels before. Don't tell me there really are demoness existences in this world?
"Have you forgotten that the Tailings Tower is a mansion in your eyes? It's like having your eyes fooled by a fairy. I'm sure they want to use this corpse to overcome their tribulation."
Seventh Uncle took a deep breath and said: "They are also good at scheming. Previously, when we put a net on this corpse, and set up a water jar, the sky and the earth would never see the head. That is to prevent the souls in the corpse from escaping, but you accidentally knocked down the net.
When I heard this, I couldn't help but laugh for a moment. I didn't expect that a single action I didn't experience would actually save Song Ying'er once. Then, what should we do next?
Seventh Uncle told us that previously, the surnamed Liu was probably trying to use Song Zhen's corpse to transcend the tribulation. If lightning were to strike the body, then Song Zhen's soul would be destroyed along with the corpse.
