C31 Obito's Plan

Lost in thought, Itachi Uchiha was startled by a sudden, swirling distortion in the space behind him. A mysterious man appeared, his face concealed by a spiral mask, with only one Mangekyo Sharingan eye peeking out. This was Obito Uchiha, who had even claimed to the world that he was Madara Uchiha.

"With your Mangekyo Sharingan, you've read the stone tablet's inscriptions, right? So you should understand everything by now!" Obito's eyes blazed with zeal as he spoke to Itachi. "Our world is a profound disappointment, one that's begging for destruction!"

"Only with the Mugen Tsukuyomi can we create a world without suffering or war, filled with nothing but peace and happiness!"

"Choose to join us! Let's build this new world together!"

Itachi faced the self-proclaimed Madara Uchiha, his expression inscrutable. He took a deep breath, recalling the current state of Konoha, the Uchiha clan, his agreements with Hiruzen Sarutobi and Shisui Uchiha, and his thoughts of Sasuke.

"I will join," he stated, his voice unwavering, giving no hint of his true feelings.

"You've made a wise choice!" Obito's voice was tinged with excitement, as if his mask could barely contain his smile.

Itachi remained silent, his demeanor unaltered as Obito spoke with enthusiasm about their quest for true peace and honoring the Uchiha legacy.

As Obito concluded, Black Zetsu, a strange half-black, half-white being in a black robe with red clouds, emerged from the earth like a pitcher plant breaking through the soil.

"Konoha is ready," Black Zetsu informed Obito with respect.

"Itachi Uchiha, you truly are a clever one!" Obito Uchiha exclaimed with a hearty laugh. "Everything we're doing is for the sake of true peace. It's our duty as members of the Uchiha clan!"

Itachi remained silent, his expression betraying no emotion as he listened intently. As soon as Obito finished speaking, a half-black, half-white figure emerged from the ground, clad in a black robe adorned with red cloud patterns. It was Black Zetsu.

"Konoha is ready," Black Zetsu reported respectfully to Obito.

Hearing this, a flicker of emotion passed through Itachi's usually impassive gaze. The point of no return had been reached. He could only move forward with the plan as previously arranged. "Shisui, I hope your plans unfold as you desire. And I hope this Tenno is truly trustworthy," he thought to himself.

"I've convinced Itachi Uchiha! Everything is going very smoothly!" Obito declared, then turned to Itachi and said, "Carry out tonight's tasks as planned."

"I understand," Itachi nodded in response.

With no further delay, Obito activated his Divine Might Space and disappeared, while Black Zetsu submerged back into the ground, vanishing from sight.

Half a month later, the Ninja School resumed classes. Tenno, Tiantian, and Lee were now second-year students. Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, and the others had successfully enrolled in the Ninja School and became classmates.

As midnight approached, the moon bathed the world in its luminescent glow. Bored at home, Tenno examined the silver mask he had crafted—a three-star weapon named Concealment Mask with the attribute of Space. It had two skills: one that allowed the wearer to assume another's appearance for three minutes, and another that made the wearer's aura completely undetectable, effectively rendering them invisible for ten minutes. The mask was unbound, waiting for a user to form a contract with it. Its ability to conceal one's presence was extraordinary, even if it lasted only a brief ten minutes. Tenno had tested it within the village; once worn, even the Kage-level Hiruzen Sarutobi couldn't detect him. However, to avoid suspicion, Tenno limited his use of the mask, ensuring his secret remained safe.

He had casually strolled through Hiruzen Sarutobi's office, glancing over the documents on his desk. It was there he learned of the impending tragedy that would befall the Uchiha family that night. The original story's events were unfolding as expected.

"Even with my presence causing slight alterations in this world, some events seem destined to happen. Perhaps the Uchiha clan was never meant to be a part of Konoha. The conflicts from the Warring States Period couldn't simply vanish over time. Is Shisui still alive? If so, he must be preparing to act," Tenno pondered.

Suddenly, a system alert chimed in his mind:

Mission Alert: Acquire at least one Sharingan.

Reward: Blueprint for the Eye of the Three Magatama.

The Eye of the Three Magatama? The name echoed the Sharingan. Was there a connection? The system's mission was directly tied to the Sharingan, a surprising twist for Tenno, who hadn't anticipated such items to be part of the system's rewards. Could the effects of the Eye of the Three Magatama be related to the Sharingan's abilities?

A wave of excitement washed over Tenno. But the mission's requirements gave him pause; it would undoubtedly be a daunting task. The Sharingan was a prize sought after by the likes of Orochimaru, Danzou, and many others. Moreover, with the Uchiha clan's downfall tonight, by morning, the number of Sharingan bearers would be severely reduced. Apart from Sasuke Uchiha, the remaining holders were formidable opponents. The chances of obtaining a Sharingan were slim.

Yet, tonight presented a unique window of opportunity. Gripping the Concealment Mask tightly, Tenno began to formulate a bold plan.
