C19 I Want to Touch Eula's Thighs!
Mu Jin and the girl with ice-blue hair locked eyes. Mu Jin couldn't help feeling that her greeting had been awkward, and now she was at a loss for words.
After pondering for a moment, Mu Jin's sense of familiarity with the girl grew stronger. The girl, however, didn't respond to her dazed look, merely twitching an eyelid before placing the steaming food on the table and quickly approaching Mu Jin.
Before Mu Jin could react...
"Hey! I can walk, you know! Don't carry me!"
"Shouldn't a patient be resting in bed? Or would you prefer I silently add this late-night breeze escapade to my list of grievances against you?"
"...I was just... admiring the scenery..."
Mu Jin's confidence deflated instantly. She meekly let the somewhat familiar girl guide her back to the bed she had only recently vacated.
Her mind raced, piecing together that this girl must have been the one who rescued her.
Wait a second...
Did she just mention holding a grudge?
No way! Could this be Eula Lawrence?
Ding! Eula Lawrence's impression of you is at 15%! Current impression: a troublesome patient, foolish enough to enjoy the night air. Are you out of your mind?
Eula, not in her knightage uniform, was dressed casually—a white shirt and black tights that accentuated her alluring legs, paired with low-heeled boots, exuding the vibe of a powerful career woman.
Regardless, Mu Jin's first impression fixated on Eula's striking legs.
She yearned to touch them...
But then, upon hearing the system's report of Eula's current impression of her, Mu Jin puffed up like a miffed pufferfish.
Why did everyone she met think of her as a bit dim-witted at first glance?
Wasn't Kiana attractive?!
Alright, Mu Jin conceded that Kiana was indeed stunning when silent, the epitome of a goddess.
But the moment she spoke, her goofy nature shone through.
Eula, observing the silver-haired girl suddenly turn docile, wondered if she had been recognized.
Was she about to sarcastically comment on her being a sinner's descendant and then storm off, ignoring any advice?
If that's the case, I'll have to shadow her and make sure this guy doesn't fall prey to a Hillmen ambush.
Eula's icy blue eyes flickered towards Mu Jin, lost in thought, and she decided honesty was the best approach.
For some reason, she felt an odd sense of kinship with the girl before her, an urge to draw closer.
It was as if she had known this nameless girl from before.
"My name is Eula Lawrence. I'm the one who found you near Dragonspine Snow Mountain."
"Oh, I'm Mu Jin. I came to Mondstadt with a friend, but we were separated by the Treasure Hoarders."
Eula's brow furrowed. "Treasure Hoarders? Is your friend from Liyue, by any chance? Carrying a brownish-yellow... animal that resembles a bear?"
Mu Jin nodded frantically. "Yes, that's right! Have you seen my friend?!"
"Yes, we dealt with the Treasure Hoarders pursuing her during our patrol."
"Your friend likely headed to Mondstadt City to issue a commission. I overheard her mentioning she was searching for a friend."
Eula felt a bit uneasy under Mu Jin's intense gaze.
Knowing that Xiangling was safe in Mondstadt City, Mu Jin's anxiety melted away, and her stomach chose that moment to rumble.
Embarrassed, Mu Jin clutched her belly, trying to act as if nothing had happened.
Eula, having heard the unmistakable sound, cleared her throat and looked away. "Let's grab a bite to eat first, then we can discuss our next steps."
With thoughts of food dominating her mind, Mu Jin eagerly agreed. She was truly famished!
Watching Mu Jin, who still seemed hungry, the maid behind Eula leaned in and murmured, "Miss... the kitchen has run out of supplies. Tomorrow, we might... this young lady..."
They simply couldn't sustain her...
After a moment of silence, Eula spoke, "Tomorrow, we'll use more Mora to purchase food."
"Understood, Miss."
Eula hadn't anticipated the appetite of her unexpected guest, who had managed to deplete the entire villa's food reserves.
Mu Jin was well aware she had overindulged. Sheepishly scratching her head, she offered, "I think I have some Mora on me... to make up for it?"
Reaching into her pocket on instinct, she realized she wasn't in her Valkyrie armor, and her body stiffened.
Eula's smirk only added to the pressure as Mu Jin steeled herself to respond.
"How about I pitch in with some work instead? I'm strong! I can handle anything!"
She resolved to spend her remaining time undertaking missions at the Adventurers' Guild to earn money.
The guilt of mooching off someone else's food was weighing on her.
Eula, however, was taken aback by Mu Jin's eagerness to make amends. She hadn't been concerned about the matter; after all, food could simply be bought again.
But this girl, Mu Jin, claiming she could do anything... that was intriguing.
"Fine, I'll take you up on that. But remember, if you back out, I won't forget the slight."
