C18 Her Head Can't Turn Around!

"You've been asleep for almost a day. Why haven't you woken up yet?"

The girl with ice-blue hair gently prodded the silver-haired girl, who was deeply asleep on the bed, with her pale finger.

Mu Jin, feeling the poke on her face, subconsciously furrowed her brow as if annoyed by the disruption of her sleep.

Her expression was rather adorable. One could only wonder what her reaction would be upon waking up in the bed of a descendant of sinners.

"Miss... the doctor said she's simply exhausted, which is why she's been sleeping so long..."

The maid watched her mistress, who seemed to be toying with the face of the mysterious girl sleeping peacefully on the bed.

They had assumed the mistress had brought home a close friend, but instead, she revealed that this girl was someone she had found while on a mission.

They quickly summoned a doctor, who diagnosed the silver-haired girl with extreme fatigue, assuring them she would wake after sufficient rest.

Yet, after nearly a full day, there was still no sign of her awakening.

[What on earth had their mistress brought home?]

"Never mind, it's getting late. Rena, is dinner ready?"

The maid, Rena, snapped to attention and responded, "Certainly, Miss. Dinner is prepared."

Mu Jin kept her eyes shut, feeling the ache in her muscles and a gnawing discomfort in her stomach, now regretting her use of the Experience Card.

Since her current physical condition hadn't reached a level A Valkyrja, the end of the Experience Card left her with increased fatigue.

If only she had been warned sooner!

As the sound of footsteps faded, Mu Jin finally opened her eyes to an unfamiliar ceiling...

She attempted to sit up, but a sharp muscle pain sent her collapsing back down.

Unable to sit up and famished, Mu Jin's azure eyes may have been fixed on the ceiling, but her focus was on the system panel.

Character: Mu Jin (Kiana Kaslana)

Status: Overworked (Incapacitated)

Level: 8 (Supply box function activated)

Strength: 40 (Easily overpowering an average Hilichurl. Even the might of Hilichurl brutes pales in comparison.)

Intelligence: 10 (Is that so?)

Charm: 70 (Thanks to Kiana Kaslana's passive Moon Goddess bonus, anyone who sees you will feel 10% more favorable towards you.

Kiana Kaslana assimilation rate: 40%)

(Little Tip 1: When your charm reaches an extremely high level, the gods will take notice of you.)

(Little Tip 2: Any positive impression may evolve into more intense emotions, which, in turn, means you'll earn more crystals under such extreme emotional states.)

Mu Jin tried to put her meager 10 IQ points to work as she pondered the system's second tip, sensing that it was subtly hinting at something.

Extreme emotions, what could that mean?

No matter how much she racked her brain, Mu Jin couldn't come to a conclusion.

It was quite the challenge for her to grapple with such complex ideas with her limited intellectual capacity.

After browsing her personal page, Mu Jin listlessly flipped through other sections.

The Points Mall remained locked. Despite her eagerness, she lacked the crystals to unlock it.

Two sets of ten pulls... She hadn't even managed one!

The frustration was real!

The Herrscher of Electro's limited-time supply box was still on display, and now that she was Kiana, she was especially eager to acquire the Raiden Mei Character Card.

After longing looks, she finally navigated away from the supply box page.

Without the option to spend real money, Mu Jin was left to complete daily and limited-time missions to gather crystals...

She wondered about Xiangling's fate... whether she had escaped the clutches of the Treasure Hoarders.

They were supposed to rendezvous in Mondstadt City.

Knowing Xiangling, she'd likely post a commission at the Adventurers' Guild, hoping to draw more people to her cause.

"When will this body be healed..." Mu Jin sighed softly to herself.

Being bedridden was unbearably dull. Ignoring the soreness in her muscles, she forced herself to stand.

Barefoot on the wooden floor, she looked down and noticed her clothes had been changed while she was out—into a cream-colored nightgown. Her two thick braids had been undone, and her long silver hair had been carefully brushed out, free of any knots.

Mu Jin caressed the fabric of her nightgown, recognizing from its texture that it was no ordinary material.

Who could have brought her here? Surely not Master Diluke? Yet, before passing out, she was certain she had heard a girl's voice.

She moved toward the window, reaching out to slide it open.

Darkness had settled outside, the pristine moonlight casting its glow upon the earth.

Mu Jin stood silently at the window, absorbing the tranquil scene, the moonlight enveloping her.

The anxiety of being hunted by the Treasure Hoarders since her arrival in this strange new world was momentarily soothed.

Before long, the sound of the door creaking open captured Mu Jin's attention.

She turned to see a girl with ice-blue hair holding a tray of food, their gazes meeting.

The girl seemed vaguely familiar to Mu Jin, who cautiously offered a greeting.

"Um... Hello?"
